that story has no basis and not found in any of his featuring history notes.

the most important things people have ignored or have not come across is the promises given by Vedas, Upanishads and Puranans regarding Sri Madhwacharya.

He has been quoted and well praised as the third incarnation of Vayu (or Mukhyaprana) in Vedas, Upanishads and Puranans. Some Puranas describe his life-story briefly including his time.(Eg: Vayu Purana-AnuMadhwacharitam, Skanda, Padma...)
Upanishads like Pyngi Shrutis tell about him.
The most important one is the Rig-Veda in its very starting describe him very effectively and is a great authority to believe for anyone that Sri Madhwacharya is undoubtedly the Avatar of Sri Vayu.
Other than this,,, his life-story itself makes clear of this point, such as lifting the large boulder (50 tons) in single-hand, eating 4000 n odd bananas and drinking 30 buckets of milk, and so on...
Thanks for such an exhaustive report on Sri Madhwacharya., wish u write about his everlasting great works on Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharta and others which no other philosopher have done...
