It's said that Cats are ruled by Sun (some say Mars?), Dogs by
Mercury, Birds by Venus, Horses by Jupiter, and Snakes by Saturn.

Sixth is the house for pets.

PS:
When it comes to "Domesticated" Pets, I would say we should only
consider Cats, Dogs, Horses and (perhaps?) Birds...these are the
domesticated pets that interact most with people. The same sort of
intimate relationship is hardly formed with fish and reptiles.
