  1. The power of sacred water to cure disease and relieving the sins

Gita says ‘Nadatte Kasyachit Papam’ which means that the Lord will not take the sins of any soul. The verse recited by the priests while serving Teertham, says that all the sins will be removed. This contradicts the verse of Gita. The verse of Gita is a stronger authority. Another verse says that one has to undergo the results of all his deeds whether good or bad (Avasya manu bhokthavyam). Therefore at the time of taking the sacred water a person might have completed the result of his sin, which is in the form of disease. Others may have to continue with the disease because the sin was not completed.

Therefore the theory of the verse of the priests is wrong. We do not doubt the power of the Lord. But we say that the power of the Lord is not in the Theertham. The power of the Lord cannot fail in any case. Even in the cases of Sun and Fire, which are controlled by God, are not failing in their powers. Sun always removes darkness. Fire always removes cold. Of course the incarnations of Lord Datta clearly show the transfer of sins of His devotees on Him and Lord Datta suffers the sins of His real deserving devotees. Therefore neither your worship nor the sacred water is powerful without the will of the Lord. The will of the Lord to undergo the punishment of your sins comes only when you are a real devotee by serving Him practically without aspiring any fruit in return.

The Lord gave the judgement and He only gives the results of your deeds. He will not contradict His own judgement. The Dharma deva (Judge) is only His external dress. He is the internal person in all the forms of deities. Therefore He cannot contradict His own judgement in another form of deity. Once in a college a head of the department resigned His headship and the letter was sent to the principal. But the same head was also the principal. The head went to the principal’s office and rejected his own letter!! This incident actually happened in an engineering college in which I was also serving as a professor. The Lord will not cut such a joke. The present tradition is making the Lord as such a joker.

  2.

Can you provide some sort of scriptural reference for this concept?

Veda says that every body carries on the good and bad results along with them (Priyaa priye…). At the same time Veda says that God is removing the sins of the deserving devotee (Ubhe punya pape, Apahatapapma etc.). Gita also says that one has to enjoy the good and bad results of the wheel of deeds (Tetvagham….tetambhuktva….).

At the same time the Lord says that He protects His devotees (Yoga kshemam…). God is the judge, who has delivered these results based on His own constitution. How can He violate His own judgment even in the case of a deserving devotee? Judgment is Universal but devotion is personal. This needs link of interpretation. <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> wanted to give all His wealth to Kuchela and transfer His poverty to Him self. In the incarnations of Datta this tradition is very clear in the experience. As a judge He fines His son and as father He pays the fine. The constitution is not violated and at the same time the devotee is saved. Jesus is another best example of this tradition.

Gayatri asked that why <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place>, the Lord, could not repeat Gita when Arjuna asked again. She said that a chemistry lecturer can teach chemistry at any time. This point can be correct provided God is in the inet human body like the lecturer (Jeevatma) present in his inert human body. In the case of <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place>, God is present in the human body which is a composite of the three bodies (causal, subtle and gross). The subtle and causal bodies together are called as Jeevatma and the gross body is the inert house.

In the case of the chemistry lecturer, he is just a composite of these three bodies i.e., Jeevatma present in the inert gross body. The chemistry is in the Jeevatma of the chemistry lecturer. In the case of Krishna, God spoke Bagavat Gita and <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> spoke AnuGita. All the knowledge taught by Sandeepa is present in <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place>, who spoke Anugita. But Bhagavat Gita came directly from God and God never requires any knowledge from any teacher. Thus, a double personality exists and therefore it is said “God in flesh”.

God speaks as a speaker and He does not require any aid. But if God speaks directly, people will get tension due to excitation by observation of the super power. Then knowledge is not grasped. To keep them in ground state, God speaks directly from human body and people approach without tension thinking that the human body is speaking. If God enters the inert body only, it is as good as entering an inert statue. Speaking through statue will again raise the tension. When God enters the human body He needs the Jeevatman also, which possesses all the qualities for His play. God need not use His special power for a work, when it can be done by the medium itself. Arjuna was retaining a little egoism and therefore the concept of the exhibition of such double personality is needed. Such analysis will pacify the egoism because God and <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> are different. For higher level devotees like Gopikas there is no difference between <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> and God.

  3. Why good people are suffering?

Some people say that even good people are unnecessarily harmed. They criticize God. You cannot decide any person as a good person. Did you observe him every minute from his birth? You also think yourself as a good person. Are you aware of your sins done in your childhood? You might have harmed an innocent insect in your childhood. Do you remember that? Even mental feelings are sins, which may not be expressed in words and actions. The feelings of the mind are the source of words and actions. Therefore the feeling may not hurt others today. But tomorrow it will hurt others which will come out in words and actions. In fact, intention is given more importance in the crime according to law. The judge gives more importance to the intention in giving the punishment. You are walking on the road and the ant is killed by your foot, without any intention. There is no punishment for such sins. But when you kill the same ant with intention, you are punished by God. Therefore mind is the source of action.

If somebody harmed really a good person, then also leave it to God. You should not revenge. Why? The reason is that you cannot judge the exact nature and line of the case. You do not remember your own sins. Some times you do the sin thinking that it is good. You cannot be the standard in judging your own sins. Only the Lord can decide. Therefore, if somebody harmed really a good person, in the view of the Lord also, then the Lord himself will punish him.

You cannot take the law and order in to your hand. You have to refer the case to the court. Let the Judge decide, and punish the criminal. Therefore the Lord said, “Revenge is Mine”. If the revenge is justified, the Lord will certainly punish. The Lord will not revenge if you pray Him to do so. The Lord, will not excuse even if you recommend the unjust case.

Neither you have the power to punish nor to excuse anybody. The reason for this is that you are not omniscient. If a sinner realizes the sin and repents, the punishment is reduced. After repentance if you do not repeat the sins, the punishment is cancelled. If the sinner does not repent, he will repeat the sin again and again. Such sinner can be controlled only by punishment. If this is not true the police department has no use. There are some sinners who can be controlled only by third degree treatment. If such punishment and revenge are not required, and if everybody can be transformed by preaching, then what is the necessity of the existence of’ Hell and Liquid Fire’.

If such possibility of transformation by love and knowledge is there, then why the Lord mentioned the word ‘revenge’ at all? Therefore this means that there are some sinners who cannot be transformed by love and knowledge. Some clever people criticize Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, who have resorted to punish the sinners. Such clever people should answer about the word ‘revenge’ uttered by the Lord and also should explain the mention of the liquid fire in the scriptures. If all the human beings can be transformed through love and knowledge such words should not have been mentioned in their scriptures.

