  1. I am not pretending to be an advanced devotee at all, because I am not I know better. All I have ever said is that diksha is important and disagreed with you on that and as a result YOU try and and say that is claiming I'm advanced, more BS, you want to pigeon hole people so you can hammer them to feel good about yourself. Again all you do from one person to another is fight and argue, from one thread to another and it does not matter what you believe at the time (the change is from one year to the next) yet you are ALWAYS RIGHT and everyone else is wrong whatever you happen to be believing at the time. This is just how YOU are, get some professional help!
  2. It's a waste of time to argue Siddhanta with someone like you, I know better because you think you know it all, why waste the time, better to show how idiotic you are, which is easy!
  3. " Because I am in touch with those who do" That is no replacement for being in the Dham itself, that is BS and will not purify you in any way. Stop pretending you are some advanced devotee who knows Srila Prabupada better than anyone else (you don't) and you might cure the empty hole inside you. Again all you want is to debate and get a rush, but in doing so you are digging yourself into a deep hole of aparadha.
  4. YOU are the charlatan cbrahma who has tried to highjack Prabupadas words and USE then to fit your agenda here to attack others, you are seething with sadhu ninda and aparadha, and lost in your own speculation.
  5. "As far as sanga is concerned, India is just as full of charletans and the West." How do you know, you never even been to India or Braja and met with any advanced Vaishnavas, yet from your computer room you condemn them, how idiotic and uninformed and yes I hate this term but 'PUFFED UP" HA!
  6. All you want to do is fight and fill some empty hole in you dude, you know knowing of Gaudiya Siddhanta or Prabupada and what he taught, you are some kooky hybrid .
  7. cbrahma, I did not have to dig deep at all, you waffle so much a child could figure you out. All you want to do is be KING OF THE HILL! and be right. But guess what, you are as about WRONG as anyone I have ever met regarding Gaudiya Vaishnavism, it's laughable, you never been to India, never had sadhu sanga of advanced vaishnavas at all, yet you think by reading letters you know more than anyone, your a numbskull. You know nothing of Gaudiya Siddhanta, Srila Prabupada, and think that Sadhu Sanga is serving under Rameswar and Gopal Bhatta ha ha ha ! Please stop pretending you are some expert, you are a bitter angry guy with an agenda and that is to FEED FEED FEED some empty hole in you and try and make everyone as upset as you are inside..
  8. I want to point out that this cbrahma is really a very confused and disturbed fellow, he does not care about Srila Prabupadas mission or what is true Gaudiya Siddhanta. He only cares about winning debates what ever the subject may be and bothering other people, he is in the fight for the thrill and rush he gets from it and to get what is called narcissistic supply. This can be evidenced by looking at his posts from the past, sometimes he is a Christian and is fighting like hell over that, insulting others saying it is more personal than KC or Hinduism, at other times he even criticizies devotees for worshipping a stone image of God! (not very much in line with what Prabupada taught or Gaudiya Siddhanta itself hey?) He has waffled so much in his belief here on this forum that that I'm sure he doesn't know what the hell he believes but regardless he wants to be RIGHT at any cost and to bust your balls (begger knows) in the mean time. His pattern is clearly of a narcisstic who is isolated and doesn't have a lot of contact with others, but wages war with every post he makes which is an opportunity to bother and upset others (not to promote what is truth at all) He is simply using the forums and these debates to garnish Narcissitic Supply for himself, (he feeds off it) and is really quite pathological. Be warned, I have the quotes from him to show you all what I say here is fact... Here's a few: why I stopped chanting <hr style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --> I used to do the basic sadhanna - 16 rounds, the morning program, taking only prasadam , harer nama reading the sastras etc... I stopped because everything was complication on top of complication. Just the chanting was a mine field of possible offenses, not to mention making prasadam and all the other activities. Why should a path towards God's mercy be so fraught with hundreds of hoops to jump through. Just the anxiety of trying to 'get it right', makes the workaday world look like a walk in the park. And then there's the guru initiation thing...the deepest briar patch of complications and dangers. ** Well that pretty much exhonerates all the religionist hubris in dealing with those they consider fools for not being 'in the know', not in their fold. That exclusivity is just ego on a collectivist scale. I consider Jesus to be my guru, as much as Prabhupada, but that doesn't mean I accept everything self-proclaimed disciples do or say. That would really make me a fool. ** Christianity is simpler <hr style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --> I'm going to continue with my Christian faith. There is still some corruption but it doesn't demand total subjugation of one person by another. Nobody should have that kind of power. And it's not so damn complicated. <hr style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --> How do you know? What they make of the guru in their imagination doesn't change the fact that they're human. ** Well my Guru is Jesus. He doesn't ask for prostration. Doesn't watch for ritual offenses. Forbids me to 'surrender' to any human as 'teacher/father' (guru). If the guru is merely supposed to lead, to enlighten, what's up with the surrender. Why should I jump when he barks? ** Quote: <table border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody><tr> <td style="border: 1px solid rgb(102, 102, 102); padding-left: 3ex; padding-right: 3ex;" bgcolor="#e0e0e0"> And why is idolatry bad? I can't prostrate to a statue of Krishna? </td> </tr> </tbody></table> <!-- END TEMPLATE: bbcode_quote --> You can do whatever your conscience dictates. I will not do it. The first commandment forbids idolatry. You are discrediting an entire religion because of one book - and that is the mark of a fundamentalist (which is a bad thing, by the way). </td> </tr> </tbody></table> <!-- END TEMPLATE: bbcode_quote --> Actually the Bible isn't just one book. It is a compilation of many many texts over several centuries. Bhagavad Gita is also one book. Likewise, just because the SB says that MahaVisnu laid down in the ocean breathed out universes doesn't mean he did. If you believe it you are a fundamentalist, of course. <!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: bbcode_quote --> Quote: <table border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody><tr> <td style="border: 1px solid rgb(102, 102, 102); padding-left: 3ex; padding-right: 3ex;" bgcolor="#e0e0e0"> Can it also be said that simply because Frodo took the ring to Mt.Doom that it is also true? You're acting on blind faith, not reason. This gets you nowhere, however comforting it may be to derail another's religion. </td> </tr> </tbody></table> <!-- END TEMPLATE: bbcode_quote --> No blinder than you for accepting that a statue is God.
