  1. To choose Ishta diva is to develop concentration when we recite HIS name. By one name of God you start doing your prayer & see the difference it makes in your life. You choose one of the names of God which gives you peace of mind & joy. God bless you! Hari Bhol!
  2. Actually God is one. People out of illusion give different names to God. God has form & He does not have form. Both are correct. We can not say God can be only like this. Who ever wishes to see God in his own way he can see Him in that form. Devotion is very important. Unflinching faith is required to realize God. Easiest way to attain God is to cut short your ego. Out of our ego we think the name &form given by us is only correct. You can call Him Krishna or Vishnu or any other name that does not matter. How you approach Him that is what matters. Be devoted to HIM alone You will reach Him. Truth is only one God. God is the only Truth. Hari Bhol!
  3. All our past karmas which lead to all our miseries will be exausted only when our senses are controlled & all our vasanas are exausted. To do that pray to God sincerely. Be kind , talk sweetly,& help others. May god bless! Hari Bhol!
  4. Death is certain for the born and rebirth is inevitable for the dead. So when Arjuna thought he was killing his own people Krishna told him the Gita. He told Arjuna even if he did not fight all those people would be dead. As a kshatria he was asked to do his duty. The war was between Dharma & Adharma. God is on the side of Dharma. So dharma has to win. So He advises Arjuna to do his destined duty with out thinking about the consequences.Do your duty with out expecting any fruit from it. God is omnipotent & omnipresent. He takes care of His devotees! HariBhol!
  5. Do not loose your heart. Pray Him sincerely. He will listen to you surely. It is only our past karma that brings everything. Do not blame anybody for your misery. May God bless you! HariBhol!

    Krishna

In Bhagavat only dasamaskanda describes the lilas of Krishna. All the other skandas describe including dasamaskanda the greatness of Narayana. They all reveal that Narayana took avatars as Matsya, Kurma ect avatar which includes Krishna avatar. When Arjuna was very dejected in the battle field Krishna reveals to him His real form Narayana embeded in him with everything. The Gita is narrated by swayam Narayana in the form of Krishna. It is childish to say Krishna is different from Narayana. Narayana has no beginning & end. Where as Krishna took birth & died . Krishna is paripoorna avatar of Narayana. Out of our love to one form we can not change the incidents of God's lilas. When we become fanatics, we loose the real goal of attaining Him as our ahankara arise above us in arguing our opinion alone is correct. Narayana took Krishna avatara to show that He is easily available to His devotees who are simple like Gopies with out any ego. He can be attained easily by our true love alone & not by fanatism! HariBhol!

    Krishna

It is always Narayana who took avatars to protect his devotees. Krishna was also one of the avatars of Narayana. Both Rama & Krishna were poorna avatars of Narayana. They lived like humanbeing & died like humanbeings. They showed people how a man should live in this world. Krishna before giving Gita lived according to His preaching in Gita. He was always detached & did everything with out attachment to the fruits of His actions. He showed to the world we should start preaching only when we follow our preachings. Narayana is the Paramodevata! No doubt in that! HariBhol!

    Ram

Rama actually wanted to fight Vali face to face only. Because of Sugriva's doubt whether Rama would be able to kill Vali made Rama take quick decision to kill Vali from hiding. Rama & Laksmana felt very guilty about the killing. That was reason why Lakshmana's anger( about Sugriva not doing anything to trace Sita even after rainy season ) subsides when he saw Angada & Tara approached him & Rama. That was reason Sugriva was pardened. Also Rama as Krishna took the death from the hunter's hand who was Vali in his previous birth showing to the world the wrong is wrong whether it is committed by God or human being. Every action has equal & opposit reaction. HariBhol!
  9. Narayana is the supreme God of the Hindus. He took many avatars & represent many gods like Rama, Krishna, Narasimha etc. Shiva, Brahma are also forms of Narayana only. Hindus can worship any God of their choice. It is the freedom given by Hindu religion alone in this world. Ganesh represents to destroy obstacles in our life. Saraswati represents to give Knowledge. Laksmi represents to give wealth. But ultimate God is Narayana. He is the main deity. HariBhol!

