Against my better judgement I went to see the movie that has all the Hindus up in arms. WOW!!! What a bad movie. I am ashamed at myself for laughing half the time. The marriage measures in the states of Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin all appeared on ballots that did not contain a presidential general election. Despite the paranoia of "marriage-equality" advocates, ballot initiatives to enshrine man-woman marriage in state constitutions are not a political ploy to win elections. They are the only logical response to the constitutional lawsuits funded by the gay and lesbian community that threaten to impose the gay community's definition of marriage on the vast majority of Americans who prefer the traditional definition of marriage.

California's Secretary of State says an initiative that would again outlaw gay marriage in the state has qualified for the November ballot. Debra Bowen says a random check of signatures submitted by the measure's sponsors showed that they had gathered enough for it to be put to voters. The measure would amend the state constitution to define marriage as a union "between a man and a woman.":) It would overturn the recent California Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage in the state if it is approved by a majority of voters on Nov. 4. :) California public health officials already have amended marriage license applications and told local officials to start issuing them to same-sex couples on June 17.

Hussein Obama in CA. What could make this happen? #1. The referendum on the ballot that would reverse the State Supreme Court Ruling on same-sex marriage. This will bring Conservatives out in droves. (Hopefully out of their hatred for McCain they won’t vote for B. Hussein Obama.) #2. The craziness that keeps going on in B. Hussein's church. I've got to believe that the majority of Californians are not crazy enough to align their politicl ideology with those nuts; the latest being Fr. Pfleger. Like most other Americans, the majority of Californians have got to realize that B. Hussein is the product of 20 years of indoctrination by preachers who hate White people. #3. The fact that many Californians who would vote Democratic believe that B. Hussein is a closet Muslim who would be sympathetic to Islamo-Fascists; his autobiography indicates as much. SIDE BAR: If, God forbid, there is another Terrorist Attack on our soil before November 4, Cindy McCain can start measuring for drapes in the White House. #4. The large Hispanic vote in CA. There is a wide gulf between the Mexicans and the Blacks in America. They just don’t like or trust each other. The only thing that might offset this would be if Bill Richardson is on the ticket in the VEEP spot. And... #5. There's a lot of ticked-off, Hillary-supporting, women out there who, if they just stay home, along with many men who feel that Hillary has been dissed by the media and the Obama Campaign, can give McCain a 5% point gain. Texas Supreme Court rules against state in taking of children By Brooke Adams The Salt Lake Tribune Salt Lake Tribune SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Texas Supreme Court today turned down the state’s request to overturn an lower court’s ruling that that hundreds of FLDS children have been taken into state custody improperly. The high court’s ruling comes a week after the Third Court of Appeals ruled that some, if not all, of the more than 450 children in state custody should be returned home to the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints’ ranch in West Texas. The children were taken into state custody during an early April raid on the YFZ Ranch, based on the state’s contention that all were at risk of sexual and physical abuse due to the sect’s practice of polygamy. The children are in foster care or shelters scattered about the state. Those 12 months and younger can have their nursing mothers with them, and some have been reunited with their families but remain in the state’s care. The raid was authorized by 51st District Judge Barbara Walther in San Angelo, who also ruled after two days of hearings that the children should remain in custody. The appeals court found last week that Walther lacked sufficient evidence to support the state’s claims that all of the FLDS children were at risk.
