Why Saturn in 'Karka' Lagna is termed as Yogakarka ?

Dear Pathak,

 

Saturn in the throne (1st or 10th),in Cancer or Jupiter in the

throne, in Pisces are two planets said to give Raja Yoga to the

natives.

 

Honestly, this relation between Guru & Saturn is something beyond me.

 

Rajayoga is good for power and position. You can think of some

national leaders, who had/have such a placement.

 

Then their married lives also can be analysed. These are separate

things, is it not?

Dear Pathak,

I have not seen Saturn in Karka being reffered to as being Yogakaraka.

Could you point me to relevant quote? Saturn is certainly said to give

good results when in Karka Rasi, the reason being it aspects its own

Rasi which is 7th from Karka. The indications of the 7th house get good

results as the Bhava is strengthened..