  11. Enlightment is possible only if you give up your vasanas, desires, attachments & fruit of action. if you give up all the above you can realize your SELF which is enlightment. You can attain that state in this body itself. HariBhol!

  13. Surely when a person dies , the soul takes another body according to its karma with all the vasanas. That is why our scriptures say that we should end all our vasanas to avoid the bondage. Vasanas are responsible for bondage. There is nothing to get confused. We are identified with the body. That also should end. That is why it is said God resides in all the soul.We should learn to respect all lives since God is present in all souls. if we give up our vasanas we can avoid birth & death & reach God easily. HariBhol!

  15. Gita if you if you tell reversly it is tagi(tyagi) . Thyag means give up, if you give up your ego, negative qualities & fruit of action, you can go near to God. The reciting of Gita is greater than dip in Ganga. To take dip in Ganga you have to go to Ganges river. Where as Gita can be recited by anybody anywhere. Leaving everything surrender to God , He will releise you from all the bondages & sins & give you mukthi(Liberation). Vedas can not be recited by everybody but Gita can be recited by everyone. Gita is the essence of all vedas, upanishads. so everybody who recites Gita with devotion gets mukthi. Naraya Himself took birth as Krishna to deliver Gita to all His devotees through Arjuna. God is so kind . He wants all His devotees to be freed from bondage. May god bless you all! HariBhol!
  16. Prabhupadaji interpretations were primarily meant for people who does not live hinduism or who is not born in India as a Hindu to understand various things in Hinduism. He did not want to confuse a new comer and hence he everything as Shree Krishna which is true in a way, because Narayana is all everything and He Himself is Shree Krishna, and all the avathars and all the Mahashakthi's. I agree with the above statement. True hindu should not be fanatic. Should not get annoyed when his idea is not accepted by others. Narayana is Paramodevata. You can never deny it. Saivites feel that Lord Shiva is ultimate God . Like that Prabhupada made his followers believe that Krishna is ultimate god. There is nothing wrong in it as a true hindu. But his followers can not force others to take his' guru's words as true. HariBhol!

  18. Bhakthiyoga surpass all yogas because it does not reqire any conditions. Yagja can be done only by few people, it requires lot of materials, money, man with out wife or woman with out husband can not do yagjas. Where is in bhakthiyoga, anybody, anywhere can be done. 20. Out of his devotion to Krishna Prabhupada has taken Krishna as supreme God. That is where Hindu religion gives one, freedom in their faith about God. Bhagavat is a standing example to show that Krishna is an avatar of Vishnu from 1 canto to final canto. no body can deny it. All Vedas, Upanishads describe Vishnu as Parama Purusha & Purushottama. Narayana is the ultimate God.He is undestructable.Narayana took the form of Krishna. Since He took the form of human as Krishna He had to die as Krishna. There is no doubt that Krishna is an avatar of Vishnu! HariBhol! viji

  22. with out bhakthi yoga you can never realize God. Like theory of relativity God is manifest & un manifest, He has form & He is formless. both are true. If you feel God has form He has . What ever name you give Him, He takes that name. What ever form He is given, He accepts it. Only devotion can make us feel His presence. Only by our mind we have to realize Him first. How can you attain Him avoiding bhakthi yog, in all the yogas you will have ego, attachment to the fruit of action. So only bhakthi yoga is best for realizing Him! HariBhol! viji

  24. Dear Sandy, Can you find the sugar that is dissolved in water? You can only know the presence of sugar in it by just tasting it. You can not deny the fact that there is sugar in it, can you? Like that God has to be felt, nobody can make you feel Him for you. You can experience it by sincere devotion & faith. When we are not able to see the stars in the presence of sun, how can you see the God when our mind is covered by desires& attachments. Only when you give up all your desires & attachment, you can start realising Him. So first give up your ego, wishes & attachment before trying to realise HIM. The short way to God is to cut short your ego! HariBhol! viji
