Wow...where do you get all this stuff dattaswamiji? Is this your own writing?

    Knowledge from the Sadguru

The Sadguru (teacher of true knowledge of God, who is also a human incarnation of God) gives the right knowledge, even without your service. You can serve Him only when you are convinced. Your service to Him will help Him help others. Infact a Sadguru does not need your service because He is God Himself. He can help others by His own powers. But you will not get the right benefit from Him, because you did not show gratefulness to Him. Suppose a doctor gives you medicines for some illness without asking for fees and you get cured. If you do not pay his fees due to your greediness, even though you are capable of paying, you will die with a new disease. So, only for your own safety, the Sadguru advises you to participate in service.

    Service to Sadguru

Service done to the Sadguru consists of two parts:

<!--[if !supportLists]-->1) Paying the fees in terms of money, which you have earned by your work.<!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportLists]-->2) Doing some work for the Guru.<!--[endif]-->

You can do either of these or both as per your convenience. When you have taken meals in a restaurant, either you must pay the bill or do some work in the restaurant. You can even partly pay the bill and partly do some work. Paying money as fees to the Sadguru is called as Karma Phala Tyaga. Working to serve the Sadguru is called Karma Sanyasa. Both these put together is called Karma Yoga or service. This is explained clearly in the Bhagavad Gita. Similarly, you must either pay the fees to the doctor or do some work in return such as by working as his assistant. Without doing either of these two, if you simply praise the doctor by words or express your love, by feelings, what is the use of all these?

Sometimes I pray at night for me to have a dream about Krishna.. I never do dream of him. However when I do cry out to him with a painfull heart something happens.. Its usually something small but just enough to let me know that he hears me.. Like tonight.. I was feeling like I just wanted to escape this life and cried out to him and then a comforting song would play on the radio.

Visions are miracles done by God to rectify the defective students. Visions are not necessary for the souls of perfect spiritual level. <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> never showed the cosmic vision(Vishwarupam) to Gopikas, who were the perfect sages. He showed this vision to sage Udanka who was rectified permanently. Again He showed this vision to Arjuna who was rectified temporarily upto the 18th day of war. On that last day, Arjuna refused to get down from the chariot for the sake of his prestige before the soldiers even though <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> ordered him to do so. Again <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> showed the same vision to Kauravas, who did not change at all. Jesus told that the devotees who believe without proof are really blessed. Hence miracles like Visions are not important at all in the case of real devotees.

    What sampradaya speaks of idols?

    <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on"></st1:City></st1:place>

<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Temple</st1:City></st1:place> and statue are necessary for low level people as said in Sastra (Pratima Swalpa Buddhinaam). It is a teaching model for a school student. But for a college or university student it is not necessary. It is called as Pratika (Model). Veda says to meditate upon the Sun assuming Sun as the Lord. The Sun is not the Lord. The Lord is not in the Sun. Sun is only a servant of the Lord.

All these points are told in Veda (Adityam Brahmeti, Nedam tat, Bheeshodeti Suryah). Veda says that the Lord is not in the statues (Natasya Pratima). Veda also says that no inert object and no human being is the Lord because the object or human being is an item in the creation (Neti, Neti). Gita says that the Lord comes only in human form (Manusheem Tanumaasritam).

The statue, which is in the human form is a model teaching you the concept that the Lord comes only in human form for preaching the divine knowledge in every human generation, to avoid the partiality to a particular human generation as said in Gita (Yada Yadaahi). Once you understood this concept the temple and statue is not necessary for you but they should be protected and respected as the models of divine knowledge for the future ignorant devotees. Some people are telling that ‘Kulluka Bhatt’ says about worship of statues. Kulluka Bhatt is a ‘Purva Mimaamsaka’ who is an atheist (Devo Na Kaschit).

How can he contradict Veda, which says that the Lord does not exist in statues? Gita condemns severely that a person-worshipping statue will be born as a stone. Here the meditation upon the statue is not condemned. Only worship like offering the food is condemned because the statue does not eat the food. Some fellow behind the statue is eating the food. In Gita the word ‘Bhutejyah’ means worshipping the inert object by offering food. Ijya means offering the food. Bhuta means inert substance, which is one of the five inert elements (Pancha Bhutas).

Some people say that the word Bhuta means ghost and those who worship ghosts become ghosts. We do not object such meaning. But the word Bhuta also means the five inert elements. Our meaning is in the same line of your meaning. A person worshipping ghosts becomes ghost. Similarly a person worshipping inert objects will become inert object. We are not contradicting your meaning. Our meaning is in the same line of your meaning and therefore you cannot contradict. Moreover the verse says that those who worship deities become deities etc., Therefore our meaning is in the line of the meaning of the verse. Yajna means feeding the guest after cooking the food and not burning the food in the fire. The guest is treated like fire. The hunger in his stomach is treated as ‘Vysvanara fire’.

<st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> stopped burning the food in fire and ate the food stating that He was hungry. Kapila condemned such burning of food in Bhagavatam. The Yajna is only cooking the food and feeding the guest. In this true sense Yajna is essential and must be performed.

    What sampradaya speaks of idols?

    <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on"></st1:City></st1:place>

O Learned and Devoted Servants of God,

Why is there so much rush in temples? There is only one reason. People think that if they go to the temples they can escape from the difficulties, which are the fruits of their sins. They also think that they can get some benefits (which are the fruits of good deeds) for good deeds that they have not performed. Obviously this is not true. The scriptures say “Avasyam Anubhoktavyam” which means that we must enjoy the fruits of our good and bad deeds. You cannot escape the result of your bad deeds and you cannot achieve the result of a good deed, which you have not done. One cannot escape the punishment given by the judge in the court. Similarly, you cannot escape the judgment of God. If this fact is written at the gates of the temple, nobody will enter the temple.

Then what is the actual aim of the temple? One of the sixteen divine qualities (Kalyana Gunas) of God is beauty (Soundarya). For example it is said that the beauty of Lord Rama disturbed the minds of even sages. The beautiful Lord should be seen first; “Drashtavyah”, as said in the Veda. So the statue of God in the temple must be carved most beautifully. The priest should decorate the statue in the most beautiful way, so that our eyes will be fixed on the statue. The next step is “Srotavyah”, as said in the Veda. It means that after seeing the form of God, we must listen to His other divine qualities. It is the duty of the priest to explain the other divine qualities of God. The third step is “Nididhyasitavyah”, that is your minds should be filled with inspiration given by the all-round personality of God. With this inspiration you must go back home.

