SATURN RETROGRADE

Dear Friends and Clients,

Saturn will travel retrograde or backwards in motion from November
23.05 until April 6.06. This period lasts about 4 1/2 months and
occurs once a year. Saturn slows things down in his effort to teach
patience, perseverance and tolerance. This is an excellent time to
formulate plans and strategies, and to develop the best method and
approach for any endeavor or project. However, this is not the
optimum time to initiate new projects and undertakings but is best
used to build the foundation and lay the groundwork for your future
plans and enterprises. This will enable you to make the most out of
your future designs as Saturn once again moves forward in motion.

Retrograde Saturn slows down the outward realization of goals. He may
bring postponements, put things on hold and cause unexpected setbacks
in your plans or endeavors. Sometimes, this may be brought about by
unrelated responsibilities or unforeseen commitments in other areas.
Oftentimes, these other responsibilities may be old or neglected
business or incomplete work from the past. Saturn here inspires a
more thorough, methodical and better-organized approach toward
existing projects and circumstances.

This `unfinished business' may demand fulfillment or completion
before you are free to go forward with new ambitions and plans. This
may require your attention on various levels. The obvious level is
the material plane down here on earth. But this could also bring up
unhealed emotional wounds and unresolved psychological issues from
the past. It may trigger deep-seated, repressed emotions or old
behavior patterns which you had hoped were a thing of the past. But
retrograde Saturn has dusted them off and has once again put them on
display, either for your attention alone or for everyone else to see.
Saturn may also redirect you toward your neglected spiritual path and
bring you humbly to your knees in an effort to reenergize your
relationship with God. Why not take advantage of Saturn's
encouragement?

This may not yet be the moment to alter one's present status as more
time is usually required to lay the groundwork for the upcoming
change. Though circumstances may dictate a shift at this time, ask
yourself whether or not you are emotionally and psychologically ready
for such a transition and if the answer is no, then more internal
work and preparation will likely need to be done first. Choose
introspection over extroversion.

It is not advisable to seek more responsibility at this time since
you may likely be saddled with unanticipated burdens and obligations.
As a city cannot expand its level of commerce without an improved
infrastructure, your outward growth and material development will
first require greater internal emotional and psychological strength
to meet the demands of your future expansion. This is the real
benefit of retrograde Saturn.

At this time, Saturn in the sky is in the sign of Cancer. If you have
planets in Cancer in your Vedic birth chart, it may prove to be a
more challenging time for you. If you have a Cancer Ascendant
(lagna), then expect to undergo a physical transformation. If you
have Sun in Cancer, then your health may be affected. If you have the
Moon in Cancer, this may prove a rather difficult emotional time for
you. If you have Mercury in Cancer, then your nervous system will
likely suffer through fear and stress. If you have Mars in Cancer,
you are likely to be at odds with your family. If you have Jupiter in
Cancer, there may be unexpected financial demands. If you have Venus
in Cancer, this may cause a breach in your relationship. If you have
Saturn in Cancer, you are currently undergoing a major change in your
life and resistance would not be your best course of action. If you
have Rahu in Cancer, you may have an overwhelming urge to withdraw
and spend time alone. If you have Ketu in Cancer, old tendencies
toward obsession, compulsion and addiction may be triggered.
