"I firmly believe in these words of My spiritual master, and therefore I always chant the holy name of the Lord, alone and in the association of devotees. That holy name of Lord Krsna sometimes causes Me to chant and dance, and therefore I chant and dance. Please do not think that I intentionally do it. I do it automatically."

All Glories to Guru & Gauranga!

I am not sure, so I cannot say, also I don't wish to participate in the forum anymore, I would rather read Prabhupada's books for now, not that I am saying anything bad about this Forum, but for my own personal advancement, I need to do this, on a side note - I learn more from reading One Hour from the Srimad Bhagavatam that I do from coming here (recently have been reading with more zest) for x amount of time, I am not a very clever person as well, so I don't bring much to the disussions that go on, anyway I digress (ha), so Please Accept my humble obeiences, and Preach away!! Love you all.

Please Pray for me also, with out which I cannot do anything. Hari!

  3. Srimad Bhagavatam 1.9.18 Purport (excerpt)

The living entities are expansions of His marginal energy, and thus they are sometimes bewildered by the internal energy and sometimes by the external energy. By internal energetic bewilderment, Sri Krsna expands Himself into unlimited numbers of Narayanas and exchanges or accepts transcendental loving service from the living entities in the transcendental world. And by His external energetic expansions, He incarnates Himself in the material world amongst the men, animals or demigods to reestablish His forgotten relation with the living entities in different species of life. Great authorities like Bhisma, however, escape His bewilderment by the mercy of the Lord.

While reading the above it came to my mind, that does the Internal Energy of Lord Krishna even bewilder devotees who are devote to Lord Vishnu, as in they cannot understand even Lord Krishna?

Also knowledge of Paramatma (lord Vishnu is four handed form) is Partial knowledge of Krishna, so from this point the above would make sence, any comments? would be appreciated!

    Hare Krishna

I have found out that some devotees even without being Initiated use the affix Das & Devi Dasi at the end of their names, I mean I am not debating their devotion, by why use this affix when you haven't been actually given it yet?

    I do not understand.

  5.

    ok?

It was good while it lasted at least, I think Lord Krishna is saying something, don't know what though!

I would never think you'd try to delete me from you Pallist /images/graemlins/wink.gif, not like it hasn't happended before /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/crazy.gif /images/graemlins/confused.gif I can say one thing Priita Mata, the mis-understandings that go in cyber-world can give you a right head-ache, so maybe its not a bad thing you don't have Paltalk anymore /images/graemlins/ooo.gif

    Lecture Excerpt

    New York, August 25, 1966

    Srila Prabhupada on Lord Buddha.

How Krishna becomes atheist? But that is Krishna's concern, but we have to study what He is doing. One side He is acting as atheist, that is His policy. That is also explained in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, sammohaya sura-dvisam [sB 1.3.24], just to teach other atheists, he has become atheist. Because he had to preach among other atheist class of men, He became an atheist, "Yes, there is no God. Now believe me what I say.Yes, sir, I shall believe." But He is God. (end)

If you saying should I feel sorry for you then yeah I do, are you a Athiest? I have no idea if you are or not, but its Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu order to preach this mission of Krishna, so it should be taken up by all. Goodday.

I think the word to be used should maybe be the 'whatever' Important key verses' to say the MOST Important verses from the Gita, like Pritta Mata said, she needs quote from Prabhupada (hehe), I am sure the lists must come from Prabhupada when he preached, not sure though, thus I can see why there are called the MOST Important verses..hari!

    Hare Krishna

I am no expert, but it is explained a little in the www.asitis.com Bhagavad-Gita As It Is, the process of Pranayama is used for specifically to link with Krishna, uniting/yoga, linking process, only a few can do this in this age, in previous ages the life expectency was much longer, but in this age peoples are lazy and dull, so the reccommeded process is chanting the Holy names of Krishna!

  10.

    Hare Krishna

Our love is geared towards Krishna, which in turn automatically makes us love all peoples, making it perfect, If you ask me to respect Athiests then yes in my body language I may, but in my mind i am disgusted with you.

    Perfect Questions, Perfect Answers

Chapter Three, The Real Goal of life.

Bob: When I pray reverently, faithfully, does Krishna hear me?

    Srila Prabhupada: Yes.

    Bob: From me to Him?

Srila Prabhupada: Yes, because He is within your heart He is always hearing you-whether you are praying or not praying. When you are doing some nonsense, He is also hearing you. And when you pray, that is very good-welcome.

Bob: To Krishna's ear, is praying louder than nonsense?

Srila Prabhupada: No. He is all-perfect. He can hear everything. Even if you don't speak, even if you simply think, "I shall do it," then He hears you. Sarvasya caham hrdi sannivistah: Krishna is seated in everyone's heart.

    Hare Krishna

I have been thinking about the following association of kind devotees..

    #Forums

#Internet chat rooms (Paltalk) which has mike facility

    #On the phone

#Letters (i.e like SP wrote to Disciples)

    #Phycical association

    #Lectures on tape

    #Bhagavatam Book etc

    ====

So my question is, from the above list the first two Items seem to me could be replaced simply with Listening to Lectures and reading books, what do kind devotees think about this?

Ps. also I feel the first two Items are used mainly for preaching, hare krishna

    Hare Krishna

Even after hearing of this (not knowing about bhakti-yoga then), I had no idea about Hare-Krishna's, I was thinking that the Manor was just another Hindu Temple, maybe I should get off my arse and preach in my own town!

    Please Bless me /images/graemlins/smile.gif