  4.

This is a very nice post. It rings of universal truth.

However, when Krishna says to surrender unto him and that he will take away our karma when we are acting in his service, I do not believe that there is an implication that Krishna will have to suffer as a consequence.

God suffering for our sins is a Christian conception. It's beautiful in it's own (somewhat sado-masochistic) way, but it is not a Vaishnava conception as far as I understand.

Just like Lord Shiva can drink an ocean of poison and not be harmed, Krishna can take all reaction without suffering anything.

The stars or planets are the executives of the cycle of samskaras, karmas and their corresponding fruits which are totally called as cycle of deeds (karma charka). They are the executives of the judgments given by the judge (Dharma deva), who follows the constitution written by God. God never interferes with the executive function of His own commandments as said in the Gita (Nadatte kasyachit paapam). Shastras say that one has to undergo the results of his deeds even after millions of Yugas (Kalpa koti satairapi). This does not mean that the postponement of simple principle takes place. The interest is accumulated by way of compounding. Therefore scholars like to enjoy the results as early as possible. They never pray God to cancel the judgment which is impossible.

By prayers or certain rituals or by exhaustive crying before God, only postponement of the enjoyment of the results along with the interest takes place. Ignorant people misunderstand this postponement as canceling. Therefore this fundamental aspect must be realized. When the priests do certain rituals by taking some dakshina from you, they are purchasing your punishment through your money. Therefore a real Vedic scholar will never do the business of a priest because he knows the whole concept. No real Vedic scholar accepts the dakshina and even food from anybody which are called as aparigraha and vaishwadeva respectively.

Sai Baba said that the breads offered by the house holders were their’s sins only. Eating that bread is only enjoying the sin of others. Thus you find in our ancient tradition when somebody offers meals in a function to others, others also offer the same in their functions. The priest is earning his livelihood by this way but is becoming more and more affected. The priests are thinking that they are cheating the public but they are cheating themselves by this way. It is better to do hard work and earn the livelihood than such business of transfer of sin for money.

But if the whole ritual is transformed into a divine worship of God, the story is totally different. The grace of God comes there and the God may be pleased to reduce or remove the sin by enjoying it Himself through a human form. Here also the justice is not violated. The father pays the fine for his son. This is the only way of removing the sin. Either it should be postponed with interest or it should be sold to a priest or it should be enjoyed by God Himself. In anyway the result of the deed has to be enjoyed and it can never be cancelled without enjoyment.

But if you conduct the ritual as a divine worship of God and give dakshina to a deserving devotee, then the story is different. Your sin is not enjoyed by the devotee. God comes down in human form and enjoys your sin for the sake of that devotee. Even in this case the results have to be enjoyed only. Instead of selling your sin to a priest, it is better to sell your sin to a devotee. God has the tolerance to enjoy the sin of His devotee or the sin transferred to His devotee from you. But if you do the ritual by worshipping God and offering dakshina to the devotee, without the aim of removing your sins, the result is tremendous. It is a real sacrifice without any aim of business. God will undergo all your sins without any account since your sacrifice is also without any account. Therefore you must remove this poisonous idea of removing your sins through rituals by offering dakshina to the priests or devotees. You must be prepared to undergo the results of your sins and do the rituals with the same sacrifice without aspiring any fruit. Then you will be blessed by God.

  5. I am very much anxious to get a child and good health?

You are getting everything according to your present deeds and also the past deeds. The Lord has arranged the cycles of your births. In each cycle happiness and misery are alternatively arranged leaving the sequence of good and bad deeds. Even if you have done two sins subsequently the fruits of the two sins are not given to you subsequently. The result of a good deed is penetrated in between these two sins. Like this the Lord has arranged all your life cycles at present and in the future. If you are pestering Him, He will bring the result of good deed from the future cycle to the present cycle as a pre-matured fixed deposit with reduced value. By such interference your future life cycles will be filled with misery. Then you will scold the Lord crying “Oh! Lord you have given me misery from birth to death”. You don’t remember your foolish interference in the past birth.

The other way is that the Lord in human form should transfer your sin on Him and should suffer for your sake. This path is possible only when you don’t aspire for this path and worship the Lord in human form by sacrificing all your bonds of the world. This is possible only for a true devotee who never wishes that the Lord should suffer for his or her sake. Such true devotee will be worshipping the Lord without aspiring anything in return. One has to understand the theory of Karma and the devotion towards Lord. The Lord suffers for the sins of His true devotees only who are really serving the Lord in practice by doing Karma Sanyasa (Sacrifice of work) and Karma Phala Tyaga (Sacrifice of the fruit of work) in His mission without aspiring anything in return. In such service even an Iota of desire should not be present even in any biological cell of the human being. This is called ‘NISHKAMA KARMA YOGA’ AS EMPHASIZED IN GITA.

  6. Never criticize any one in the world

Never criticize any one in the world. If you do not like to praise somebody, keep silent. If you scold somebody and suppose God is hidden in that person, it will lead to immediate punishment. Worship of God and insulting God will have immediate results in this world because both are powerful (Atyutkataih Papapunyaih……). The help and insult to the colleague souls will have results in the upper world in heaven and hell. But the service and insult to God in human form and devotees will have immediate results here itself.

Generally it is very difficult to identify God in human form who will try to hide Himself by looking like an ordinary person or some times looking like even a negative person. God in human form acts according to the role taken on the stage of the world. The role is according to the divine program drawn by God Himself. The role generally does not contain the supernatural behavior, which will create problems of free mixing of God with the souls. The role consists of mainly normal behavior and sometimes subnormal behavior to test the devotees or to drive away the undeserving devotees who will try to exploit God. In such case there is every possibility of misunderstanding God as a normal human being or some times as a bad human being.

If you neglect God assuming Him as a normal human being, there is nothing wrong in it and you will not be in loss even though you may not have the benefit. But if you insult Him assuming a bad fellow, that is the greatest sin and will have immediate negative effect. Since, we cannot trace out God easily, it is better not to criticize even a bad fellow. Leave him to his fate. Who are you to criticize anybody? You have lot of bad points shown by your bulky thumb, when you point out others with your lean finger. The constitution of God running the divine cycle of deeds will take care of everything in the world. Why do you unnecessarily take the risk of insulting the hidden God?

