How can we predict job change? And moreso, if the change is for the

better or worse?

Hi Souvik,

 

Tough question...Infact I am looking for an answer too from the

learned Gurus but I can definitely give you few pointers.

 

5th house in Dasamsa being 8th from 10th is house of transformation

and its period can give changes. Prayantra of 5th lord in udu dasa is

specifically used for timing job changes. However there can be

execeptions which I am not completely aware of as I have not seen this

rule working always.

 

4th from Sun and 10th from Moon in Dasamsa are important as well. You

can listen to Visti's lecture on Profession at srigaruda.com

Dear Souvik and Sameer,

Rasi, Dasamsa, Navamsa and annual TPC needs studying in detail to time job/career changes.

I will briefly outline the principles as I understand them:

 

1.In Rasi, study 10th lord from Moon: sign and bhava of placement- shows type of work and where eg in a movable sign in dushthana- works abroad

2.Study Navamsa dispositor of above: AD/MD of this can give major career change, its nature and placement decides the type of change

3.Study artha trikona in Dasamsa: 2,6,10 H: stronger one gives career direction/change, 6H vs 7H for service vs business

5.Study 4 th from AL in Rasi: shows direction of change

6.For promotion study 10 th from Sun and 5H in D10

7.For work availability , study Udu maha dasa and 4 th from Sun in D10

8.Study 5H in D10 for job transformation/change; apply argalas

9.Timing of event in D10 by AD from Moon & PD from lagna, check with Narayana dasa of D10,

10.Further study TA dasa in annual TPC: study these in respect to the arudhas - these show the tangible events

 

Udu dasa will show state of mind of native, PD shows the event as seen from lagna

Narayan dasa shows the environment/resources, can show timing of event accurately

TA dasa works well in TPC

To add to Sameer, here are a few examples from my

chart.

 

August 10, 1972 18:33 PM Bangalore

 

1. Chandra is Ashtama in my chart so as told by Guru

Sanjay ji, I have been using

Vimsottari from the Utpanna Tara Dasa. This works very

well. Also since I

have Guru in Dhanush Narayana Dasa also works

excellantly both in Rasi and Vargas.

 

2. The antara dasa of the Navamsa Dispositor of Surya

gives lot of resource

(Village Jyotish Principle refer Vistiji on his

site)

In my case, the AD of Guru-Rahu was very good,

especially since I moved to the West Coast

(Kumbha ruled by Rahu and Sani). This is in the

Vimsottari.

 

3. 4th from Surya in Dasamsa again is Kumbha, so it

coincides with # 2 above.

 

4. 10th from Chandra person will be looking

desperately for Job(Vistijis Dasamsa Lecture)

In My Guru-Surya Antardasa, I was laid off and did

not find work for 4 months, then I got

a State Government Job(Surya) which paid way below

my skill level. Later after 2 months I

quit and got a little better one at a retail

company in April 2002.

 

5. My current job ends August 3. Guru-Rahu-Surya PD.

5th house as Sameer said

is 8th from 10th so Transformation. PD should be seen

from Lagna, AD from

Chandra and MD from Surya.

 

So can anyone predict if i will get another job

immedietly or will I be on " bench " .

How to analyse the PD of Chandra which is both in MKS

and Neecha?

 

I think there is a Jaimini Sutra about both Neecha

and Uccha planets giving money.

Shukra is 10L from Chandra, in 6H,shows you will get work abroad and not in native land.

You are now running Makar ND in D10, this will give effect towards the end, which is 2007-2008. Deb benefics in Kendra do give anxiety, retro may cancel that effect also may be you have to put in more effort.

However it is the Makara sign which will predominate now, its lord is Sa well placed in the house of service 6H and aspects 5H of transformation.

TPC of 2007, shows lagna lord Mars in 6H of service, it is also hora lord of the year. You will have its dasa from mid sept to mid october 2007. There will be obstructions but this time may be best to seriously look and find a job.

Shiva panchakskshri will help make this auspicious.

I think in the 2007 TPC, Mangala is in the 7th not in

6th. Could you please recheck. How would that change

the situation? Will it bring more relationships?

Dear Srinivasa

 

Sharat Ji was reffering to the D-10 TPC as per my understanding and

there it is so that the Mars who is the Hora lord is placed in the

6th house of Service. Now as i understand this concept, I might wish

to add that Prasara teaches us that moon lords the hour or a Mahurata

therefore the Hora lord in any chart is representing the place the

focus of the mind will be. Now you can see that in the D10 chart the

hora lord is in the 6th house and that shows that you will focus your

mind on some service especially during the dasa of the Hora lord.

 

In the Rasi chart we can see the overall effect on the native and

here the hora lord is in the 7th house and that can indicate some

fighting that you might have to see during the dasa of the same. Mars

is in a Marana Karaka Sthana there and that can show that you might

be compelled to fight in some relationships. Hanumaan Worship as

Ramaduuta is said to be very good for that placement of Mangal.

