As you metioned "You know you want to be a medical technologist"
Please pursue it and finish it. Just stick with it. This remods of a
story of a great mathematician from Prag. He had a student who could
not make up his mind what branch of mathematics he should study and
spent a few semesters dilly dally. The mathn professor told him
"Son, if your father had waited for the most beautiful woman in the
world to marry, you would never have been born"
