I am speechless at this discussion....what a waste of time...if God was offended by the colours we wore in front of him then he cannot be the perfect one...and he is the perfect one....whay are people so caught up in processes and not the essence of what is required....what we need in front of God is simplicity, love and purity....this has no colour.....that is what was always intended....dont go to God with any shades of colour of doubt....what on earth is this discussion about....

I do understand the concept of Prasad. Again we should look at the essence of the whole concept. I used to eat meat. But then I have not eaten since the last 10 years. Initially I used to crave for that but now i actually dont like the thought of it. So the process has been gradual and comes from within. Many many people who are stronger in their approach on this have never touched meat in their entire life and have been very strong in their belief. At the same time those very people indulge in Kam, Krodh, etc. So what is the use of just having the food. The fuel that is indicated is to say that the food should have been prepared with purity of thought and with love. But this does not come without someone realizing what love is anyway. Love is selfless. It is the purest form of worship of God. Eating food as pescribed and following rules as laid out in other aspects of life will not achieve God. What will acheive him is our actions not only in physical form but also action in thoughts. Fodd is a very very small element of this all. For a realized soul food or its taste is irrelevant. Food for such people is just a way to keep the body going so that they can continue in their worship of the lord. On the other hand I do understand that good tasting food with pure vibrations will result in happiness and staisfaction of a certain kind. At the same time people also get the same satisfaction through sex. But there is another form of Yog that teaches you to enjoy sex, not ejaculate but convert the orgasm to a higer energy form. God is nothing but happiness and love. Can be attained by many different ways. All ways are good. No one way is better than the other but for sure food or the purity of food cannot be the way. I also do understand the impact a Prasad has by being kept in a place where there are only positive vibrations and chanting. But then that is not the catalyst in isolation in being one with God. A muslim who follows what Mohmd. preached is as much entitiled to being one with God as a Hindu. A muslim will follow his own religion and also eat meat. He will have the same discipline the way we will have in our religion. All the ways are right as long as they are formed on the principles of love, purity and simplicity. In the end I do understand and respect your opinion and I am sure you are a very pure soul and realized in many ways. But try to break the shackles of processes and concentrate on the essence...

First if you are a true follower of your spritual master then you would have listened to him on humility...what makes u think that I dont know what Mahaprasad is...and what makes u think that by just eating mahaprasad and not following what God really wants u to that u will get human form...

How petty this discussion is, what difference does this make if Shiv is greater or Vishnu...this discussion is an extension on us Indians who are always in awe of the things at the top, including God !!!....so lets see if Vishnu is great and someone worships Shiv then by this logic he would not attain salvation just cause he or she worhiped Shiv, a demi god as some say...how untrue this is...remember Ram said that Shiv is his isht and shiv said Ram is his Isht...even if we dont believe in this, we do agree that shiv is a god, or as some say demi god...still he is God, if nothing he will make sure that brings us closer to God ...his isht that is Vishnu.....what a waste of time on this discussion...

How small our thinking has become when we think on these lines....Krishna is an extension on the Supreme Lord...lord himself...like Mohammad, Like Christ...guess by this logic 5 billion of the non veg eating population in ths world will either be born as animals or humans unfit for human lives...it si not what u eat ...but what u r..who u r....just by going to the ganges and taking a dip will not absolve u of yur sins till u repent them and learn from them.....

Why todays kids, look the parents before we critize the kids, very easy to point out blame but very hard to take blame on ourselves...we reap what we sow...kids are a reflection of us.

Sorry to ruffle some feathers but please understand that food consumption has nothing to do with achieving God or not achieving him....food is satvic and tamsic...so if one consumes tamsic food to say that he will never acheive God is untrue.....also most of the thoughts in in form of religious scriptures are symbolic innature and we try to take them literally...so when God says that I will absolve generations is a true follower is born in a family is to show that God loves and cares for the true folower to such an extent that even the followers generations are blessed by the lord....belive and love God for not what he can do or offer us in return but what u can do in your devotion for him.....devotion that will have expectations in return will not be complete and pure...this is not to say that this devotion is meanginless...all I am saying is the devotion to God without any expecations including spritual expectations are of the highest and purest forms....and remember a true follower will be born in a family that is already blessed by the lord....he knows all ...he controls al...he is it ....

Radha and Krishna signify purity in love and also remember that when Krishna was with Radha he was just a child and Radha was close to a teenager, i think he was around around 7 or 9 and she was around 12 or 13......what is important for us mortals is to understand his leela and not be bogged down by why this and why that....remember we as humans are like small children in Sprituality so our understanding is not totally developed. For example if a smal child was to look at a painting of mona lisa he would infer it totally different as compared to a mature person and that will be different to someone who is an expert in art and so on.....so lets leave why we do this and why God did this and so on...what matters is our faithin him and what he wanted to teach...listen to your ineer self...the inner self is the most poweful Guru we all have....and follow thy inner self....hope that helps

All, So can you please tell me what should I do. I live in ireland and would like to order Rudraksh. Now I have a choice of RR which is quite expensive and the other one is Rudraksh Nepal. Please advise as I would like to decide. I have ordered stuff earlier from RR and have been quite satisfied but I am weary of the high costs. Deepaji, Is Rudraksh Ratan the best place to buy genuine Rudraksh ? I was planning to go to Delhi in a few monhs. Are there any genuine shops in Delhi or Mumbai or areas around them. Please advise. Also I had a gentleman respond here and suggest that I try Rudraksh from Nepal website. There prices are cheaper on that site then the RR but not sure how genuine they are. Can you please advise. Although I have been wearing a 5 mukhi mala now for over 10 years I was wanting to buy a Kantha mala from 2 to 14. I never could afford it previously. Please advise if this is the right thing to do. I have also asked a few questions on Rudraksh and have done some intesive search on this subject. I have worn a 5 Mukhi now for 10 years that was given to me by some one. It has helped me immensly. My blood pressure has never been beyond 80/120 and my confidence level has been up. Rudraksh from what I understand can never have any adverse impact. And the most important thing is to follow the inner voice that you have. If the inner voice is prompting you to do so then go ahead. Any type of Rudraksh will not have a negative impact. A good substitue for the 14 faces is 7 faces. They both will do the same work. Monday will be a great day. Go to the temple and request the Priest to energize the Rudraksh and then wear it. People will have all sorts of rules for Rudraksh but one has to understand that we live in a homely life therefore we find it diffisult to follow rules. But some of the ones that you should follow are that you should avoid Tamsic food - Meat, Eggs and Drinking. Also not to wear it during the bowel movements. On the other hand I have never taken my mala off and the family doctor always tells me that he needs to research what i am wearing. All the best and Jai Sri Ram

I have my only child who lives with me full time and I am very happy with that. My child was born in 1994. 2) I have a good career and make a decent living. I had a hard childhood. 3) I went abroad in 1998 and have been out of India ever since. 4) My father Died in 1997 and my career took upwards since 2000 / 2001. 5) I wear an emerald in my right little finger and a Diamond on my ring finger - both in Gold. I have been looking for a Rudraksh mala to wear around my neck and I need help with the following few question, please help: 1) Where can I buy the most genuine Rudraksh beads outside India or from India 2) What is a size of Rudraksh size one should wear. Does the size of the bead have any impact. 3) Are beads better from Nepal versus from Indonesia or Java. 4) What combination should i wear? Can i wear from 1 to 14 Mukhi or should i be specific. 1 to 14 seems to be quite expensive so please advise. 5) My DOB is November 30th, 1963, time is 2:30 in the morning and place is Delhi, India. 6) What puja should one do before wearing the Rudraksh.