 

Mars is aspecting the 10th house with Graha Drishti and that can

certainly give some focus in the 10th house from the Rasi chart and

at this point we see the D10 of the TPC and see what is actually

happening there. My belief is that we can only analyse the relevent

varga if the Rasi is giving some clues first. I know that there are

some sentiments regarding that but thats just my belief.

 

Infact there is a dharma Karmadhipati yoga in your 10th house Rasi

TPC and basically a number of other Raja Yogas like Vishnu Yoga,

Shiva Yoga etc are being formed there, i would say wear the colors

suggested for Leo Rasi by visti Ji to give enough resources for your

Raja Yogas to fructify. Expect a year with plenty of knowledge, and

doing some good Karma for the world.

It does not work in my case, I had a major job change in Me - Mo - Mo

and A10 is in Cancer and Me and Mo are in the 10th house and that is

Li so they are in the 4th from AL.

Me Mahadasa - Me is amsesh of 10L from Moon, while Moon is 10L from

Moon, Moon is also in 10H, so Mahadasa, Antara and PD nicely work from

Natal chart. Was it connected to some investments? You have Yoga for

money from investments.

 

From Narayana Dasa is more easy: I believe it was Vi-Ar (please

confirm). Vi period (middle portion belongs to Lord), Mercury is in

tenth bhava with 10L from Moon and as 11L from AL. Ar AD aspects GL and

AL, and its lord of AL. Then do You have Aries D10 Lagna also?

Thanks for the clarification but infact I was commenting on the

earlier post by Soul sadhaka where he was mentioning the positions

from A10 and that did not work.

 

Again as in the other post that I made, where can i get the reference

for these planet to planet Yogas. You mentioned that Mo-Me is money

from investments how and why and where to find this list or to derive

this.

 

I have seen your papers before and if there is any such list with you

it will be very useful in analysis.

 

It was Li-Vi. So Libra activated the 10th from the moon and Virgo

activated the 9th house and Sun. The new job involved more

travelling.

 

The first job was Li-Ge and that also activated similar Yogas. but

there it had debilitated Ke and Sa also there and i was actually

hanging around with those kind of people at that time. Headless and

Party kind of people.

Dear Sharat,

 

I came very close in fetching a new job recently but things dint

move ahead in the end. It was during 5th house parayantra in D-10

(Me-Ma-Sa) using Dwi-saptatisama dasa.

 

Do you see any particular reason for this from Dasamsa or TPC ?

Handling large switches and troubleshooting them,they are the

telephone exchanges.

 

Oct 1 1997. Moved to delhi from Chandigarh and joined another company

in the same field. But this job involved international travel

 

Oct 2000, Moved to the philippines as a visitor and then from Jan 2001

started to work there on the roles of the same company's office in

philippines like an international transfer

 

9 Feb 2004. Moved to australia in a similar fashion with an

international transfer. Working here since.

 

I have tried to rectify my chart but some of the changes dont make

sense. This time is the closest that I could get. I mean changing the

lagna in this chart does not justify me not in business and no

July 1995 First Job. Customer Support Engineer. Telecommunications.

Handling large switches and troubleshooting them,they are the

telephone exchanges.

 

Oct 1 1997. Moved to delhi from Chandigarh and joined another company

in the same field. But this job involved international travel

 

Oct 2000, Moved to the philippines as a visitor and then from Jan 2001

started to work there on the roles of the same company's office in

philippines like an international transfer

 

9 Feb 2004. Moved to australia in a similar fashion with an

international transfer. Working here since.

 

I have tried to rectify my chart but some of the changes dont make

sense. This time is the closest that I could get. I mean changing the

lagna in this chart does not justify me not in business and no

intention of doing on either..

Dear Tarun,

I have seen that dasas bring about/force certain changes on career along with gochar of Saturn/Rahu/Jupiter. It does seem that these are not really intentional from native's point of view.

Thats why I look at the annual TPC Rasi and D10 carefully to time job changes. Along with this ND of D10 works well too. Of course natal Rasi must be gleaned for any curses/transits which may reflect events. Navamsa disp of 10L of natal rasi chart also plays a crucial role.

I think this technique is used by Shri

Narasimha. He also adds that if the planet that gives the change (one that

is associated with dusthana from A10) is well placed from AL, the change

will be for better.

I remember PVR saying that dushtana planets from A10 in D10 during MD/AD give job change.

I checked with my mother and she said that it is highly unlikely that

the time was after 4 as would be with the gemini lagna in the d10.

 

Also my first kid is a girl and with that lagna the first kid should

be a boy. (D-7) lagna is changing.

 

Second thing is that I got married on the 30 july 1998. Now if you

will take that birth time the lagna falls in Gemini and that does not

justify me getting married in Me-Mo-Ve dasa.

 

This was my second serious relationship in life. Me lords my second in

navamsa 8th from the 7th. Moon is the 7th lord in Rasi and Venus is

the lord of UL(formal ceremony) in the Navamsa. All fits well.

 

With the new lagna can we justify these events
