Maharishi asks Indian government to close embassies of USA and UK

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of the Global Country of World Peace, has
asked the government of India and its people to close the embassies of the USA,
UK, and Germany for the country to protect itself from total destruction.

Maharishi said that these embassies are in India to destroy religion and
establish a regime which can act as their puppet. It is their philosophy, which
is also so dear to the present rulers of the country, that the propagators of
religion be put into jails while those opposed to religion are being honoured.

He said that according to their (the US,UK, Germany) own admission, they are in
India to create a divisionless society, which is against the Vedic order. This
is an anti-religious act. As long as these embassies are in India, they will
continue to create havoc in the society.

Describing Indian leadership as lifeless, Maharishi exhorted the people to
overthrow it as soon as possible as he now sees no other option. The ways of the
present government can't be changed and now it is up to the people of India to
get their act together. 'The people of the country have had enough. It is really
a strange paradox that the country, which should have given light to others, has
become dependent on them. It is dependent on the missiles of the West to protect
itself,' he added.

Speaking very seriously about the inability of the government to provide an
effective and efficient administration for the nation, Maharishi said that the
government is getting over-dependent on law enforcing agencies and the judiciary
to bring its mess into order. India is now heading towards a point when Indians
would kill Indians. 'We have seen this during the freedom struggle, when the
English made the Indian policemen beat their fellow countrymen.'

But all is not lost for the country - Maharishi also expressed hoped. The
country has seen troubled times before, and always emerged stronger. He said
that he has established the capitals of Raam Raj all over the world, which will
again establish Vedic Administration in every country, and India too can regain
its old glory.

Maharishi also gave a short comment on the concept of secularism. 'The true
administration should be protective of the religion and culture of the country
and should not be its destroyer.' The one thing secularism has harmed most is
the collective consciousness of the nation.

In his message on the occasion of the Navaratri, Maharishi said that during
these nine days, the devotees can awaken the Devatas (supreme creative impulses)
in their physiology. They can awaken total knowledge by learning the Vedic
concept of silence and dynamism, which is reflected in Lord Shiva and Lord
Vishnu.