  7. Analyzing God’s attitude to wards souls

God created all the souls and has the attitude of father towards His children. The father sometimes may have partiality in showing the love equally to his children. But God is always having infinite love for all the souls in equal manner. Even the punishments in the hell are meant for transformation of the souls from lower level to the higher level. God always tries to help the soul even if a trace of possibility exists in the cycle of the deeds.

One soul need not recommend about the other soul to God to show the grace. If somebody recommends to his father regarding the welfare of his brother, how foolish it looks! No soul should recommend to the God about other soul for protection or for showing the grace. If any soul recommends like that it is only insulting the infinite love of God. It is only the climax of the ignorance and the emotional love on the other soul, which lacks even the basic analysis of spiritual knowledge.

  8. How to enjoy worry

Never allow the worry to enter your heart in difficult times. When it knocks the door, shout at it to go away. Don’t open the doors of the mind. If you allow it, it is a thief which steals away your energy. It is like the dog that steals away your food. It is like the cat that steals away your milk. Food is your energy and milk is your courage. When you loose courage and energy tension is created, which is the source of all chronic diseases. Doctors say that the tension raises the level of lactic acid in the blood, which opens all the doors for all the chronic diseases. The physical health is spoiled because the mind and body are related to each other. The illness in the body affects the mind. The tension in the mind affects the body. Such tension results in the loss of memory and loss of intelligence.

In such state you are completely inefficient to plan for the solution. Your body is incapable of executing any plan. The worry cannot solve the problem and moreover it weakens you so that you will become permanently incapable to solve the problem.

Therefore neither should you run away from the life nor should allow the worry to enter your mind. If your realization about the unreality of the cinema, which is this life, continues, instead of worry, you can enjoy the problem in your life, which is as good as a tragic scene in the cinema. You may argue that you are involved in the life and not standing outside the life to be a spectator. This argument is not correct. The answer for your argument is that you can enjoy the tragic scene even if you are involved in it just like an actor acting in a drama.

If you are aware that the drama is unreal and if you are aware that you are only acting the role which is also unreal, you can still enjoy the drama as a spectator of the cinema even though you are involved in it.

Whenever you face difficulties and if you have not realized the unreality of the world (forms and feelings), there are two ways to solve your problem. One way is in natural level and the other way is in super natural level. The nature is the separated power from the Lord, which follows the rules of the logic and is called as Prakruti. The nature is separated because it becomes the separate object to be observed by God who is the spectator. God created this universe to see it for His entertainment. Even if He enters the world as human incarnation the spectatorship and entertainment continues because there is no difference between cinema and drama as far as its unreality is considered. Therefore if your problem is at the level of the nature, try to solve it using your courage and energy without allowing the worry into your mind which steals both these.

If your problem is beyond the level of the nature, then also you cannot solve it by allowing the worry. In such case the super power (Maya) has to enter into this world sent by God. The Maya is never separated from God unlike the Prakruti. Now, only the super power of the God can solve your problem and for this you must concentrate on God. For such concentration also, you need the energy and therefore you should not allow the worry to enter your mind even in this case. For doing concentration on God, you require the congenial atmosphere of real devotees around you. Therefore whenever the problem that requires the super power to interfere enters your life, you have to immediately prevent the entry of the worry into your mind and you have to enter into the association of real devotees so that you can concentrate on God for help.

If you remain in the association of the ordinary human beings, they will magnify the impossibility of the solution and force the worry to enter your mind. If you leave the association of these dirty people, who do not want to solve your problem and if you enter into the association of real devotees, you can easily concentrate on God for help. God will give an immediate stay because the problem cannot be cancelled forever due to the cycle of deeds presided by justice. However, the temporary stay has the possibility of permanent solution also. After the stay, there may be a chance for you to become a liberated soul by entering into the service of the God in which case your file may be condemned permanently.

If you are ungrateful to the help which involves the super power of God, your file will be opened after some time and the punishment can be given to you in some other form so that your impression about the cancelling of that problem by God is not disturbed. Therefore, at every step of your life, become grateful to God and transform yourself as a liberated soul through service to Him which alone can give the permanent solution.

You may be compensated regarding your loss in course of time. Thus you may recover the loss but the time you spent in worry can never be compensated. Since your lifetime is a fixed quantum, the loss of time cannot be compensated. If you entertain yourself with enjoyment even during the time of loss, the time is not lost. When the loss is compensated you have gained both the time and the lost thing.

  9.

it's my request to all of you who near to GOD or GODDESS please request or pry to GOD for me that he will helps me and solve my problem.

    Please Virendra

Do not ask any thing from God which is either related to present or future. When you ask some thing in present or some thing in the future, it clearly means that you are reminding Him about the corresponding reaction that is to be immediately implemented in the need. This indirectly means that God is not alert as you are. This is insulting God. Due to such sin the requirement is not answered. If you are asking to protect yourself or somebody else, it indirectly means that He is not aware of the things to be done due to the irresponsibility and this also indicates that He is not as kind as yourself.

It means that God has potency to help but not kind enough to render the help. On contrary, it also means that you lack unfortunately the potency. It means if you fortunately have the potency you could have immediately responded and helped. Therefore, when ever you ask for anything it clearly means indirectly that God has some type of defect, which does not exist in your case. When you ask Him to fulfill the desire it looks as if that your desire is constitutionally justified. But God is not positively reacting due to either lack of positive response immediately or due to lack of knowledge of the constitution or due to lack of kindness to help the needy. All these points are very very subtle. But God is the most subtle and therefore, the knowledge of this analysis will certainly restrict you from asking any fulfillment of your desire.

Never bring present and future before God. Confine to the past always before God. Look back at your past life. Hundreds of incidents are there where you were helped by God. Even if you dispose some incidents through the incidental probability of success or through the efficiency of your efforts, certainly there are plenty of instances in which the help from God is clearly evident. At least remember those few incidents and express your gratefulness along praise to God for His kind help that was already done. The word Krutajnata means remembering the past help. Kruta means the past help done. Jna means identifying it by analysis. If you confine to praying the Lord and thanking Him always about the past helps from Him, the Lord will be immensely pleased. Then the present and future are spontaneously taken care of by the God. But do not adopt this technique with a mind that you will be helped by God in the present and in the future by following this procedure!

