Default Graha Malika Yoga - 03-22-2005, 04:01 PM

|| Om Namah Shivaaya ||
Dear list members, Namaskar,
I find quite a few references to Graha Malika Yoga in various places (Sri
Krishna had it, for example), but I can't find much information on what
exactly it is and what the results are.
If I understand correctly, Graha Malika yoga is formed between two houses
when planets occupy successive houses from house to house. The
nodes seem to be included here, but on the other hand Sanjayji seems to
exclude them sometimes also. What is the complete
definition?
And what function does this yoga serve?
Thank you,
With reverence to the Gurus,
Samir

Dear Samir,
Namaskar
The Graha
Malika Yoga is a Yoga held in equal esteem with the Kala Sarpa and Kala Amrita
Yogas. It tends to dominate a persons life in a certain direction until the age
of maturity of the Yoga. Also sometimes smaller Graha Malika Yogas function for
only a limited ammount of time.
The focal
point of the Yoga is the planet ending the yoga. That is the goal of the Yoga,
or the purposefor which it was created. Each planet in its order from the
begining will give certain events leading to the goal.

Graha
Malika Yoga includes the nodes, whilst the Maala Yoga’s given in the
Nabhasa Yoga-chapters of most scriptures do not include the nodes. The Maala
Yoga’s also have a different method of interpretation all together.
Best
wishes,

I have a client's chart that seems to have the yoga, but no fame or wealth yet.
Actually no marriage either for her yet.

Birthdata: June 26, 1962, 2:44 am, in town Eldoret, country Kenya = 35' 17 E,
0' 31N

For Graha Malika Yoga has:

Jupiter in 11th
Moon in 12th
Mars in 1st
Mercury in 2nd
Sun in 3rd
plus Venus and Rahu conjunction in 4th, and Saturn and Ketu conjunction in 10th.

Currently running Moon Mahadasa, and Rahu bhukti.

I would be very interested in your opinion.

Dear Visti

You once mentioned that there can be malas as small as three houses
also.
In that case, Guruji has a Grahamalka right? Starts with ketu and
ends with Jupiter!
I always held the notion that for grahamalika five houses is minimum,
but with your old mail, i changed my view.
best wishes
partha
