respected rafalji,
I have a son 3 years old, because of which i am still in the marriage
but since last 2 years there is almost nothing between me and my wife.
Sun's AD in mercury MD was very bad too. Current AD is moons and it
has become worse.
I would fast on Sunday since leo is my UL. Wearing a ruby would be
helpful too or its a seperative planet and is best to fast?
I am right now wearing a ring having pukhraj and 2 pearls in my ring
finger of right hand. have i to take it off?

fasting for marriage to occur and if marriage has already occurred, then day of
the lord of the 2nd to UL house should be used for sustenance for marraige as
2nd to UL is the "food" for marriage and fasting or "giving" into this house is
auspicious for the purpose of UL.
Ke in the 7H (seat of Ganesha) shows worship of Ganesha is good for marriage.
Keep a picture of Ganesha in the bedroom. In any case, without full judgement
of the entire horoscope, we cannot give remedies for bad marriage just from one
graha or one house.

you had any close relationship, marriage you had prior to this marriage. The
reason I am asking (and I have not looked at your chart yet) is that 8th to UL
shows second marraige, 8th therefrom shows next marriage etc. This is only if
there is a possibility of such marriages. A close prolonged relationship can
also be a marriage. Sorry, if you feel this is a private question to ask, but
for the sake of definiteness I did.

have been following this mail trail which is very interesting and relevant for me.
I have ketu in my 7th. house with my moon. It is a terrible affliction for my
married life a karmic drama that I am seeing unfold and yes for my lovely
daughter trying to sustain the marriage against all odds.
My D.o.b is 30-01-1972 time: 07:09 a.m and place Lucknow
My husband's d.o.b is 31-07-1964 time:15:22 p.m and place :Hyderabad
My daughter's D.o.b is 13-11-2001 time: 23:55 p.m and place: Hyderabad.

The Moon + Ketu combination in the 7th house will not only effect the
marriage it will also give joint pains and urine trouble ; even the
education will either be disrupted or not complete; will adversely
effect the mother. There could be some respite if Jupiter or Mars have
an aspect over the combination otherwise , as the Lal Kitab says, " ma-
beti dono dukhi , grahasthi dukhi jaise taang jale dil phatakta ho"
The best remedy for this `dosh' is to do the Lunar eclipse upaya. For

i am amateur but have observed that ketu creates more obstacles than
rahu. the place where rahu is person is carefree regarding to that
matter but where ketu is it gives much trouble. in my lagna rahu is
there but i dont care about myself but am always too concerned about
my wife. my friend has ketu in lagna is always concerned about himself
and carefree (no problems no worries) for spouse as his rahu is in 7th.
may be i am wrong but just wanted to post my views.

It depends on how you look at it. Rahu in the 1st house is far more
dangerous than Ketu. In the years : 13, 25, 37, 49,61, 73 etc when
the rahu comes to the first house again in the varsh phal {Lal
Kitab } " yeh takhta ko hilaa kar rakh dega"

on the contrary, when Ketu reaches the 1st house during the varsh
phal { Lal Kitab } in the years : 19 , 31 , 43 , 55 ,67 , 74 etc "
ketu chakkar jab takhta ka karata , lekh manda sab uttam ho" even
the bad destiny becomes good.

Ketu is by and large more benevolent as compared to Rahu.

In the 7th house ketu protects the 'vansh'-- progeny and in a way
tries to protect the marriage. It is the Rahu from the 1st which
damages the marriage.

i am new to astrology so i have nothing to say but grasp whatever i
can. be it rahu or ketu it was just few charts which i tried to
study.. when ketu falls in 7th had given problems with spouse while
the other way around rahu in couple of charts the person didnt have
any such problems with spouse. may be i am wrong. may be upapada or
navamsa or many other things might be playing part which i didnt
studied in those horoscopes. the above thing i posted was more of a
question than a statement.