You should really follow this path and you should really forget the present and the future. When large number of people came to hear the message from Jesus, they were hungry by the <st1:time minute="0" hour="12" w:st="on">noon</st1:time>. This point was brought to the notice of Jesus. He never asked God to provide food for those hungry people who came to hear God’s word. Had He asked for that, He would have insulted God. God knows His responsibility very well towards the devotees who came there to hear about Him. God has the power to fulfill His responsibility even in the last fraction of second. Had Jesus told God to bless the devotees with food, it clearly means that God is not as kind as Jesus. Jesus never asked for any thing. He came to know that there were four breads. He took them and showed to sky. He thanked God for providing those four pieces of bread.

Immediately the present was responded and the four breads became four thousand breads. This application of analysis is limited to Nivrutti only. You should not extend this to Pravrutti. When you are hungry you have to beg the other souls because they are not omniscient to know that you are hungry. Pravrutti and Nivrutti should never be mixed.

  10. How to reach God and how to recognize Him?

    A) Reaching God means reaching the medium in which God exists. No body can reach unimaginable God directly. You cannot catch current but you can experience current through the alive wire. The essence of Gita is to recognize and serve the present human incarnation.

What should be known form Satguru?

    A) It depends on your state. If egoism and jealousy are in climax, He will say that you must search for human incarnation. This is also stated by Guru. The reason is that Guru is not human incarnation. If those two exist in lower level, He will say that the power and grace of God exists in Himself. This is also stated by Guru because it is true in his case also. Such Guru is the incarnation of power of God (Amsavatara). If those two are completely absent in you, Satguru says that He is the human incarnation. Therefore, Satguru preaches according your state.

If Satguru is God, how can he show God?

    A) When you attain such maturity, Satguru will show Himself as God. <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> told like that. Really the Satguru is showing the medium only in which God exists, because God is invisible as He is unimaginable. Such medium should be taken as God. The alive wire can be only taken as the current. If the Guru is liberated soul, who accompanied the Lord in this earth, he will show the Satguru whenever you deserve.

People of which state can see God?

    A) When the egoism and jealousy are removed, which are the layers covering your eyes, you can see God through Satguru.

Which is great between Knowledge and devotion?

    A) Without Knowledge devotion is not generated. When Rukmini came to know all the details of Krishna (Knowledge) from Narada, the love on <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> was generated. Since <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> is God such love is called as devotion. Devotion leads to God according to Gita. The real proof of devotion is service. Rukmini attained the Lord through devotion and then served the Lord by pressing His feet as Maha Lakshmi. The knowledge should exist along as long the soul exists. Till you reach house, you must have the torch light. Even after reaching the house, the light should be there in the house. As the knowledge is lost, even devotees like Narada and Sudarsana have fallen by egoism. Knowledge without devotion is waste. Devotion without service is only cheating. Sankara told that knowledge and devotion are one and the same. In Gita the Lord gave highest place the both the knowledge and devotion, which means that both are one and the same.

After receiving knowledge should one keep silent or propagate it?

    A) Knowledge at any level without propagation is the greatest sin. Shastras say that such scholar will become the intensive demon (Brahma Rakshasa). When you propagate, your knowledge becomes more and more stabilized. Therefore propagation is useful for your upliftment also. But you must be sure that the knowledge which you propagate is correct. If you propagate the wrong knowledge it is again sinful. Therefore you propagate the true knowledge spoken by your Satguru only on his command. If the propagated knowledge was spoken by Satguru, there is no need of His command also.

  11. What is the sequence of spiritual effort? How is it done?

    A) Knowledge, devotion and service are the sequent steps. Service is the real proof of devotion. These three steps are indicated by Sankara, Ramanuja and Madhva who came in sequence. The practice of these three steps depends on your love to God. When the divine love exists, your practice is spontaneous. When such love does not exist, the question “how to do?” comes up.

    When the soul gains completeness?

    A) The soul attains perfectness in the one-way traffic service to God. If the service is there, devotion is there. Hanuman, perfect in the service, is the perfect devotee and scholar.

Why do not all see God?

    A) No body sees God. God is not touched even by imagination. How can we see God? God enters some medium and becomes visible through that medium. Through that medium also you are experiencing only the existence God. Only experience of existence is possible. There is no any way to see God directly. The current cannot be seen directly. When it flows in a wire only its existence can be experienced.

What is the fruit of service to God without aspiring His love in return?

    A) As I told, you should attain the perfectness in the one-way traffic in your service to God. You should not aspire any fruit including His love. When you are not aspiring even love what is the point of another fruit? Love is theoretical and can be easily given and the other fruits are practical. When you are not aspiring even theoretical fruit, how can you aspire other practical fruits?

What is the aim of spiritual institutions?

    A) The propagation of the divine knowledge should be the sole aim of spiritual institutions. If the knowledge is perfect, devotion will be strong and the service will be complete. The duty of Guru is only to propagate the correct knowledge. That is sufficient. The spiritual institutions should take the place of Guru.

  12. What is the essence of justice?

    A) Justice is the divine system created by God, to maintain the balance of the society so that the spiritual aspirants can do their efforts with peace. The justice is related to your colleague soul. The essence of Dharma is not to hurt anyone in anyway because the law and order is in the hands of God. At least you should not harm any devotee. But punishing the students for their welfare is exempted because the welfare of the student is the main aim.

What is injustice and immorality? what is the punishment for this?

    A) You may hurt your colleague souls in several ways. All these ways are injustice and immorality. For example by corruption you are hurting your colleague souls. At least you are not exempting the poor and devoted people. If you do corruption in the case of unjust rich people, you should spend it for divine purpose. If you spend it for your self or for your family, all of you will be completely destroyed.

When shall we speak truth and when shall we not speak truth?

    A) If innocent and devoted souls are hurt, you should not speak truth. To hurt a soul is the highest injustice. Kauravas harmed Pandavas who were innocent devotees. <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> asked Dharma Raja to tell a lie in the war. There it is justified. The final aim is to destroy the evil people. Ends justify means. In the case of God all the justice should be thrown up. Because in Nivrutti the real justice is to please God. The final aim of the soul should be Nivrutti.

Between duty and God which is more important?

This depends on your stage in the spiritual path. There is nothing to decide here. An ordinary human being will do the worldly duties only. Even if you advice to leave such duties, he will not leave because he cannot leave. For Sankara even though His mother asked him to do worldly duties, He left them and dedicated Himself to God only. Therefore, the soul does according to its spiritual state and inherent interest. Finally the interest decides the selection. Therefore you cannot have universal selection.

God is giving every thing to all the people. What the necessity of the service to Him?

