  1. Very well said. I can't possibly disagree.
  2. Hello again, I've printed Shri Purohit Swami's version, but I'll start with the one you recommeneded. Thank you.
  3. But there are so many conceptions of God. And it is unfair to judge others who never had the chance to learn what we know.
  4. That's so kind of you. I'm going to start reading the book right now.
  5. But here again, such conceptions do not challange the human mind. We hide behind a very subjective contentment, one that is not valid for every human being.
  6. I think that there is no such thing as "Good" or "Bad" really. Our conception of Bad and God originally comes from the sensations of pleasure and pain. Like Epicurus explained. So I believe that your friend must first question the way he sees things before he can make judgements on the nature of anything.
  7. But what if I don't understand? Or I get it wrong?
  8. Hello everyone, Philosophy makes us think about, I would say, everything important to human being. It gives answers, more likely to be logical and convincing. It doesn't semm though to be satisfactory, that is why we turn to religions and spirituality. I'm wondering if it isn't enough? Why do we need spirituality if philosophy gives more logical answers, ones that the mind can easily accept most of the time? Thank you.
  9. I shall also ask myself these questions again.
  10. Thank you, I have found the book in thebigview.com I will read it, although I prefer to find the answers through meditation and observation.
  11. Thank you for your advice. I have to admit that I'm still ignorant in terms of spirituality. Is there hope for me?
  12. Now I can understand what you mean.
  13. Hello, thank you for your post. I still don't have an exact conception of spirituality. All I know is that there is so many secrets in this world, and I'm willing to discover thos I can discover. I haven't read any texts really, I'm just a blank paper. I need guidance from where to start, because there is just too much information and I don't know with which to begin. Thank you.
  14. I do not agree with what you've just said. For what is God after all?
  15. Thank you, but how do you know that?
  16. Hello everyone, I'm a 20 year old Tunisian spiritual discoverer. I'm new in the world of spirituality, and I'm seeking guidanc among you. Spirituality is not something most people are intrested in from where I come. Actually, rare are those who consider important and try to make their path through it, I haven't met anyone who can guide me in my learning processe. The only way for me to know about spirituality is the Internet. I'm already signed in many forums and I'm taking part in various discussion, but I haven't met anyone willing to guide me. I want to know how could we find our spiritual teacher, the one that will help us out in a beneficial way. Thank you.
