Alcohol Remaining in Cooking - USDA Chart

~ Here is a chart that shows how much alcohol remains in foods after various

cooking methods/cooking times are used. Common belief has been that

" alcohol is destroyed by cooking " . I was surprised to see that this isn't

necessarily true! I've seen other charts that list alternatives to alcohol

in recipes. Water and apple juice are good substitutes. . .and so is

sparkling apple juice! Alcohol can cause health complications

(candida/yeast overgrowth, etc.).