The absolute reality is that God does not require any service and sacrifice from any soul. In this state the creation does not exist it self. But He created the universe for entertainment. He gave independence and intelligence to all the souls. God has removed the knowledge that this entire universe is His wealth only. He imposed ignorance on Himself and on the souls. In the state of this ignorance only, through sacrifice and service the love is proved. Such love only gives happiness to heart. There can be no better entertainment than this.

You are bringing out this point to escape form sacrifice and service. Such over intelligence arises due to your blind love on family and your selfishness. If you go to that absolute state of reality your self and creation disappear. If your point is correct, don’t ask God for anything. You want Advaita when you give something to Him. You need dvaita when he has to give some thing to you. If you do not aspire anything from Him do not give anything to Him. In fact the highest devotion is to give every thing to Him without aspiring anything from Him. But you are reverse to this. Apart from this, you show over intelligence!

  13. Should the soul not desire for the appreciation from God?

    A) If such desire is without egoism it is not wrong. Satyabhama was having such desire with egoism. <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> removed it.

After how much time and by which means the soul reaches God?

    A) The possibility to reach God is only in one human birth. If you miss it you may get other human births but without that chance. The five-fold service by words, by mind, by intelligence, by sacrifice of work and by sacrifice of fruit of work can be the only path to get the grace of the God.

What is the reason for these atrocities in the world?

    A) The only reason is not having the contact with God through Satsanga that imparts the divine knowledge in the human being.

If God created this world like a cinema, is it only the way for us to watch the cinema?

    A) God has given freedom and intelligence (discriminating power) to the human beings. Therefore, each soul is creating its own cinema. The stage, dress etc., are given by the God but not the story and dialogues. Therefore, God is the creator of the Universe but He is not the creator of the life of the soul. When God comes in human incarnation, He comes down along with His servants who are the liberated souls. Then only He is the writer of the story and dialogues for that divine play.

Why God is tolerating the dictatorship of some people?

    A) In the creation every incident is the result of the three dimensional network of action, time, fruit etc., You do not know the incidents of the previous birth. The person who tortured somebody is now born as the sufferer. You see this birth only and pity that soul. In the creation of God no injustice will take place and nobody will escape. Hence, the omniscient God keeps silent. The soul with limited knowledge talks all sorts of things.

Why the present rulers are not following the rule when they punish the innocent people?

    A) Again you are committing the mistake to think that the punished person is innocent. The innocence cannot be judged by either you or present ruler. Not only in the previous birth even in this birth he committed several sins which are not only known to you or even to himself. Therefore, the real judgment is given by God. The judge may give a wrong judgment. He gave like that because his enquiry is guided by God. You are criticizing the judge. The judgment given by him by mistake is correct because it is given by God. Anybody in this world who harms you is just instrumental. Without the enquiry and decision of God nothing will happen in this world. The God is punishing not with revenge but to transform the soul. This entire system of Universe is created and run by God only.

  14. What is special penance?

    A) Penance means the spontaneous urge in the concentration but it should be spontaneous. It is a state of madness. Such state came for Gopikas only. The other efforts need some reason. Without aspiration for fruit the madness that is reached in the love for the God is the special penance. In such penance the Lord becomes the servant of devotee. This is the higher fruit than Advaita.

If the doer-ship is removed can the soul become God?

    A) The God and soul are completely different. God is the creator and the soul is a part of creation. The Doer-ship has wide scope of range. Starting from the creatorship of universe, up to doing sins in the case of a demon, the word doer-ship can be used. The creatorship is confined only to God. If the doer-ship means the creatorship of the world, then such doer-ship is necessary for the soul to become God. In every action if the soul feels that it is not the doer and completely surrenders to God, the soul will become liberated and close servant of God. This is the maximum state of divinity that can be achieved by the soul.

It is said that God takes the form as per your desire. Does it not mean that He is formless?

    A) God is neither formless nor has form. In the creation both formless objects like air and form-full objects like earth exist. Because of this reason God is neither formless nor form-full since both are imaginable. Veda says that God is unimaginable. But God comes in human form, which is useful to the humanity in all directions. The main aim of the human form is preaching Divine Knowledge. That is why God has taken a human form which is very much useful to the humanity in various angles. You have to worship such form taken by God. He is not your servant to come in the form you desire. In Gita the Lord said that He will approach the devotee in the same path as the devotee approaches. This does not mean that He will take the form as you like. You can take any form you like which can be a representative of God (Pratika) but God does not exist in it.

The three faced and six-handed form(Datta) is Parabrahman. Then what about the other divine forms?

    A) Datta means God given to the humanity in the human form. The six hands show the six modifications in His external body and three faces show the three qualities exhibited by Him. Therefore, only Datta is the attainable form of God for humanity. All the other forms are the energetic bodies of the upper worlds. They do not belong to the world of humanity. It is the natural tendency of the human beings to neglect the available human form and to give value to the unavailable energetic forms.

    Does every soul reach God?

    A) For humanity God is confined to the human form only. Even the recognition itself is very difficult. Even after recognition it is more difficult to stand on it because He exhibits the Maya of three qualities. One in millions and that too in one birth after millions of births can identify and please the God with full sacrifice and service. Like this Gita says (Kaschit mam….).

Does the awareness in every body is the form of God?

    A) When God is unimaginable we cannot say that He is form-full or formless. The awareness in every living body is only a part of His creation. This awareness is the greatest in the creation, because it has a unique property of Knowledge. Since any greatest item can be called as Brahman, the awareness (Soul) can be called as Brahman. Awareness is imaginable and hence cannot be God.

  15. For which purpose Worship, service and praising are done?

    A) All these are done only to please the Lord. Praising is like giving dinking water. Service is like offering meals. Both these are called as worship.

“All this is God” is Vedic statement. Does it mean that all the body of human incarnation is God or does it mean that the entire creation is God?

The word Brahman has two meanings. The greatest item in a category is Brahman. Brahman also means God. In Gita, Veda is called as Brahman. Since Veda is the greatest among the scriptures, it is called as Brahman. Since God is greater than any greatest item, God is also called as Brahman. The inert energy is greatest in the creation. All this creation is inert energy only. If you take God is Brahman, the entire human body of the human incarnation is Brahman. If you say that all the creation is God, then the entertainment of God as told in Veda is impossible.

