Dear Eminent Astrologers,

While studying the Parashara System, for the interpretations for

bhavesh of the lagna kundali. I like to know the importance of Lomesh

Samhita, Yavana Jataka and Garga Samhita. Among these three which one

is more accurate in depicting the bhavesh of lagna kundali. Does it

co-relates with the B.V Raman's parashara system.???

If No then please tell me most accurate methods in calculating

predictive astrology.

Thanks & Tc,

Gaurav

Dear Gaurav,

Unfortunately I haven't read much of B.V. Raman (except for a little

book on AshtakaVarga and his 'three hundred important combinations')

Also the three classics you refer to are not in my library so I cannot

comment on them either, sorry! What I can advise is that the commentary

on house lords (bhavesh) in the classics is generally quite sparse and

doesn't differ much from one to the other.

I have listed some books on JyotishVidya.com that might be of help to

you. http://jyotishvidya.com/recommend.htm

Perhaps other members can advise you more :-)

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Dear Gaurav,

Lomesh, Garg, Parashar etc. were all

giants of their times and fields. It

would not be proper to put any query asking

whose work is more accurate. I would say

that the work of every such giant is worth

our study. It would be preferable

that a discerning student of astrology

first read a author properly,

then move on to the other

authors one by one, so that he himself can

know the diffeence in styles of each.

Though the basic essence in content would

remain same undoubtedly.

I would personally not comment on such

greats and earmark any scale of measures

for the accuracy in their works.

Once you have gone through these Books, please

let us know what is your approval and ideas

about each , with reference to what each is

presenting.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.