  9. I would like to start over with you and extend a hand of friendship. We needn't agree on various philosophical ideas but the name calling most stop. I apologize for my harshness. I completely accept and apologize for any harshness on my part as well..! Jai Radhe
  10. Thiest, you jumped to quickly to insult me when I was only being sarcastic about cbrahma in LA, yet you run to defend his complete nonsense. You want to lump all initiated devotees in with the arrogant bastards that destroyed my Gurujis movement, sorry you don't know me pal, at all!
  11. Srila Prabupada was always very PROUD of his initiated disciples, Those of you who minimize his giving of initiations are insulting HIM directly!
  12. gimme a break, sounds good on paper, but I think you need to practice what you preach.
  13. My response is very approproiate for this numbskull cbrahma who is making a total fool of himself along with his nasty attitude to Vaishnavas. BTW, what is YOUR devotional background, 'forums'? please answer VERY specifically
  14. I lived as a brahmacari in the Winnipeg temple under Rocana dasa and later on in New Dwarka under Gopala bhata and then Rameswara. Just see not even the infamous Rameswara would accept you as a disciple, this explains alot! Gopala Bhatta was my Guru Bhai from Detroit from way back before he was TP in LA (BTW he sent for me be his assitant in LA) so I guess you must have been one of those we didn't pay much attention to, what was your name then, Bhakta Louie?
  15. This guy was never part of any temple or sanga, he is just an armchair wanna be quoting from veda base and wants to annoy people for attention to feed his jealousy of never having contact with a Sad-Guru. His whole presentation is a fabrication and Prabupada would be the 1st to slam him if he was around for the way he speaks to Vaishnavas and twists his words that have already been twisted by the power hungry!
  16. Talk about puffed up! As I said your lack of understanding of Gaudiaya Siddhanta is so very obvious no matter how much you whine and squeal and offend Vaishnavas. And I say again you never had PROPER sadhu sanga, it's obvious by the crazy things you say. You really should get off your horse and try understanding a bit from those who do know a thing or two and stop this pretense, go to Braja Dham (I know it hurts your ego to admit you have never been, but it's obvious) it would do you a world of good and help you stop all this twisting of Srila Prabupadas words to fit your made up philosophy and ego.
  17. All cbhrama is showing here is his complete lack of understanding regarding Gaudiya Siddhanta and that he has never really had any proper sadhu sanga. There are many qualified Gaudiya Vaishnava sadhus outside Iskcon he could benefit from having association with as either Siksha or Diksha Gurus. When Srila Prabupada left the, "Prabupada said Wars" started right away" one group clinging to certain statements and others clinging to something else. Again this is why Srila Prabupada stressed Guru Shastra Sadhu so very often as well as taking association of advanced Vaishnavas.
  18. Ok Mahaks excellent post brought me back! Thing is Srila Prabupada stressed over and over again the importance of Guru, Shastra, Sadhu. Meaning that whatever a Guru says must be supported by Shastra and Sadhu. Not that one can take words here and there from the Guru during walks or letters that he may have very well said to someone yes, but that does not mean it was meant as a general instruction for the community of Vaishnavas at large. Prabupada stressed the importance of a bone fide Gurus words being backed up by scripture and specifically in our line the conclusions of the Gosvamis. Please consider the words of Rupa Gosvami: (Upadeshamrita) kRSNeti yasya giri taM manasAdriyeta 'Mentally honour those who just say ‘KRSNa' And after that he says: dIkSAsti cet praNatibhiH 'Bow down to those who do have dIkSA.'
  19. Kulapavana, Don't waste your time with such people, obviously they have never had any real sadhu sanga, don' let them suck you into such idiotic debates. I myself am out of here, apraradha and sadhu ninda are being comitted here friends.
  20. 'Like A lightening Bolt' Hows that? you never were part of one either I guess and want to minimize all who did too huh. Sad indeed.
  21. cbrahma says: "The formality has no potency in itself." You obvioulsy were never part of one, otherwise you could not say such a thing! We who did on the other hand know differently.