The enjoyer and enjoyed cannot be one and the same, because the entertainment is impossible. Only the human body is equal to the world, because the nine items are common in the human body and the world (the eight items of Apara and ninth <st1:place w:st="on">Para</st1:place>). The intelligence (Buddhi) exists only in the human body. Therefore, God pervaded in the body of the human incarnation can be said as God pervading the world. Therefore you can see the body of Krishna as the world but the world cannot be seen as <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place>. If the Universe is God, the soul which is a part of Universe is also Brahman. Since there is nothing other than Brahman, who gets salvation and from which the salvation is needed? If that is true there is no need of spiritual effort.

You told that you are every thing and you are everywhere. Then why not the soul be God?

    A) If you take My statement in the direct sense, then the spiritual effort becomes waste. If God is the whole Universe and if there is nothing other than God, how can the creation give entertainment to God? Veda says that the creation came to entertain God. Then Veda becomes futile. Therefore, the interpretation of God’s word must be done properly. In grammar there is statement “All this Kalinga”. Kalinga is the name of king. How the kingdom which is in the form of soil can be a human being called as Kalinga? According to grammar this means that the kingdom is under the control of king Kalinga. Therefore, you have to take my statement in that sense and so it means that all this is under the control of God. In some occasions, I tell such sentences to encourage the devotees. This indicates the affection of Satguru. In the climax of devotion where one sees only God and nothing else, this can be correlated directly. Gopikas reached that state. If this is true why are you eating food and not mud? You should not use this statement to escape the spiritual effort and feel that you are God. Such statement of the final Avadhuta- stage should not be used by every one.

Who am I? Am I the soul?

    A) You are the soul. Soul is awareness. Awareness is the special work form of the energy. Awareness is a special of form of inert energy that is generated by the Oxidation of food in the body.

    How can I see my-self?

    A) The essence of the awareness is the inert energy. Awareness is proved as the form of inert energy. If you stop food and oxygen the inert energy is not supplied and the awareness disappears. In the deep sleep the awareness remains as inert energy which is its basic form. Therefore, in deep sleep there is no awareness. If you see the inert energy like Sun light, it is equal to seeing the soul. To day you can see the awareness as the basic form of energy flowing as waves in sophisticated medical electronic instruments.

You say that you are Datta and again say that you are not Datta.

    Why this contradiction?

    A) If some body is eligible to digest the divine knowledge, the first statement is told. If some body does not deserve, the second statement is told. <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> never told any body in His life that He is God. Krishna told only to Arjuna during the preaching of Gita that He is God and Arjuna was close to the Lord for the past several births as <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Nara</st1:City></st1:place> with Narayana. Therefore <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> did not face any danger. Sankara also did not face any danger because He told that every human being is God. Jesus told before a group of people that He and His father are one and the same. Therefore, He was crucified.

Egoism and jealousy existing in every human being oppose the acceptance of one human being as God. According to Islam there is no human incarnation. Therefore, the human beings accept either the concept of every human being as God or no human being as God. Even a great devotee will suspect the human incarnation in some time due to egoism and jealousy. Therefore, human incarnation uses these two sentences according to the context. Even in a devotee the second statement will pacify the egoism and jealousy hidden in the subconscious state.

  16. How the family should behave to please the Lord?

    A) If the entire family believes the human incarnation, it will be possible to worship the Lord in human form. Since in your question the pleasure of the God is mentioned, we can observe the pleasure for our service only in the human form the Lord. In worship of idols or in the worship of formless God there is no proof of the pleasure of God that can be noted by us. Therefore, in this answer I had to limit to the human incarnation only. At least you can serve the beggars and note happiness on their faces. You will get heaven for the service though for a temporary stay.

    Does Pravrutti lead to God?

    A) The duties to be performed for the maintenance of the body and family are Pravrutti. Therefore Pravrutti is the basis to reach God, but Pravrutti alone cannot lead you to God. For a drama the stage is necessary. If you prepare the stage only without the drama the spectators will throw stones. Therefore, Pravrutti along with Nivrutti only leads to God. Nivrutti means service to Lord.

    How to practice to Nivrutti?

    A) Your question itself contains answer. Service to Lord in practice is the practice of Nivrutti. Nivrutti is in the form of feelings and in the form of practice. Praising or singing the Lord with words, loving God with mind and discussing God with intelligence is the feeling-form of Nivrutti. Sacrifice of work and sacrifice of fruit of work are practical Nivrutti. Nivrutti is completed when both forms exist. The drinking water is like the feeling-form and the practice is like the plate of meals offered to the guest. Then only we will get the complete grace of the Lord. Veda says the feeling-form as Asambhuti and practical- form as Sambuthi. You should not expect any fruit for the feeling-form. Even the hotel does not charge you for a cup of water! Only the plate of meals is charged.

If one follows justice, is there is no necessity to worship God?

    A) Justice is the stage and worship is the drama based on it. Even without justice the worship can be done. Kannappa is hunter. He kills the innocent animals like rabbit. But by worship he got salvation. Even without stage the drama can be played on floor. But the stage without drama is waste. The aim of practicing the justice is only to please the Lord. Therefore, whatever pleases God that is justice. <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> asked Dharma Raja to tell a lie, but Dharma Raja did not tell the lie. Dharma Raja was taken to hell because he did not tell the lie even on the advice of the Lord. Therefore, God is more important than justice. But in the Pravrutti which is the behaviour to the other souls, justice is more important than injustice. But in Nivrutti God is more important than justice. Since the Nivrutti is the aim of life mere justice is waste. By justice one can reach temporary heaven according Gita. By Nivrutti the permanent abode of God is obtained.

  17. What is the aim of the birth of every soul?

    A) A soul is the part of creation. Veda says that the world is created for the entertainment of God only. Therefore, every soul should realize that its existence and life are for the pleasure of God only and not for the pleasure of one’s own self or his family.

Can we take all the human beings to be born with some purpose?

    A) As long as the human being thinks that the birth and the life is meant for the pleasure of one’s own self or its family, till then the life has no purpose. The reason is that as told above. The real aim of life is only to please the Lord. Therefore, the life of such human being which thinks that the ultimate aim is only to please the Lord alone has the purpose of birth.

What are the duties of the human being?

    A) The only duty of human being is the service to Lord. But, for the service, the maintenance of the body and family is essential. Therefore, the duties related to such maintenance are also part and parcel of the main divine duty.

What is the reason for human incarnation?