  5. Why are people indulged in killing each other in the name of God?

Ans. The original founders of the religions were the human incarnations of the same God like <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place>, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha etc. Every religion says that their God only created this entire earth or this entire humanity. Unfortunately, there is only one earth and this proves that there is only one God mentioned by all the religions. Since God is one and the same, there cannot be contradicting concepts between the religions. But we find some contradictions and people are divided based on these contradictions. This division is leading to quarrels and finally killing each other. These contradictions cannot be from God because there is only one God as said above.

These contradictions were introduced into the religions by some misinterpretations of the followers only in the name of God. Hence the killing is also done in the name of God only. Q`ran says that you should protect even the follower of other religion and convey the message of Allah to him. It is left to him to follow or not. Hiranyakashipu worshipped Lord Shiva and his son Prahlada ( a great devotee) worshipped Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu killed Hiranyakashipu not because he is worshipping Lord Shiva but because he tortured Prahlada to change his religion of worshipping Vishnu. In fact Shiva is Vishnu (Shivashcha Naarayanah…Veda). The conclusion of this is that God will punish you if you torture the devotee of any religion obstructing the freedom of his religion. Prahlada did not force his father to worship Vishnu. The same God exists in different forms in different religions. Hinduism is a mini model of unity in diversity that should exist in the universe as universal spirituality.

  6. Why God keeps silent to somebody even after intensive cry?

Ans. A diabetic patient cries before a doctor to get a sweet for eating. The doctor has infinite number of sweets and he does not worry at all for giving a sweet to the patient. You are crying before God, who is the divine father (creator of all the souls) to give some wealth or to solve some problem. If He helps you, there is not even a trace of any personal loss to Him. Neither His wealth nor His power is finite and nor His love to souls is limited. The only factor that guides Him is to see the future position after the help. If your eyes are to climb the roof of your head after the help, God will keep silent. After the help you will fall down even from your present level and then you will cry again before the same God to lift you up.

If the doctor gives you the sweet, the level of sugar may go up and the emergent treatment is also the responsibility of the same doctor. Hence the doctor will not give you the sweet. If the doctor is confident of your health, he may give the sweet. Sometimes the doctor gives the sweet and conducts the emergent treatment to show you the truth, if you are scolding the doctor to be unkind. The response of the doctor lies on his analysis of the situation and it is not the subject of the patient at all. You must have the faith in the doctor (God) that any response is for your good only and you must know that the patient is ignorant of his own real welfare.

  7.

    What sampradaya speaks of idols?

I am not condemning statues and pictures. They have limited use. When your son is in a foreign country, you keep his photograph with you, just to see him in his absence. A photograph is meant for that purpose only. You cannot talk with the photograph. The Veda says, ‘Drastavyah’ i.e., you must see Him. <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Temples</st1:City></st1:place> are built only for this purpose. You can wash and decorate the idol. But there is no necessity of offering food. For maintaining the statue in the temple, the temple priest can earn his livelihood (by working in the world). Why should he take the food offered to the statue? Why should he earn his food based on falsehood, when there is an alternative to earn based on the truth?

A Guru must preach by referring to the Vedas, Shastras, Gita etc, which are the scriptures. An advocate, while arguing in court, must refer to the relevant sections in the constitution. Merely talking about spirituality without Vedic (scriptural) authority is not valid.

  8.

    What sampradaya speaks of idols?

    Idol Worship

The statue or photo is the inert object. The form carved in a stone or painted on a paper is also an imaginary form and not even a direct photo. The statues and photos are only models representing the concept, which is knowledge. The form of statues and photos is mainly human form, which represents the concept that the Lord always comes to this world in human form as said in Gita (Manusheem Tanu Masritam). Please remember that Gita did not tell that the Lord would come in any other form. The forms of fish, tortoise etc., were only temporarily to kill the demons and nobody worshipped such forms during their time. But Rama, Krishna etc were the human forms worshipped by several devotees like Hanuman and Gopikas. The Lord will come in every human generation; otherwise, He becomes partial to a particular generation. If necessary the Lord can come whenever there is necessity as said in Gita (Yedaa yedaahi).

Once this concept is realized, there is no need of temple and statue for you. You should go from school to college and then to university. This does not mean that when you leave the school, the school should be destroyed. The school must exist for the future batches. Therefore for you, the statue and the photo are not necessary and this does not mean that the statues, photos and temples should be broken. They should be protected and must be respected as the models of divine knowledge for the future ignorant devotees. Some devotees cannot accept the human form, which is before their eyes as said in Veda (Pratyaksha dvishah).

For such devotees the statues and photos are necessary for meditation since they are at the school level. The statues and photos are useful for the meditation of such limited minds as said in Sastra (Pratima svalpa buddhinam). Veda says that the Lord does not exist in the inert objects (Natasya pratima, Nedamtat), but says that the inert objects can stand as models representing the Lord (Adityam brahmeti). Therefore seeing and meditation upon the statues and photos are correct in the case of the ignorant devotees. But the other rituals like offering food, burning camphor, fume sticks, oil lamps and breaking coconuts, offering flowers etc. are not mentioned in Vedas and there are unnecessary and are causing the air pollution harming the humanity. All these unnecessary rituals should be avoided.

Offering food should also be done to the human form of the Lord only but not to the inert statues. Ijya or Yajna is cooking and offering of the food. Gita says that such Ijya should not be done to the inert objects. In the name of the statues, people are stealing the food and money. The statue and photo is not taking the food or Gurudakshina. The people behind the statue are taking those things and most of them are either cheating or wasting the money with ignorance. Whatever the Gurudakshina is given should go only to the priest and not the managing devotees. The business of the merchants by selling such materials in the temples should be stopped, because such materials are not even heard in Veda. Of course, the priest should be a Satguru and preach the divine knowledge to the devotees and the devotees should give Gurudakshina to such Satguru only. Thus, the temple should become a center of learning selfless devotion and divine knowledge and the priest must do only ‘Jnana Yajna’ in the temple and not the ‘dravya yajna’ as said in the Gita (Sreyaan dravyamayat).

Gita condemned such Ijya before inert objects because such Ijya is only cheating and business. Such a devotee will be born as inert object (Bhutejya yanti). This business is connected to removal of the fruits of sins and getting the fruits of good deeds, which are not done. All this is false, because the theory of ‘karma’ says that one has to suffer for all his bad deeds and can never get the result of any good deed without doing it (Avasyamanubhoktavyam…kalpakotisatairapi). The spiritual path should be preached in the temple, which must be ‘nishkama karma yoga’ i.e., sacrifice of work and sacrifice of fruit (money) of the work to the Lord without aspiring any fruit in return. Remember, that only the Ijya is condemned and not the temples or statues, which are the models of the divine knowledge.

