Hindu Council of Kenya Assist Prison Reform
HINDU COUNCIL OF KENYA MOMBASA ASSIST SHIMO-LA-TEWA PRISON http://www.coastweek.com/2631-05.htm ..Coastweek - - HINDU COUNCIL of Kenya, Mombasa Branch under the convenorship of Dr. S.K. Sabharwal have carried out a very successful Medical Camp at Shimo la Tewa Prison. Over 700 patients which included inmates and staff were screened and treated. Free Medication, dental extractions and dispensing of free reading glasses was carried out. Serious cases were referred to Coast Province General Hospital for further treatment. The team of doctors comprised of dentists, Dr. J. D. Shah and Dr. S. Vaghela, Dermatologist Dr. Pancholi, Opthalmologist Dr. N.C. Gupta and ENT Dr. Juma and Dr. S.K. Sabharwal. Provincial Prisons Commander Coast, Mr. Samson Guantai, expressed his sincere thanks to the Hindu Council of Kenya, Mombasa Branch members and all the helpers for a wonderful job done.