    A) The main purpose of the human incarnation is to clarify the doubts of the devotees in the spiritual knowledge. Apart from this, vision, touch, conversation and co-living are the four fortunes that are the available to the devotees. To punish evil forces and protect the devotees, His power is able to do it. Mainly the human incarnation is only to preach the spiritual knowledge. Therefore, the incarnations like fish, pig etc., are only forms of His power. Vamana, Parasurama, Rama, <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place>, Buddha etc., are mainly for the preaching only.

  18. Lord never errs

The Lord is the writer of the constitution and He knows whom to punish. Some times you see punishment of innocent person. You think that the injustice is ruling. In the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1>:PlaceType w:st="on">kingdom</st1>:PlaceType> of <st1>:PlaceName w:st="on">God</st1>:PlaceName></st1:place> only the justice is the ruler by the grace of God. When the innocent is punished, the punishment was of some bad deed done by him previously and the date of the punishment coincided with the present incident accidentally.

    Anil <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Antony</st1:city></st1:place>

  19. Should we not ask god for help?

If you are ordinary person you should follow the rules of your deeds and nature. If you are a devotee, even then, you should not ask God for help. Your devotion must not aspire any result. You are asking God for help means that you want God to violate his own natural rules. The impression of millions of angles and sages is disturbed if God violates his own rules. That will give a poor impression on God. You are putting God to inconvenience by forcing him to use his supernatural power. Whether you are a devotee or not, you must always try to solve your problems by putting your best effort.

If you fail, even then, do not ask God to help you. Then, you think that it is your fate and worship God as usual. Arjuna was fighting with his grandfather, Bhishma. Arjuna was not putting up his best effort to kill Bhishma. He was having sympathy to Bhishma, who has brought up Arjuna. Noting this, <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> took His Sudarshana chakra and ran to kill Bhishma. That means the Lord tried to solve the problem of Arjuna through His divine power. Arjuna did not agree to this and forced <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> to stop, because Arjuna knew about his inadequate effort. But when Sindhava was to be killed, Arjuna tried his best, because Arjuna took an oath to kill Sindhava before sunset and otherwise he promised that he would enter the fire.

Since the sunset took place apparently due to the Maya of Krishna, Arjuna stopped fighting and wanted to enter the fire. He was just going to jump into the fire but he never asked for help. He thought that was his fate. Therefore, the Lord helped him secretly. Therefore, if you put your best effort, still fail because it is beyond your limits, if you happen to be a real devotee and do not ask for the help from God, then you will be helped by the super power secretly. The secrecy is due to preservation of the sacredness of his administration in the eyes of others.

  20. True Essence of Yoga

Yoga is the most prestigious field of spiritualism. People think about 6 wheels (Chakras) or lotus flowers present in the spinal card, which are not seen by the eyes. They are imaginary and so they carry some inner meaning. When you say a face as a moon, fools search for moon in that face. But, wise people see similarity in the face and moon. Similarly, wheels and lotus flowers should not be searched in the spinal card. Spinal card is the main nerve, representing mind, which is the base of love.

All these wheels or lotus flowers are the bonds of love in the various relatives like parents, wife or husband, children etc. They are compared to wheels or the revolving whirlpools in the ocean, which attract a swimmer and drown him. Similarly, these love wheels are compared to lotus flowers, since the lotus flowers attract the bee by sweet fragrance and bind it. Similarly, these love flowers attract any one and bind them. “Kundalini” is the mind which is the energy travelling as waves like a serpent, should cross all these love wheels connected to 7th lotus flower in the head called “Sahasrara”, which is Buddhi or intelligence that takes the decision, which is the firm love on God.

Bhagavat Gita is called as the main scripture of Yoga (Yoga-Sastra). Why there is not even single reference to these wheels or lotus flowers in anywhere in Gita or even in Upanishats? Since they are not real, they are not even mentioned. The author of the Gita was <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place>, who was called Master of Yoga (Yogeswara). <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> also says that the real yoga was lost since long (Sa kaleneha mahata….). This means that in the beginning, Sages in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">India</st1:country-region></st1:place> knew the real yoga and loved God only crossing all their family bonds. In due course of time only, this true yoga was lost. Why? The middle age Indians were unable to cross their family bonds and so failed to succeed in Yoga.

They wanted to cover their in ability by twisting the very concept of yoga. The family bonds were removed from the concept and only wheels or lotus flowers are left fixed. Now, they close the eyes and say that they have seen the lotus flowers or wheels, which are only imaginary. Now they cross these wheels by their imaginary “Kundalini” and say that they have succeeded in Yoga. These blind teachers are also not to be blamed, because they were trained like that by their blind teachers. This misinterpretation was done long time back and hence, even at the time of <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place>, He told that yoga was lost since a long time.

We cannot catch those original culprits, who were the top most twisting masters and so the present tradition also cannot be blamed. Only rectification is the way left over. Some say that they see light, which is only an imagination. After all, the mind is a form of energy and on its concentration imaginary light can be imagined. Instead of such a week light, you better see a strong light with your open eyes. What is the use of these imaginary lights and colours, without achieving the Lord through your love, which excels the various worldly, loves.

I pity the foreigners, who are trapped in this false imaginary line of yoga, who are wasting their precious lifetime and energy. In fact, they are the best to succeed in yoga, if the reality of the yoga is exposed. Their family bonds are very weak and their love towards God is real, which is proved by their huge sacrifice of money to God’s work. Money is the fruit of work and its sacrifice for God’s work is “Karma phala tyaga” as mentioned in Gita. Again, the middle age Indians twisted this word “Karma phala tyaga” as sacrifice of the fruit of the work like praying God instead of sacrifice of money.

The reason was that these Indians were unable to sacrifice money to God due to their strong love on their children. Foreigners ask their children to earn after certain age. Indians store money even for ten generations and still continue to store only. Since prayers, meditation and knowledge are very much diverted to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">God</st1:City>, <st1:country-region w:st="on">India</st1:country-region></st1:place> was blessed by God with good language, good mind and good knowledge.

Since foreigners are good in sacrifice, God blessed them with good wealth. Even Indian spiritual centres were strongly funded by foreigners only. Swami Vivekananda cried, “Why my <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">India</st1:country-region></st1:place> suffers with poverty in spite of so much spiritual knowledge?” Sacrifice of money (Karma phala tyaga) and sacrifice of work (karma Sanyasa) put together constitute the God’s service, which is the real Yoga (real proof of love) called “Karma yoga” in Gita. Foreigners are the best in this karma yoga and so they easily succeed in yoga. Throughout Gita, this karma yoga was explained as yoga and wheels or lotus flowers are not at all mentioned.

