may 1956 at Papanasam (79E17,10N56) in Tamilnadu, India.

Can anyone please analyse his horoscope? His time of birth is not

known to me.

the 1st house in which case you would find all the three trine lords

exalted.

All,

His star is thiruvadira ( same as Adi Sankara ,month

and nakshtra).

I think it is Dhanu Lagna. He has a younger sister.

His mother died on Nov 9th 1999 ,when he was in

Varansi. His father is a famous astrologer. He has 3

nephews. He started AOL in 1981. He is a disciple of

Maharishi Mahesh yogi. he was with him for 10 yrs.

I agree with panditarjun. Trines are very important for spirituality. I was

also thinking for Aries, Leo and Sagittarius Lagna as all trinal lords are

exalted then. Birth details seem to be convincing if we see at the exalted

planets and then Shadbala. Such a strong Sun in Shadbala is rarely seen.

Mars is even stronger.

If we know about other details of his personal life including his married

life, we can try to ascertain his lagna further.

Dear Praveen,

If we take the suggestion of Arjun ji, as Birth Time in the moring

(as he said near to 5.50 AM) then the birth star is Mrihasira. But

Sridhar ji states that his star is thiruvadira. These statemets

contradict.

At least somebody should ask his father, whether Guruji Sri Sri

Ravisankar was born in morning or evening.

Some of the members of this forum will have that info from news

reports, or from interviews the journalists conducted with his father

etc. Let us try to collect that first hand info if possible.

It is not good to place our "guess" on such a great personality,

when a chance for getting direct info is already present.

3) Ma should be in Kendras or Konas. I too agree with your statement

on Shadbala streangth.

just explaining the situation, and not making any "guesses", and just

notifying the point that it is better to wait for the exact Birth

time or at least the data such as the birth look place in morning-

noon-evening-night etc or the like.

Dear Forum Members,

One astrologer (from reliable source) had told me

that he had seen his chart, that the Nakshatra is Arudhra. He did not

tell me the lagna.

My guess is the chart could have Leo lagna with sun as AK in aries and

time could be 12:45 afternoon. A10 and A9 falls in 12th house in

Karaka with exalted jupiter - showing profession manifest to world as

spiritual leader (satguru) and founder of the organization.

Look forward to input from other members.

Dear Praveen,

One more question. What about a person born the previous day? i.e.

12th May 1956; 5.00 AM approx, for whom Asc will be Aris and

Nakshatra will be Rohini, and Moon also would be exalted with

Vargothamamsaka. He would have total 4 planets exalted in his

chart.

I am not saying that Guruji was born on that day. Who could be that

person born with 4 planets exalted in chart??!!

As you know 4 planets exalted means it is an Avathara Yoga, rather

than a sanyasa yoga.

Just supplying some pointers... Waiting for the facts to reveal

itself. It could a good subject for discussion, a possible subject of

research in similar lines also should be encouraged. We could not

down the date and time for which 4 or 5 planets were exalted, and

then search for the personalities born on that day, and thus try to

deduce, why they become great or why not.

dear sreenadh ji

you observed rightly that i made a "guess" in giving the sunrise

birth time and the significance of all trine lords in exlatation for

sri sri ravishankar ji. but my mail was an answer to a querent for

which you suggested datamining instead of making any astrologial

surmise. if you could collate any available or unavailable data you

may like to share the same. if i am wrong, i stand corrected with

humility.

however, i personally do not believe that any one person is great

and another inferior, hence our guessing on the birthtime of AOL

founder whose individual entreprenuership figured as case studies in

business schools, is no sacrilege. the all pervading, all

permeating god is within sri sri ravishankar, yourself and every

human being. we are all are aware of the adi shankaracharya and

chandaal samvaad in kashi.

Hare Rama Krishna,

Namasthe Sreenadh Ji,

I have a chart where there are 5 planets exalted in Rasi and one in Navamsa. I

can give you the exact birth details on Monday.

But if you look at a date of around May 3, 2003 with location Hyderabad, you

will notice that Venus,Sun,Moon,Jupiter and Mars are exalted in Rasi and Saturn

is exalted in Navamsa chart.

I would really like to hear what is in store for that boy.He is my friend's

nephew.

That is what I always stress. Subtle points are very important. What

classics state is context specific in application. Astrology is different

from physics or mathematics. You have to read between the lines and see what

can not be seen explicitly. Sound common sense is a must. Exalted planets

remain exalted for many days. How they can always form a good and favourable

yoga having the same effect ? See a few pints regarding your question:

1) Dasa will be different the previous day.

2) Lagnas and planets may change Navamsas and other Varga positions.

3) Moon, a vital factor, will change its Nakshatra and all divisional

positions up to Drekkana. Even Rasi may change.

4) Then there are special points about which we don't know much (or we don't

use), change drastically, like, Ghatika lagna, Pranapada lagna, Mritubhaga

etc.

Remember, it is the moment of birth that makes your destiny, we don't know

everything about it is a different issue.

hi all,

I have 6 charts , of may 1956 where 4 planets or 5 planets are exalted but

these people are working in Indian Army. Can you say something about them.?

Most of the astrologers make it a habit to refer to this

multiplicity of factors, mostly as an escape mechanism, when the logic

does not supply enough answers. They create new logic to explain

things, as you have indicated in your previous mails.

We are not supposed to know or justify everything. It takes courage

All,

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is not married. His father is

said to be astrologer,.esp Medical astrology. He is

said to have cured people based on their horoscopes.

His Sister has released cassettes on Bhajans sang by

her. Sri Sri also knows astrology. other than

meditation, pranyama,yoga,singing, speechs has been

written as books by his disciples. he has main ashrams

in Bangalore, Poland, Germany(Black Forest) and

Montreal,Canada.

What else you need?

Just ask some Teachers like Vajpayee

or else, they will give you Time of birth.

I gone through advance course in Art of living

and have Darshana labha many times of Sri Sri Ravishankerji But

this question never came in my mind. I will try and let you know

this year if Sri Sri Ravishankerji is in Bangalore on his birth day and I get

chance to go there.

In a book it was written that HE is born in Kumbakonam, morning.

I tried 10.30am.

This gives him

Cancer rising, that sounds right for me. He has that good feeling

shy look.

Jupiter is exalted in the first house

Sun is exalted in 10th house

Mars exalted 7th house.

22º 48' Karka. That is what I have got as his Lagna. That means 11.50 a.m..

His place of birth I have got is Papanasam (Thanjavur) TN. I don't know whether these are correct.

Based on his physical characterstics, nature, dasha periods, etc, I would give him a capricorn ascendent. I would give him a birth time of 00.40 hrs.

I understand from other sources, who interact with him, say exactly on midnight of an amavasya day. Only such people have the capability to become great Gurus. I think Mahirishi Yogi, Osho, Valmiki are some examples...

I had the opportunity to meet him in person at Chennai in June 2006 and when I asked him about the Astrology systems and use, the reply was "as long as it does good and mental peace he na... no one can change destiny, but no one stop you from living happy (something like that)".
