I have based my comments on what I found in the ancient texts, and my
experience.There is a shloka to the extent that Saturn protects the Bhava and
Jupiter spoils the Bhava.You would also find that even if saturn may not give
good results of the Bhava in which he is placed, he does not harm it.
There is no doubt his strength, house lord ship etc. would vary the effects. You
will find that Saturn in 8th does not kill a person. Now if someone interpretes
this to mean that he harma the 8th house, then it is only misinterpretation of
the stated principle.

Doesen't that depend on some other factors also (dignity, house lordship etc. etc.)

Saturn always protects the house in which he is posited.So I do not think
miscarriage is indicated.Mars aspect might indicate ceasarian section.You have
not indicated your ascendant, but he could also indicate a male child.
