  1. It is better to let the Christians have their own bible. Hindus can read that bible if they want to know what Christians believe. It is not necessary to modify their Holy Scripture. Two kind of faiths will mix up when such kind of scripture is accepted among people. Hinduism is very rich in their holy scriptures. It does not need a bogus bible. Only by reading the name “Krishna” in the bible a lot of Hindus would start believe in the teaching of the bible rather than believing in the Vedas, Puranas, Smritis and other shaastras. The Hindu scriptures are not well known among Hindus and providing a scripture from another fate, with names of Hindu gods in it, will undoubtedly make Hindus more ignorant about their own religion.

  3. Aum saccidaanandaarupaaya kR^iShNaaya aakliShTakaariNe|

namoH vedaanta vedyaaya guruve buddhisaakShiNe ||

Om namah.I offer my respectful obeisance’s to Sri Krishna, whose form is eternal and full of knowledge and bliss, who is the rescuer from distress, who is understood by Vedanta, who is the supreme spiritual master, and who is the witness in everyone's heart.

    gopal tapani upanishad (atharva vedic)

  4. The four vedas are very large. Most people are thinking four vedas are just four books. Four vedas are in 1180 branches and most of them are lost now.

All this branches have got their samhita, brahmana, aranyaka and vedanta/upanishad text. Krishna is mentioned Gopal Tapani Upanishad.

The vedanta speaks about a fifth veda called "itihasa puraana" where Krishna, Rama, Vishnu, Ganesh, Shiva, Durga etc. are often the main subject.

  5.

    "na tasya pratima asti

"There is no image of Him."

    [Yajurveda 32:3]5

There is no image of Him whose name is "mahadyasha"

Here the impersonal brahman is mentioned.

    "Andhatama pravishanti ye asambhuti mupaste"

"They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements" (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). "They sink deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti."

    [Yajurveda 40:9]7

This is a philosophical saying. Air, water etc. are worshiped with various vedic mantras. So you probably gave a wrong interpretation. This mantra means that somebody who thinks that this material creation is everything are wrong. Deity worship is a medium to worship Brahman in his impersonal and personal form. Like muslims worship kabaa and vedic people worship sacred fire.

    "shudhama poapvidham"

    "He is bodyless and pure."

    [Yajurveda 40:8]6

The correct tranlsation is : "He is pure and not bound by sins"

The Yajurveda contains the following prayer:

"Lead us to the good path and remove the sin that makes us stray and wander."

    [Yajurveda 40:16]8

    Yes, let us do that.

  6. Devotees who took diksha from Isckon acharya, ritvik systeme or from other sampradaya should never feel better just because they took diksha. That is not the right attitude.

    trnad api sunicena

    taror iva sahisnuna

    amanina manadena

    kirtaniyah sada harih

One who thinks himself lower than the grass, who is

more tolerant than a tree, and who does not expect personal honor

but is always prepared to give all respect to others, can very

easily always chant the holy name of the Lord.

  7. I have to admit that I am poor in English spelling and grammar. That’s why I came to English forums, so I can learn from you guys how you write English. I am from Belgium, we speak Dutch here and a little French too. What I see now on the internet is that people are using bad spelling, not because they can’t spell, but because they like to use incorrect spelling. I would appreciate if people could write in normal English language at their best.
