  1. Hi everyone. I'm reading a book right now called "Arrow of the Blue Skinned God" and it mentions that in India there was a television series based on the Ramayana that aired every week. Does anybody here know if that series is available on videocassette? And if so, where can I get it. thanks. Mark

  3. Thank you, gHari, for posting that. It's nice to read the poetry of His Divine Grace. It's very inspiring. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the thread but it will have to wait until tomorrow. It's late and I should go to bed. Hare Krsna. Mark
  4. Hi. Thanks for the reply. I was hoping somebody would give me an answer like that. Do you know of any possible way I could locate a gathering area. That would be great if I could. Mark

    Buddha

Please disregard my question on this thread. I feel rather foolish for having asked it after I found that this discussion has already taken place in another thread by Vinay. I think I can probably find the answer to my question somewhere in there. Thanks. Mark
  6. Can anybody here tell me how the Buddha is viewed by those who follow Hinduism? Is Buddha considered an avatar? I'd especially like to know what Srila Prabhupada thought of Buddhism. Any replies will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mark
  7. Does anybody here happen to know if there is a temple anywhere around the Missoula Montana area? I'm thinking there is probably not but you never know. Thanks. [This message has been edited by mark (edited 12-19-2001).]
  8. Dear Shvu, It is most refreshing to hear a point of view such as yours. It is one which I wholeheartedly agree with and always have. I think it is so very important to read other translations of the Bhagavadgita as well as the Srimad Bhagavatam in order to gain a more lucid understanding of the messages they hold for mankind. Srila Prabhupada did some great work in his translations but we must remember they are only his translations. By cross-referencing with other translations we can see the similarities and thus come away with a better understanding of the intended message of Lord Krsna. Thanks again. Mark
