Please restructure your question.You assumed that they were lying and tarnishing the image of Hinduism.If you do not know approach with humility.Sri.Raghavendra entered the pit alive which is called Jiva samadhi.No one claimed that he is alive in flesh and blood.But our body comprises of 16 rays of life of which some would remain in case of saints in the place where they are buried.Hence such a saint's soul anaswers your prayers.Even in Shankara sampradaya belonging to Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam a sage by name Sri.Bodhendra entered into Jiva samadhi near Kumbakonam where even the devout who are fortunate can listen to chants of Ram nama coming from his samadhi in nights.

Since Guru would aspect the 8th house till the first half of 2010 he would control the effects.Also Kal sapr dosh as per traditional texts would have effect till the 35th year of any person.It may hinder your efforts till then and afterwards it loses its strength.Marriagw ould be delayed

We dont know much about Vedas. We are looking at Holistic approach. We are looking at a Gurukul where they teach Vedas, Sankhya Yog, Gita, Upnishads etc and teach other modern subjects too. Also they should undergo Yog, pranayam training for physic.

 

I know the facilities are not very good and they have to stay in very strict

atmosphere. Thats ok as long as they get good spirutual education.

 

We are staying in Pune. But we dont mind where the Gurukul is located. I heard there are very good Gurukuls - Veda pathashals in south as knowledge of veda is intact in south more. I am looking at a good traditional gurukul. Can you pls give me more information about the education in such veda pathashals?

 

How about the veda pathashalas in Kerala and Coimbatoor? Or may be Utranchal?

If you are looking for Veda education alone there are a number of Patasals run by Shri kanchi Kamakoti shankara mutt at Kanchi,Kumbakonam etc.But if you looking for Oriental school which along side teaches modern education along with vedic studies,there is one school in Chennai in West Mambalam run by Sri Ahobila mutt (Vaishnava sect) and also Bangalore has one CBSE school with Vedic studies run by Kanchi shankara mutt as a residential school

Sadasiva is the ultimate Guru. Generally Mantras which are recited for any particular purpose need initiation. But if the mantra is recited only for spiritual advancement, then you do not need initiation.

 

In Bengal everyone reeds Sapthasathi without any initiation. In fact it is more popular in Bengal than in South India. Every Bengali knows Sri Sri Chandi as Durga Sapthasathi is called in Bengal.

 

The beliefs in Bengal are different from those in South India.

 

So there is no correct answer to your question.

You are quite right. In the south religion and mantras are still preserved in the old pristine ways and we should also take into account that the north,East,west all suffered much due to Mughal invasion which had probably resulted in dilution of rigidity in scriptural sanctity.

I cast his chart and found that his venus-Venus to be a period where he would have some gains from unexpected sources and his career may stabilise being disposed in 6th which is 9th from 10th.Also the exchange between 6th and 8th lords confers Vipareetha raja yoga which would manifest during the subperiod of Jupiter

I spoke to an official at Kancheepuram and he told me that Navarna Mantra needs to be given by a Guru. It is only after chanting this mantra 9 lakh times that the Saptha Shati inititation will be given. The person sounded a sticker to tradition and norms; it seems like the traditional (and correct) procedure for learning Saptha Shati.

Ceratinly you need initiation as otherwise it would spell diaster.There is even a method called siddharikoshta to check whether any particular mantra suits an individual.This however is not applicable to mahamantras

Initiation is required. Mantra sastra is not something which you can read from a book and understand or do. Grace is required. So is adhikara. The mantra is Keelita or locked and cannot be unlocked without Guru's grace, flowing from the proper lineage. Mere rituals or chanting keelakam or keelaka manta will not do.

 

Life is not to be found on the internet. Neither can Guru be found just like that on the internet. Keep looking for a Guru. The Guru will give a mantra which suits you first and then may be Navarna mantra. Dont give up the search or stop looking just because things are difficult.

 

Many Gurus prefer to remain hidden or to reveal themselves only to those they choose to. So keep looking.

You are quite right.iam shocked and surprised that people take to srividhya without a guru which may spell diaster if not properly guided by a Guru.