  10. Our feelings and unreal bonds of the world

A paper and pen are sufficient to give a certificate. Similarly the knowledge and devotion, which are also made of nervous energy, are sufficient to attain the grace of God. The attachment to wealth is also a bond like the bonds with your family members. You are sacrificing your attachment to wealth and family members for the sake of God. Already the wealth and your family members are the immovable and movable properties of the Lord. For the sake of God, Shankara sacrificed the attachment to His mother and not sacrificed the mother because she is already a part of the movable property of the Lord. Similarly Gopikas sacrificed their families and butter (wealth) for the sake of the Lord and here also sacrifice of their bonds is the point. All the game is only with these feelings (bonds) which are almost unreal and not with real things. Therefore there need not be any tension regarding the bonds. Your bonds with other souls are unreal compared with the bond with God, just like the bonds in the drama are unreal compared with the bond with the owner of the drama.

The dramatic bonds change from one drama to the other. Similarly the bonds with your souls change from one birth to the other. The bond with God is real and eternal because, even in Maha Pralaya (the final dissolution of the creation) the souls exist in God, which are controlled by Him always. The Master-Servant bond exists always, which is the essence of any other bond also.

  11.

    What do you think?

the soul is twice negligible for God

This world is ‘Mithya’, which means almost unreal because its reality is negligible. The existence of a tiny cut on your shirt is negligible and you will not count its existence. This entire world is almost unreal for God and is like a day dream. All the five elements viz. matter and energy are almost unreal in view of God. The soul is made of tender and weakest energy called as awareness (chit), which is nervous energy flowing in most delicate matter i.e. brain and nerves. This nervous energy is almost negligible before the physical matter and inert energy and this physical matter and energy are negligible before God. Thus, the soul is twice negligible for God.

The most negligible item of this world is the soul. The qualities or feelings (gunas) are like waves of soul. They are negligible before the existence of soul. The water associated with some kinetic energy induced becomes a wave. The wave represents that kinetic energy. The physical existence in terms of visibility of energy is negligible before the matter. Thus the wave representing energy is also not completely unreal and can be called as ‘Mithya’. The subtle body made of these qualities is Mithya before the soul. Thus a dream made of feelings is Mithya before a soul. What are these bonds like parents, wife, children etc? These bonds are only just feelings, which are waves of the nervous energy. A father and daughter or a brother and sister separated from the beginning met in a foreign country and got married. Later on they realised and could not continue as couple. The daughter of sister is married but the daughter of brother is treated as daughter. In some other region and religion, the system is reversed! It is the wave of mind or feeling that is the essence of a bond. Therefore all these bonds are almost unreal (Mithya) for a soul.

Why there should be tensions, murders and suicides for the sake of these almost unreal bonds? Why there should be corruption for the sake of these almost unreal bonds and go to hell for the sin of corruption? It is these bonds that form the meaning of the word ‘world’ for the soul when the world is said to be Mithya and not the physical world. This is the essence of Shankara, which is misunderstood and the soul treats the physical world as unreal! An ignorant soul thinks that these bonds are real and undergoes tensions.

  12. God transfers your sins on to Him

Pandavas did lot of good deeds and rituals – only very little sin.

Their sin was not cancelled by – their good deeds and rituals done.

They went to hell as seen by Dharma Raja – Yama said that

Good and bad are to be enjoyed separately, – no mutual cancellation.

Gita says that God can relieve you from sin, – it is certainly correct.

But if you see the procedure – the fruit of action must be enjoyed.

God transfers your sins on to Him – and relieves you from your sins.

But this is only in the case of – exceptional top most devotees.

Bible also says that He came – to save His people and not all.

Due to these misinterpretations – human beings become sinners

With an idea to cancel sins – later on by doing certain rituals.

The corruption here is in climax – people loot wealth of innocent,

For the luxuries of their family members, – who do not share sin.

People kill others for the sake of – happiness of their kith and kin.

    Corruption and crime are maximum – in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">India</st1:country-region></st1:place> compared to others.

Shankara says, worldly bond – is unreal in past, present and future.

Anything unreal in past and future – must be unreal in present also.

The bond between two actors – was unreal before and after drama.

Then, same bond must be – unreal during the time of drama also.

Your family bonds are unreal even now, – since they were unreal

In previous birth and will be unreal – in your future birth.

Sage Ashtavakra says to Janaka that – the mother in the present birth

Becomes the wife of her son in next birth, – understand naked truth.

Two actors act as mother and son – in one cinema and the same

Actors act as wife and husband – in the next cinema, we see this.

For such unreal family bonds – you are doing so many sins,

They will not share even a trace – of your sins in the future hell.

Narada revealed this truth to Valmiki, – who was robbing travelers.

Valmiki became the sage – after realizing this truth practically.

Today even basic Pravrutti is dead – Nivrutti is not even in dream.

  13. The human incarnation is human being – charged by God

Veda says that space came – from the soul, Atman,

Then, the process of creation – is explained in sequence.

At the end, the soul, Purusha – is said to be generated.

Atman and purusha are same – but there must be difference.

Otherwise the first cause cannot be – the last product.

The similarity is that Atman or Purusha – means human being.

The difference is that Atman – is human incarnation,

Purusha is the ordinary – human being in the world.

Externally both look like – the same human being.

Internally also, you will find – the same three bodies

In both the human being – and also in human incarnation.

Gross, subtle and causal bodies – constitute both.

But in human incarnation – exists the extra fourth item

Called as unimaginable God, – who is invisible by any means.

Not only invisible but also – unimaginable to intelligence.

The reason is that God is – beyond three spatial dimensions.

It means God is beyond – three-dimensional space.

Space is invisible energy, – even ancient logic says that

Space is made of atoms, – atoms mean quantized units.

Bending of space around object – proves that space is energy.

The human incarnation is human being – charged by God.

Since God is invisible – there is no visible difference between

The human incarnation and – the ordinary human being.

You may say that why the word – Atman is used here?

Instead, the word Brahman – or God could have been used.

The reason for this is – very clear, if you are not jealous.

The only address of God – for the human beings in this world

Being the human incarnation, – that alone was given here.

    This means that <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> – generated the space, first.

Here <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> indicates God – charging that specific human body.

You cannot mention single name – like <st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> or Rama

Because there are several – human incarnations on earth.

But every human incarnation – is a human being visibly.

Hence, the word soul or Atman – is used here in general.

Remember, in Sanskrit, Atman – stands for human body also.

The inert energy produced by oxidation of food is the awareness

Awareness is only the name of – a specific type of work

Like walking, talking, eating etc., - work is a form of energy.

The original form of energy – is converted into specific work.

Specification of work depends – on specification of system.

Electricity is the form of energy – the same is converted into

Different types of works – in corresponding specific machines.

Same electricity in grinder – is converted in to grinding work.

Same in a drilling machine – is converted in to drilling work.

Similarly, the inert energy – produced in the form of heat

By oxidation of food due to – interaction with the oxygen,

Gets converted into awareness – in nervous system-machine.

Awareness means knowledge – it is the process of knowing,

Knowing means a type of work – work is not independent item.

It depends on the working element – and the working machine.

The working element here is – the inert energy liberated,

The working machine here is – the nervous system.

If a small electric shock is given – nervous system stops

Functioning any more, – the work is also stopped at once.

In deep sleep also – nervous system rests and no work.

When one awakes from deep sleep – the work starts again.

Work is property of inert energy – knowledge is property of awareness.

Awareness is also property – of inert energy vanishing in deep sleep.

Inert energy remains – without exhibiting knowledge and awareness.

Hence, this inert energy is called as – Nirgunam or quality less.

Awareness or knowledge is only – a quality or a property only.

Sattvam is knowledge – sattvam is a quality and not entity.

The entity here is inert energy – that remains in deep sleep.

Even the inert energy is dynamism – or oscillation of intensity,

It is propagation of waves, – it is again called as Rajas.

Rajas is also a quality only, – its inertia is called as Tamas.

Tamas is again a quality only, – the soul or inert energy

In cosmic magnification is called as – the primordial energy

Or Mula Maya or Mula Prakruti, – it is also a property only.

Property is dependable – entity is independent substratum.

Blue color is a property – the flower is the entity or dravya.

If the flower is bleached – it looses its blue color,

It became Nirgunam or – attribute less relatively

With respect to blue color – the flower is not absolutely

Nirgurnam to be called as God, – similarly inert energy or soul

Lost its property of awareness – in deep sleep, became Nirgunam

Relatively and so it is not – absolute Nirgunam or God.

Final entity is God only, – the ultimate substratum of creation.

The first creation is – this primordial energy or space, Akassha.

Ultimate Nirgunam finally stands – for ultimate God only.

But Nirgunam can also be used – relatively to created items.

Radio is on a table – the table is finally standing on earth.

Earth is the ultimate support – but table is also relatively,

A support with respect to – the radio standing on it.

Similarly, the inert energy – is called as Nirgunam relatively.

The inert energy is entity – relatively with respect to awareness.

Awareness is entity relatively – with respect to knowledge.

The relative Nirgunam is not – the absolute Nirgunam, the God.

Table is relative support – it is not absolute support, the earth.

Space, invisible energy – appearing as vacuum or Shunyam,

Generates visible energy or Agni – and matter in three states.

Finally space generates – awareness, a special typical work.

Mula Maya or space gives – matter, visible energy and awareness.

These three are Maha Maya, – the conversion of Mula Maya

Into Maha maya is apparent – from the view of Mula Maya.

From the view of Maha Maya – conversion is real.

Apparent conversion is Vivarta – real conversion is Parinama.

If you see mud in the pot – conversion is apparent,

If you see the pot only – conversion is real.

Vivarta says that no pot exists – without the mud.

Parinama says that pot brings water – but not the mud.

Both are simultaneous truths – with respect to cause and effect.

There is no difference between – Shankara and Ramanuja,

Shankara is for Vivarta – Ramanuja is for Parinama.

But the main point here is – conversion is limited here

Between Mula Maya and Maha Maya – God is not here.

Generation of Mula Maya – from God is not the topic.

The evolution of Mula Maya – from God is unimaginable.

Mula Maya is imaginable – but God is unimaginable.

The production of imaginable – from unimaginable

Does not exist anywhere – in this imaginable creation.

Only conversion of imaginable – into imaginable is known.

As Mula Maya generates Maha Maya – Maha Maya gives Maya.

Matter gives forms; Agni gives qualities – like colors etc.,

Awareness gives feelings – like knowledge, love etc.,

Mula Maya With respect to God – Maha Maya w.r.t. Mula Maya,

Maya w.r.t. Maha Maya is Mithya, – Mithya is relatively real.

Entire creation is Maya, – Maha Maya and Mula Maya.

The soul is in Maha Maya, – for soul Maya is Mithya.

For God entire creation – is Mithya, not for the soul.

The dream is Maya only – it is Mithya for the soul.

But the creation is not – Maya alone to be Mithya

For the soul, – creation is dream for God only.

For the soul Maya in creation – is like the dream.

Forms, qualities and feelings – constitute Maya in creation.

When Shankara says that – the creation is Mithya

For the soul, the creation – is confined to Maya only.

Only the forms, qualities and feelings – are Mithya for soul.

Primordial energy, - matter, visible energy and awareness

Are Mithya for God only, – dream of the soul is a simile

For the creation of God, – simile is only a simile, after all.

Concept is creation of God, – simile is dream of soul.

Through the simile – concept must be understood clearly.

Simile should not be taken – as the very concept itself.

The soul can enjoy the Maya part – of this creation as dream.

But the soul should not treat – the other two parts as dream.

For example take a girl, – the beautiful form of her body,

The shining color of energy, - and her love, the feeling,

All the three are Mithya – relative realities only for you

With respect to her matter, – her energy and her awareness.

You should not be trapped by – the Mithya part of the girl.

But one should not think that – total girl herself is Mithya.

The matter and energy of her body – and her awareness

Are not Mithya, they are real – equal to your self.

If you say that the girl is Mithya – you are also Mithya.

Yourself and girl are Mithya – for the primordial energy.

Both of you are Maha Maya – and Mithya for Mula Maya.

Mula Maya is Mithya for God – both of you are also Mithya

For God, who alone can create – Mula Maya or the space.

A liberated soul blessed with – super powers from God

Stands in the plane of Mula Maya, – Maha Maya is Mithya

For him only, even he cannot – create the Mula Maya.

The creator of Mula Maya is – God alone, God alone is

The creator, Ruler and destroyer – of Mula Maya of creation.

As God enjoys with relatively real – creation like a dream,

You can enjoy the Maya part – of this creation as a dream.

For God entire creation is cinema, – for you Maya alone is

A similar cinema, Maya is cinema – in this creation-cinema.

You are a part of cinema for God, – Maya is cinema for you.

In a drama, roles are forms, – colors are visible qualities,

Actions are feelings, all these three – are Mithya for you.

But the stage, actors and lights – are not Mithya for you.

With super powers you can control – Maha Maya as Mithya.

But you cannot generate – the very Mula Maya or space.

The energy liberated from – the fission of an atom can

Destroy the total awareness – existing in all the humanity!

You are a part of Maha Maya – controlled by Mula Maya.

You cannot create even an atom – how can you be God?

Advaitin says that awareness – is converted in to dream.

The dream consists of living – and non-living objects together.

He takes this similarity into – this entire creation and says that

Since creation consists of – both living and non-living items,

The cause of the universe – must be also the same awareness.

Hence, he concludes that – soul is the common awareness.

But the dream is not the actual – creation in anyway.

There is similarity but both differ – in degree of reality.

A pin and a hill differ quantitatively – but reality is same.

A hill in the dream and - a pin in the world differ in reality.

After the state of dream – deep sleep results everywhere.

The awareness is converted into – the inert energy.

Similarly when the creation – is fully destroyed,

The inert primordial energy – results like in the deep sleep.

Even the souls are converted – into inert impressions.

When the cinema is put off – the cinema remains as film.

The film is static impressions – on the inert substratum.

Similarly after the final dissolution – souls are also fixed

As inert impressions in the – film of primordial energy.

It is a static impression of – the entire creation called as

Avyaktam, which means that – it is not displayed as show.

When the awareness disappears – in the final dissolution,

How can you say that awareness is – the final substratum?

The activities of living and non-living – are static here.

The activity or work of living being – is awareness.

This primordial inert energy – as a static film stands

Based on the final substratum – which is the God.

The inert energy in deep sleep – is also a static film

Carrying on various feelings – as static impressions.

It is a microstate representing – the final dissolution.

The inert energy in deep sleep, - the static microfilm

Is also based on God only – and not on individual awareness,

Which already disappeared – in deep sleep.

You are rising from deep sleep – only by will of God and not

By the will of your soul or – the awareness that disappeared.

Similarly the macro film of – this entire cosmos after

The final dissolution, called as – static primordial energy

Rises to become active as cinema – by the will of God only.

Since God wishes, – immediately you conclude Him

As awareness, applying logic – derived from worldly examples.

God is omni potent and hence – can do anything above logic.

Veda says that God eats every thing, – this does not mean

That God is fire called as - eater of every thing, Sarvabhakshaka.

Brahma Sutra explains this – “Attaa Chaaracharagrahanat”.

God burns every thing - in final dissolution, but not fire.

Veda says, “God walks without legs, – catches without hands”.

This means that God can wish – without being awareness.

Brahma Sutra says “ Due to wish – not primordial energy”.

This means, since – primordial energy cannot wish, being

Inert, it is not the ultimate God, – this does not mean that

God is awareness since God wishes, – “God is not inert”

Does not mean that God is awareness, – you are not Rama,

This does not mean that – you are Lakshmana.

You are neither Rama nor Lakshmana – God is beyond both.

God is neither inert nor awareness, – He is unimaginable.

Mula Maya or primordial energy – has only one defect,

That is, it cannot wish being inert, – awareness has defects

More than hundred, very easy to – deny it, Vyasa wrote

One sutra only to deny Mula Maya, – but he wrote several

To deny awareness in body – “Anupapattestu….” etc.

Awareness is available only – in a living body,

Continuous awareness – is only assumption, not practical.

Matter, visible energy like light – and awareness dissolve

In Mula Maya, when Mula Maya – is rejected to be God,

Not to speak of awareness – which already dissolved.

  14.

Then why attach a title or a name?

    Why do we say "God".

If God can't make himself knowable then he is not God.

    Can can do anything.

He can make himself knowable if he wants to.

God has infinite capacity and abililty.

He can make himself known to a fish in the sea if he so chooses.

That is why we call him "God".

God is not knowable through personal efforts.

God is knowable if he chooses to be known.

God has made himself known to many servants and devotees.

If he couldn't reveal himself to anyone then he does not have the powers of God.

The unimaginable God is beyond the four-dimensional model of space and time. You can imagine the dissolution of matter converting into energy filling the space. Subsequently you can imagine the disappearance of energy in the space and the result is final vacuum. But, even if you try for your lifetime, you can never imagine the disappearance of vacuum.

God being the generator of space is beyond space and therefore, can never be imagined. If you have to imagine God, the pre-requisite is the imagination of disappearance of space or vacuum. Of course space is a form of very fine energy and in this context the word energy used by Me can be taken as crude form of energy. The only knowledge about God is that He is beyond the knowledge (Yasyaamatam… Veda).

But such unimaginable, absolute God comes in human form to give His presence to us, and He is known as Human Incarnation.

Lord is substratum of the whole creation and hence forms base. Without Him creation cannot sustain. Lord created the universe for entertainment. He has given free will to all the human beings to do whatever they like. But, the results will follow the deeds. So, He is indirectly controlling, that is to say that enjoyment for good deeds and misery for bad deeds. Misery is to bring realisation only and not to repeat the same bad deed. Otherwise, He is not responsible for one's deeds.

Creation is in Lord but Lord is not the creation. But such a Lord can enter creation at the request of devotees who wants Him only and His service. He comes down to give four fortunes to His devotees (to talk, to touch, co-living and to serve).

  15. God is unknowable

If you say that He is this and – He is not that, it means

That you have understood God, – None knows God,

Gita says this, – only God knows God, Veda says.

If you say that you know God – you must be God.

You say that you are awareness – and that awareness is God.

Yes, you are only awareness – you know yourself, we agree.

But awareness is not God – since you know awareness, yourself.

Every one is awareness like you, – if God is awareness,

Every body knows God, – then, how Gita said that

None knows God, – then, how Vedas say that

If any body says that he knows God, – he does not know

God at all, if any body says that – he does not know God

He knows God, – this means God is unknowable.

Advaitins have misunderstood – even the theory-class,

Advaita or monism is limited – to human incarnation only,

It should not be extended to – every human being here.

Advaita applies to Shankara, – He is human incarnation.

He swallowed molten lead, – followers could not do so.

He clearly filtered human beings – from Him by this miracle.

He told “Shivah Kevaloham”, – it means that He alone is God.

You have misunderstood Advaita – in the very first step itself

By extending it to all humanity – so that you become God.

This shows your ambition – to become omnipotent God.

Soham means that you are God, – this is the final eternal fruit.

It is possible but you have to – travel in a special path, it is

Dasoham, which means that – you are humble servant to God.

The address of God to serve is – the human incarnation here.

The care in service is that – you should never aspire for soham.

Hanuman studied Gita from Sun, – God told Gita to Sun, first,

He understood that Advaita is fruit, – Dvaita is the path to reach it.

With utmost care, He served His - contemporary human incarnation.

He received the fruit, – Ramayana is the practical procedure,

After understanding theory, Veda, – from Sun, returned to earth.

Advaitin has not understood – even the theory told by Shankara,

The Sun of knowledge on earth, – but follower is not Hanuman!

The follower is only a monkey – jumping quickly from right

Interpretation to wrong interpretation, - how can he come to

The practical procedure? – Ramayana is just a story for him.

Rama is Datta testing devotees severely, – first He masked Himself

With thick ignorance to impress that – He is a common man.

All His life is only examination of devotees, – no preaching here.

All the preaching was over – in the upper world for devotees.

He never showed miracles, – Lakshmana left his wife for Rama.

He acted as a watchman – while Rama enjoyed Sita in hut.

Rama showed climax of love to wife – by running for deer.

Rama overacted by weeping for wife, – all this is to divert

Lakshmana towards his wife, – Lakshmana was firm and never

Misunderstood Rama for His lust, - Rama acted as incapable

In several occasions, – Hanuman solved all His problems,

Some times Hanuman showed – miracles to help Rama,

But Hanuman always praised Rama – as omnipotent God,

Hanuman never thought himself – as God, only servant.

Every step of Ramayana – is a message for Pravrutti externally,

But internally every step is – a test in the end of Nivrutti.

Similarly Bhagavatam is a test – of Nivrutti for the sages.

    <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> acted as a thief and – over showed lust for ladies.

But the sages recognized Him – and surrendered totally to Him.

Mahabharatha shows the failures – of Pandavas in Nivrutti.

Even Dharma Raja, a leader in Pravtutti – could not succeed.

The places of failure are also important – to know for avoiding.

These three epics are – the laboratory – manuals after theory.

  16.

    We're still calculating aren't we?

Negotiating with God for a better deal. Figuring what we're doing is still worthwhile even if it turns out to have no basis in reality whatsoever.

    When will we surrender?

Today the development of science is terrible, which is the faculty of logic and analysis. Today the heart is reduced and the brain is expanded. The old generations were having a broad heart and less brain. The heart can be inspired by appeals but the brain will not be satisfied by appeals. If you appeal “All the human beings are one and the same internally and externally. God is one only. Do not quarrel with each other and be united as one family”, the effect of such appeal is temporary only. When the devotee returns back, the emotion is subsided by next day itself.

The reason is that his or her intellectual facility (Buddhi) is not satisfied. You have not given the logical analysis of such concepts. You have worked at the level of mind only and not at the level of intelligence. Mind is the steering rod and the intelligence is the driver. Mind is in the hands of intelligence. Due to this reason only, the Lord started Gita with the concept of knowledge and analysis (Buddhi Yoga). The driving knowledge of the driver is more important than the driver. The correct driving depends on the correct driving knowledge imparted on him by the teacher of the driving school, who is the Satguru.

In the case of Arjuna, the teacher of the driving school himself became the driver! You cannot imagine the fortune of Arjuna. When God Himself became the driver, He is called as Satguru. The word Sat is used to mean God. Guru means guide.

  17.

    We're still calculating aren't we?

Negotiating with God for a better deal. Figuring what we're doing is still worthwhile even if it turns out to have no basis in reality whatsoever.

    When will we surrender?

The correlation of the scriptures of various religions was done in a detailed way by several prophets who aimed at the world peace. Even I have done this correlation in major topics like human rebirth, concept of human incarnation etc. The effect of such correlation is not much because the devotees of various religions are neither influenced by the unity of the scriptures nor by the unity of human beings having the same bodies of matter and energy externally and the internal souls made of the same pure awareness.

Scriptures are the concepts given by various forms of God. Devotees feel that these forms of God are totally different from each other. Unless you bring the correlation of the various forms of God belonging to different religions, the problem is not solved in the root. You have to come from top to bottom in the solution for difference. The correlation of unity in the scriptures and in the human beings is an attempt of solving the problem from bottom to top. If you can prove the unity of the forms of God and establish the concept of single God in various religions, the scriptures have to be correlated forcibly because one God cannot speak contradicting concepts in various religions.

Like this if you come from the top for the solution, there is always a tremendous binding force acting on the heads of devotees to correlate the scriptures. Even if some little variations exist in the scriptures, they have to be unified by force in the light of unity of God, who is the single speaker of various scriptures.

  18. Unity in all the religions of world for peace

God is unimaginable and - cannot be served directly.

There is no other way than – to serve mediated God.

Buddha is also misunderstood – as an atheist by followers.

Buddha kept silent about God, – silence means unimaginable.

Silence does not mean that – God is non-existent, Veda says

That words cannot touch God, – only silence indicates God.

Shankara says that God is best – explained through silence.

All religions can be correlated, – since there is one God only.

The concept of one God – should be proved first of all.

Then only correlation of – the scriptures of all religions.

Without the basic establishment – of the point of one God,

If you correlate scriptures, – correlation may be coincidence, since

Some times unity may exist – in speeches of different speakers.

This will not bring unity in – all the religions of world for peace.

If one God is proved first, - all religions must be united subsequently.

Shankara united sub-religions – in Hinduism and brought peace.

Hinduism in those days was – like the present fighting religions.

Shiva, Vishnu, Ganapati, Shakti – Skanda and Surya were Gods.

Their followers were fighting – like the present religious followers.

    Yesterday-Hinduism represents – today-Universal Religions.

    Today-Hinduism represents – tomorrow-united religions.

Shankara brought unity in Hinduism – similarly Datta will bring

Unity of Universal Religions – through analytical arguments.

God stressed certain aspects – especially in various religions.

Pickup those central diamonds – and prepare a garland with them.

That will be our Universal Spirituality – for the peace of world.

Hinduism is famous for unity – in diversity of various aspects.

Christianity is famous for kindness – even for sinners to uplift.

Islam stands for sincerity and – strict discipline towards God.

Buddhism is for controlling desire – in the service to society.

Jainism is for kindness to – all living beings in this world.

Similarly you can pick up – gems from various other religions.

Science is also a religion – to analyze non-God items of world.

Shankara united various – branches of single religion, Hinduism.

    Then <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">India</st1:place></st1:country-region> stood as spiritual guide – for all Indians themselves.

Today all religions of world exist – in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">India</st1:place></st1:country-region>, Datta unites them.

Now let <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">India</st1:place></st1:country-region> stand as spiritual guide – for all religions in world

To unite all citizens of the world – to achieve world peace.

  19. Atheists say that there is no hell, heaven

Atheists do not believe in hell, - heaven and abode of God.

The souls will return from hell and heaven, – not from God.

For mere social service – God created temporary heaven.

On the earth the soul is given - opportunity to develop itself.

By social service it may go to – heaven for some time,

Or it may reach permanent – abode of God by selecting

God in human form here, - freedom is given to soul.

God does not want to disturb – the soul on this earth

By giving punishments constantly, - earth is not hell.

The soul is engaged in effort – with free opportunity here.

Hence, the punishments for the soul – are reserved in hell.

Similarly heavenly luxuries – may divert the soul here

From the possible efforts – for trying for Nivrutti in this life.

Hence, luxuries are postponed – to heaven after death.

The abode of God as - upper most world is also required,

Because for the souls - in energetic bodies after death,

A separate world with God – in energetic body is required, so that

The liberated soul by Nivrutti – is constantly associated with God.

Such soul assists the Lord here – by coming in material body again.

Atheists say that today – rockets have gone even to moon, hence,

There is no hell, heaven and – the abode of God in the space.

But scientists say that space is infinite – no rocket has gone

Up to the boundary of space – to say that space ends there.

Did you show compound wall – along the boundary of space?

If there is a compound wall, - what is present after that wall?

The space is infinite and – you have not shown absence of

Hell, heaven and abode of God – by showing the limits of space.

Of course, we have not shown to you – their presence also.

There is fifty-fifty probability – for absence and existence.

Let us assume their absence – what is the loss for me,

If I believed their presence – and acted accordingly?

I might not have enjoyed luxuries – like an atheist here,

Due to that my health and – mental peace are conserved well.

Let us assume their presence, - what will be your fate? Think.

You will be powdered in hell, - here also due to over luxuries

You have lost health and peace, - loss here as well as there.

Unimaginable miracles are seen – unimaginable events in life give

The experience of unimaginable God, - better to believe,

Even by logic of probability, – which is scientific concept.

Even the infinite space of cosmos – is a standing example for

The existence of unimaginable – nature, this is cosmic vision

Shown by <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">Krishna</st1:place> to Arjuna, – it is miracle for any one to see.

Such belief in God by probability – is a partial faith only,

But it is better than no faith – of atheism assisted by science.

The full faith alone gives – the final eternal divine fruit.

The above partial faith – should slowly result in full faith.

  20.

You are totally wrong, do you know why people go to temples, churchs and mosques...God likes us to test us and in return expects us to beg his help....

    Nah....

never...still the creation has been on the basis of give n take. Gods are created to help us human, in return we gotta do Pujan n all kinda stuffs. Gods are to help us. But praying the Gods to help us??? IT's total nonsense. Would you give anyone 1000 bucks pleading ??? No, never. But if that guy with gun asks ????You'd better go naked giving him all your things and walk around in birthday suit. This is exactly what applies to the Gods too. Are you daring enough to shackle the Gods? Got the Guts???

    regards

God is not at all bothered about the atheists or theists who criticize the misery

A person (God) cooked food containing sweet and hot dishes (created world containing happiness and misery), served it on the plate (rules the world) and eats the entire food (destroyed the world). An ant (the human being) entered the plate (exists in the world) and tastes the food. The ant criticizes the hot dish and likes the sweet dish for some time but gets bored with the sweet. The ant can neither cook nor serve and nor eat the entire food. If the ant enjoys both sweet and hot dishes, the ant resembles the person at least qualitatively in this one aspect of enjoyment. Similarly, the individual soul can neither create nor rule and nor destroy this world.

If the soul is able to enjoy both happiness and misery with equal attitude, at least in this aspect the soul can resemble God in a micro scale (Matbhavayopapadyate….. Gita). Otherwise, the soul does not resemble God in any way and if the soul says that it is God; it is the climax of foolishness. The soul can attain God at least in this one aspect and such attainment is called as Yoga (Samatvam Yogauchyate..Gita). The human beings should understand that God creates this world for His own entertainment and this is not for the entertainment of any soul. If some ants criticize that the person does not exist, the criticism of such ants is not even heard by the person. Similarly, God is not at all bothered about the atheists or theists who criticize the misery.

The results of sin are not only serving the purpose of alternative intervals in the continuous happiness but also serve as the cane for guiding the soul in the proper spiritual path. Due to happiness the soul becomes lazy and proud with ego and such continuous laziness and ego will ruin the soul. Therefore, the results of sin are required immediately to bring normalcy to the soul.

After some time these punishments bring down the soul to the subnormal state and now good results are required to bring the soul up to the normal level. It is just like balancing the horse with a double chain controlling it from both sides or it is just like balancing the patient with the weakness caused by antibiotic medicines and strength caused by nutritious food alternatively. The treatment is very critical and balanced and is highly specific for each soul.

  22.

    I think

For the Vaishnava, what need does God have of tests? If we are surrendered, we are surrendered--Paramatma can easily see if it is so or not.

    .

God test you not for His sake, but to make you know that what is your level, how much divine knowledge preached by Lord in human form has got digested in you. The tests are for your upliftment only. You may theoretically argue that you have tremendous love on God, which any body can clain, unless it is proved and tested. For that Lord in human form has to be infront of you. He preaches you the divine knoweldge but test whether you have digested or not.

Let me explain you it little more clearly.

Generally we do some service to the Lord and expect something good in return from the Lord. This is the norm of the general worldly business. The specialty of Lord Datta is that He announces His policy in the beginning itself. His policy is one-way traffic. You have to do service to Him but He will not do anything good in return. Thus the business completely disappears. At this stage itself majority of the devotees drop out. Some devotees come to Him prepared for doing the service without any good fruit in return. After some time He opens His second policy. This policy is two-way traffic but it is different from our two-way traffic. He starts doing bad for our service. As the devotees press His feet He will be beating them with His stick. This is the true love.

