I agree with Sambya again,many times this old song turns true-bholi surat dil ke......naam bade aur darshan chhote.Or mukh me raam bagal me chhuri etc. Spirituality should come from within,it should be simple one and not complex type.I know many simple people who are religious but find tuff to tackle some normal problems in their life where there are some materialistic people who can handle same problems with ease! Showing to others that I am religious is as good as showing my all cars to public marked with my status symbol on them,very thin line is there with a pendulam howering around which is tuff to balance and those who can do this win the race of their life.

Whole thread is full of confusion and its pitty to see people's thoughts on Shri Vishnu by comparing him with Shri Krishna,I was fed up of comparison of God Shiva but now a new comparison has started.My honest belief from all such posts is--those who compare different forms of God they themselves look confused by asking such queries again and again,first Shri Shivji and Now Maha Vishnu. I have this tree in my garden resp.kaliji & It gives amazing flowers.Being its origin in Amazon jungles one needs to water it daily for a better growth.

I saw this episode on same day on India tv,the so called tantrik person was chanting mantras which are life giving and for the glory of Godess!!As per my humble belief he commited a sin by wearing Rudraksha mala and acted like this,sad thing indeed but this is kaliyug and we should be ready so see more such things around us! There is no one bigger than God,keep this in mind ALWAYS.

Here Kshamaji and Kaliji has advised you correctly.Still you want a Guru then think of God Shivji(Shri Shankara a form of shriShivji and a father of Ganesha)as your guru.Start your pooja with his devine and most simple mantra Om Namah Shivaya then proceed for Shri Ganesha sadhana.I wish you very best on the way you have chosen may Shri Ganesha removes all obstacles in your life. Nice post Sambyaji which has a hindu touch rather than blaming God comparing with other form of his own.Such post gives cool relief that there are still people who know what hinduism really is.

Showing you a simple but amazing thing with the help of Rudraksha,most of you may be stunned to see this. Take any Rudraksha bead in your right hand,now apply some pressure and press that bead to the lower part of your left hand,some image impression will come up.Tell me what you see there! That impression will go away in 3 or 5 minutes,you may feel some itching afterwards but that does not matter.

Both books have got copyright so sorry I cannot help you by scaning them and uploading on internet and by the way we hindus always do pooja with our own money hence it is always better to buy books from our hard earned money rather than asking for a scan copy or photo copy,this is our old way of religious tradition.

Show me a single instance(authentic)which says Shri Shiva born actually,if you can prove this I shall salute you for ever,mind you no one knows origin of Shiva coz problem is people dont know the difference between ParamShiva,ShriRudra,ShriShankar,ShriVishnu and Gurupita Brahma.Shri Shiva is Ajanma for your kind information.

niteshm It makes lot of difference,you need to double chek on this.Leave this matter on experts as you or I are not experts by any standards as far mantra giving is concern.

This mantra is perhaps to be recited when you offer some ahutis to Hawan. Else use "om shreem mahalakshmiyei Namah" do take an expert advise on this please what say niteshm?
