  1. Do not say Ävoid Reading....:

I would say read with discrimination and do not trust all that is in print

There are few enlightened Advaita teachers around and many commercial teachers

keep away from the commercial teachers

Read the works  original masters and

not the second generation works based on  an individuals coprehension or interpretation or, revised updates , etc

The originals works  are difficult to comprehend, search an good teacher, who is more your friend than a GURU

Reading alone does not give the full comprehension of Advaita a personal guide is a must

DENIGRATION OF HINDU GODS IS THE REAL REASON FOR ATTACK ON CHRISTIANS IN MANGALORE

    Author:Deepak Kamat

The Following are the list of abuses from one such book – Satya Darshini – distributed by the missionaries of New Life. This book is in Kannada and the translation of the abusive passage is as follows.

    · Urvashi – the daughter of Lord Vishnu – is a prostitute. Vashitha is the son of this prostitute. He in turn married his own Mother. Such a degraded person is the Guru of the Hindu God Rama. (page 48)

    · When ffice:smarttags" /><?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comP><P align=center><FONT size=3><FONT face=2. All the 16 incidents that took place were not attack on Churches. In fact, unauthorized prayer halls were attacked where the blasphemous pamphlets were distributed and aggressive proselytisation was taking place. These 16 incidents were not localized but took place across three districts of Mangalore, Udupi and Chikmagalur.

    3. The only place where attacks took place apart from New Life Prayer Halls was at a small prayer hall in the premises of Milagres Church in Mangalore, where some miscreants had damaged a Jesus idol. The VHP and the Bajrang Dal have condemned the attack at this place. Following this incident, a Christian mob gathered and the situation went out of control as the mob started pelting stones and disrupting traffic. The police was forced to intervene and this resulted in unsavoury violence.

    4. Since the past two days, it is not Hindu-Christian clashes that are taking place. In fact, it is more appropriate to call it”Christian-Police” clashes since the Christians holed up in Churches have engaged themselves in pelting of stones and disruption of traffic. The Police were forced to enter the Church to clear the mob and they found arms inside the Church.

    5. Incidents of Stabbing were reported in around four or five places across Mangalore district. In fact, an activist belonging to Shri Ram Sena was stabbed which led to a bandh call by Shri Ram Sena – a Hindu outfit that is not connected to Sangh Parivar.

    6. The VHP and the Bajrang Dal have condemned the desecration of Jesus idol at the prayer hall adjacent to the <st1:place><ST1:PMilagres </ST1:P<ST1:PChurch</ST1:P</st1:place> in Mangalore. They have also clarified that they are not against the Catholic faith and the Churches. However, they have clarified that the public outcry would continue as long as illicit conversion activities and blasphemy of Hindu gods take place.

    7. Even the Kandhmahal murder — which involved the killing of Hindu monk Swami Lakshmananda by missionaries – seems to have caste a shadow on this incident since the general public seems to have seen through Christian aggression.

    8. It may be recalled that there was a public outcry against illegal prayer halls in Davanagere district last week. In that case, the administration had closed the unauthorized prayer halls that were mushrooming in the region.

How disgusting. Ghee itself is an animal fat but now they are slaughtering animals to cook down slabs of fat to add to the ghee. Consider how these demons have polluted millions of pujas. The devotee thinks he is offering something pure to the Lord, (in foodstuff and ghee lamps) and it is actually a carcass product.

Some will want to kill these characters. Others may become vegan just to be safe.

An orthodox indian household does not buy Ghee = = The Ghee needed is all processed at home starting from Cow's milk

  7. The carniverous animals kill and eat meat

Biped animals are of two types of people the Carniverous and the Herbiverous ; To pretend we are not animals we have changed the names to Vegitarian and non Vegitarian and tried to class all biped animals in one as human beings.

Further, just like animals we have three classes of behaviour or Gunas which also shade our eating habits. The satvic have only grass , fruits and vegitables. The tamasic relish only meat The Rajasic have a choice of both!

Environment also contibutes. In desert and icy cold areas where vegitation is scarce have no option to live but on animals;( and live like them) when they migrate to greener pastures try to relish "Vegi" with but old habits die hard and the taste bud's continue to ask for blood. The struggle for survival is harsh and make's these people fierce. Their meyhods would appear to be tamasic bodering Rajasic when they come into contact with the green pastures. It is ordained by God that they live this style when no other option exists.

Where there is plenty of vegitation , there are both the carniverous and herbiverous animals.Bipeds of both too categories are found. The options they have are plenty, and their inclinations are also diversified. Those who cutivate deep observation and study the environment and the need to conserve the environment, take out the least of nature for their survival and are largly vegitarian and tend to be satvic.

The tamasic consume the maximum with minimum effort . Tons of vegitation, suffice to serve a large population, the cow, goat or turkey feeds and this is eaten by them- are they not gluttons indirectly eating atons of veg when a few pounds could have satisfied them. Truly they are the rakshasas.

Both have to live to witness the dance of life as ordained but with a balance to ensure a tilt towards the former. This calls for effort and understanding and have more to be Vegitarian- with or without understanding the underlying need

  8. The tradition that the state rules over temples is by was when the state was predominantly based on vedic culture ; Now the rulers are no longer wedded to Vedic culture and the greed to exploit the temples makes them easy prey to the onslaught by the non Vedic Cultures of today. This is a battle between the Cultures that are built up by and around Individual humans against cultures where no origin can be traced. THE plundering is not limited to Physical Assets alone but intellectual also - by Copying the practices and Philosopies and calling it their own.

Vedic Cultures are timeless and will last beyond time all else is timebound; Let us pray for a next avatar to take care of the present day Rakshasas.:crying2:
