dear friends
as RRji rightly observed, there is one thing common in all these self-less
people. they were all satyavratas i.e. following a self-proclaimed discipline
to speak truth, truth alone, only truth and nothing but truth akin to raja
harischandra of the erstwhile kashi kingdom.
as explained by some gurus, if you speak truth manasa, vacha and karmana
(trikarana suddhi) i.e. you think/contemlate to speak only truth, you indeed
speak truth only and also your actions speak truth as loud as your words.
initially, you would be subjected to all kinds of difficulties, insults, losses
etc. but after some time, he starts feeling eternal bliss and alignment with
truth (god) and whatever the person says it becomes truth. growing with the
habit of speaking truth and going by the practice, whatever he says/predicts
would also become truth, be it future telling or giving blessing or a curse.
unfortunately, this is a process which can only be experienced and not studied.
when the father of our nation wrote "no religioun is higher than truth" he
literally means it. the bible mentions numerous times in various chapters that
TRUTH IS GOD and GOD IS TRUTH.