The devotee must have the divine knowledge to understand Lord Datta. By giving such troubles He is clearing all the sins. In clearing the sins He pays ninety-nine percent and the doer must pay one percent according to the rule of minimum justice. He appears to be giving troubles but actually He is clearing the sins. Then why He is not opening this truth. If the truth is not opened then only the true love exists. In the true love, one loves in spite of troubles from the other side. If the truth is opened this true love disappears. We will realize that these troubles are for his benefit only. Then we will tolerate the troubles from that angle. In such case it cannot be true love. Therefore Lord Datta maintains the secrecy. After clearing the sins, He will give boons. Without curing the fever, strong food should not be given. If it is given the patient dies. The demons were destroyed by such boons. There are three types of devotees. The low-level devotee asks for a boon like a demon. He does not give any freedom to the Lord. He decides that something is good for him and asks the Lord to give it.

The devotee acts like a master and is indirectly treating the Lord as his servant. The Master asks the servant to do a particular thing without any comment. The middle class devotees ask the Lord to do whatever is good for them. They give some freedom to the Lord in deciding, which is good and which is bad for them. Upto this point they give freedom to the Lord. After this point the Lord has no freedom and He has to do good only. Thus these devotees give 50 percent freedom to the Lord. The best devotee gives 100 percent freedom to the Lord. He asks the Lord to do whatever the Lord likes. This devotee is prepared to receive the bad also if it can please the Lord. His only aim is that the Lord should be pleased by doing whatever He likes. This devotee feels that he is only an inert means for the play of the Lord by which the Lord is entertained. A player beats the ball by foot and is entertained. The devotee also likes to receive continuous sufferings, if such sufferings can entertain the Lord.

When Jesus was doing the last prayer, He tried to avoid the future agony of death. For a moment He was vibrated with the forthcoming agony of crucification. But immediately He regained His originality and ended the prayer by saying “Let Thy will will be done”. He said finally that He is prepared to suffer if that is the will of the Lord. This is the best devotion. Lord Datta starts giving small troubles, which means that He is clearing the small sins. If the devotee is firm in his faith, then Datta starts clearing big sins. That means the small troubles will be slowly magnified into big troubles. When He clears your pronote of Rs. 100/- (Rs = $), He pays ninety-nine rupees and you will have to pay Re. 1/-. Then He starts clearing your pronote of one thousand rupees and then you have to pay Rs.10/-.

You have to pay one percent of your sin according to the least expectation of the Justice. In the first stage Lord Datta keeps silent without doing any good for your service. This is the test of Brahma. This is a sort of initial training for the further tests. Then Datta starts troubling you for your service. The clearance of small sins is the test of Vishnu. In the third stage big sins are cleared and your troubles are intensified. This is the third test of Rudra. From one angle these are the tests to find out the strength of your faith and truthness in your love. In another angle these tests are secret clearance of your sins and your purification to make you eligible for His grace. Only the best devotee can stand before the special Lord Datta. Datta is true God and His preachings are true. The benefit you get also is true. The real Sun can remove the real darkness by his real light and imaginary Sun cannot remove the real darkness.

You are spending lot of your time and energy in analyzing these worldly affairs. You are egoistic and you think that you are intelligent to solve the worldly affairs. By your intelligence and intensified analysis through long discussions, you will find that the worldly affair about which, you have taken so much care utterly flops at the end. If you spend even one-tenth of that time and that energy in the service and devotion on Lord Datta, your worldly issue succeeds beyond your imagination. In fact the servants of Lord Datta attend your worldly affairs. These worldly matters are below His level. His level of work starts when you go to the hell after the death. He will speak to Lord of the hell not to enquire about you and close the file since you are in His service. Thus you are blessed in this world and also in the upper world. Your faith is not 100 percent. To practice this if you are in His constant devotion all your duties will be also discharged by the power of Lord Datta in a fraction of second and in an excellent manner. One can test this concept in the case of one worldly affair and see whether what I say is correct or not?

You can test this in one case and you will experience the truth of My preachings.

  23.

You presume a lot, dear friend. You are correct that, if I truly have any love for my family, I will encourage them in their spiritual development.

However, I am so extremely fortunate to have family members who remind *me* of Krishna. They are the ones reminding *me* that everything belongs to Him and that anything which we may be using is on loan from Him.

Without my children, mother, father, siblings, etc., I'm certain that I would be an even *worse* follower of Sri Sri Guru-Gauranga and an even *more* degenerate sense-enjoyer!

To artificially abandon one's responsibilities is to simply incurr more karma, is it not? If we are karmically-bound to all of our relations, isn't it best to endeavor to carry out our duties/dharma to the best of our abilities so as to rid ourselves of those karmic ties?

Of course, if we are fully-surrendered to the Lord, then there are no such mundane considerations, but who of us can say we are fully-surrendered?

    Murali_Mohan_das;

You need not leave family, if the family members are aiding you in developing the devotion to God.

But let me give the essence of the meaning of leaving everything for Lord.

The inner meaning of ‘Sarva Dharmaan’ is simply total dedication of yourself to God from all sides. Anything or anybody opposing this is a sin. Anything or anybody encouraging this is the real Dharma or justice. The worldly bonds are born to use your self as the instrument of their happiness only as said in Veda. Jesus also asks you to leave all the family bonds including even the bond with your life to become His real disciple. The responsibility of the people left by you is well known to God about which you should not worry. When you feel the responsibility the detachment is not complete.

The sage Narada told in his Bhakti Sutras that the devotee attracted to God is like a person who is attracted by a beautiful girl and subsequently leaving his wife for her (Jaravatcha …….). The attraction was so powerful resulting in the state of madness, where the discussion of justice and injustice does not arise. The people who are left by the devotee in such attraction to God will have their own lines of samskara in which God may or may not take the responsibility of them based on His over all decision. He will enquire the merits and defects thoroughly and will take up the proper action. The mother of Shankara was granted salvation and the wife of Buddha was not granted salvation.

The mother of Shankara suffered in this world after leaving Shankara but reached the abode of God finally. The wife of Buddha enjoyed all the luxuries here after leaving Buddha and did not get salvation. The souls have their own merits and defects for which you are not responsible. You are worried about them because you have not analyzed the worldly love which has selfish motive only and in such case where is the point of your responsibility to them?

After crucification of Jesus, His mother Mary led her own line of life based on her own samskaras. When the love to God is in climax, this question does not find place in yourself. Actually this question is posed by others to you when you have reached such climax of divine love.
