sloooooooow downloads
This sight is becoming unbearably slow for me. Anybody else in California having problems?

sometimes
maybe its a west coast thing, blue states and all. Sometimes it takes awhile, especially going from the main forums to other sections. But the wait is well worth it, guruvani will wait, even though hes in florida, and if he can wait, so can I. Someone has to have the last word, and it either me or him. Maybe we should patch our lines thru Oh Canada. gHari has a way with these things. Next time Im waiting, Ill browse the KOG site, maybe thats the oil change I need. It has been terribly slow here too, but two days ago my son built me a new computer that is much more powerful and I am having much faster load time for the web pages on the forum. When I had the old computer it was as slow as molasses on this website. I even have DSL. Gosh, I hate to think what somebody on dial-up and an older computer has to go through to keep up with this forum. |

We have removed some animations (for example in signatures and avatars) that might help slower computers with dial up. |