  21. Mr Anil Antony asked Swami ‘What is divine knowledge’?

Swami replied that the Knowledge given by the Lord in Human form like Bible, Gita etc is divine knowledge. If the concept of Human Incarnation is realized, the divine knowledge is recognized. If the people can believe Krishna, Jesus etc as the Lord in human form Gita, Bible etc is recognized as the divine knowledge. But the problem is that there are several interpretations of such divine scriptures. These interpretations are contradicting each other. Since these interpretations are given by different human beings and no human being can decide the correct interpretation. You yourself also cannot decide because you are also a human being. Therefore the original author of that sacred scripture can alone convince you with correct interpretation. Such correct interpretation is called as the real divine knowledge. For this you have to recognize the human form of the Lord present in your generation. The identity for such recognition is your inner self which gets convinced by such real interpretation which is aided by your careful and patient analytical faculty of intelligence called as buddhi. Even an illiterate person has such inner self and analytical faculty even in the absence of language.

  22. Mr Antony asked about the information of dangers in spiritual journey.

    Swami replied:

The only basic danger in spiritual journey is ignorance. The ignorance generates certain decisions. Based on these decisions you are slipping from the path. The ignorance does not like analysis by reasoning which is called as ‘Buddhi’. When the analysis is done the ignorance become weak and decisions are cracked. If this process of analysis is repeatedly done, it is called as memorization. Such memorization generates continuous knowledge, which is like the light. Then the ignorance and its decisions are crushed which vanish like darkness. You never slip in the path as long as this light persists. I give an example here. You are acting as a king in a drama. Your dramatic son is artificially killed on the stage. You are weeping on the stage. You are ignorant that he is your dramatic son. Such ignorance created a decision in your mind and you are feeling that he is really your son. Such decision gives you real pain. Now if you analyse that this is drama, your ignorance disappears and subsequently your dramatic decisions and dramatic pain vanish. But after a few minutes you have left the analysis and so the ignorance, its decision and its pain continues. The ignorance is mainly created by the wrong interpretations of scriptures given by demons who are born as some human beings.

Similarly if you analyze your self and identify that you are the soul and not the body, all the wordly bonds disappear. This is called as Salvation. Now you are qualified to attain and please God. With the help of the analysis of the scriptural knowledge you can identify the Lord in human form. Here also you must remove your ignorance that He is the human body. As you have recognized your self in the human body by analysis, you must recognize the super self or the Lord in that human body. Again by analysis you must recognize that yourself (Pursha), which is an item of the creation is totally different from the Superself (Purushotama). Such knowledge will keep you always in His divine service. Therefore the only danger is ignorance as mentioned by ‘Samat Sujata’ in Mahabharata (Pramadakhyo Mrutyuh…..). Lord Krishna started Gita with Buddhi Yoga only, which is the analysis leading to divine knowledge. Sankara also emphasized on the removal of ignorance by the analysis called as Jnana Yoga. Then only you can understand the statement of Jesus about leaving the wordly bonds for the sake of serving the mission of the Lord.

  23. Mr Antony asked what is the easiest method to please God?

    Swami replied:

‘What is the easiest method to pass the I.A.S. examination and to become the district collector?’ If corruption and copying are not existing can there be any easy method for this ? The fruit of pleasing God is very high and eternal. You can please the selection committee for the post of a peon easily because the standard of questions and answers is very low. But to please the selection committee for a very high post requires lot of hard work and sacrifice of pleasures in studies. Therefore pleasing God is on one extreme end and the easiest method is on the other extreme end. Love alone can please the Lord. But the Love must not be only in theoretical stage, it should be proved practically. If somebody comes and acts love on you, are you not testing it? The beggar praises you, but you shout at him. Your father shouts at you. But you are submissive to him because you know that he loves you really and his shouting is only for your welfare. Therefore love expressed in words and mental feelings can be also false. Your wife expresses her love through words and feelings. But it is real because it stands your test. When the situation demands she serves you day and night. There fore service is the proof of love. The theoretical love must be associated with practical love which is service. When the guest comes, you are giving a cup of water. That is theoretical love. The water is freely available. Similarly the words and mental feelings are freely available which are supplied by God to all the human beings. After giving the cup of water if you offer a plate of tiffin, that plate indicates the practical love. The food in that plate is your hard earned money. Therefore prayer and devotion must be associated with service. A plate of tiffin without water indicates your foolishness.

Therefore prayer by words, devotion by mind and discussions by intelligence is like a cup of water and it must be followed by service, which essentially is the sacrifice of the fruit of your hard work (Karma Phala Tyaga). The work done in such service is sacrifice of work (Karma Sanyasa). Thus sacrifice of words, mind, intelligence money and work constitutes the five parts of the total sacrifice. If you carefully analyse and if you are frank to accept the naked truth, the sacrifice of hard earned money is the most difficult item. If the money is absent even the body leaves your soul which has to be maintained by money and there is no need of telling about other relatives. Therefore this glaring truth is stated in veda as ‘Dhanena Tyagena Ekena…….’ Which means that you can please the Lord by sacrificing your hard earned money. People who are unable to do this mock at this statement or misinterpret it. You have to realize the truth in yourself only and there is no need of others. It is the fire test which is called as the flame test in chemical analysis. But this does not mean that you throw some money and purchase the Lord. If the most difficult sacrifice can be done it is foolish in not sacrificing easy items like words, mind, intelligence and work.

After this stage the Lord competes even with your life. Gopikas jumped into fire when Krishna left His body. Jesus told that His disciple must be prepared to carry on his own cross for the sake of the Lord. He sacrificed His body, life and finally sacrificed the final item called the soul by submitting it in the hand of the Lord. Thus total sacrifice is required to please the Lord and Jesus is the best example for such total sacrifice. Hanuman tore his heart with his finger nails for the sake of Lord. Prahlada did not leave the name of Lord even though the demons tried to kill him in several ways. You can understand the path by these examples and this is the meaning of the statement of Jesus that He is the path. It means that He proved the path practically through His life. This statement does not mean that Jesus is the path. It means that whatever practiced by Jesus is the path. If you catch Jesus you cannot reach the Lord. If you catch His practice and if you can practice that, you can reach and please God. This is the correct interpretation of His statement. Simply chanting the name of Jesus and crying for His crucification is not the path. He showed the path by practicing it. Similar is the case of Hanuman and Prahlada also.
