Dear devotees,

 

 

 

This year ‘Tarana Nama Samvatsara’ is born on Sravana Naksatra and the Adisttana

devata is Sri Venkateswara! Hence we are blessed to organize Koti Deepa Aradhana

to Lord Sri Venkateswara during this Year 21.3.2004 to 8.4.2005

 

 

 

It may please be recalled that, last year for one whole year we conducted Sri

Sudarsana Homam and Sri Venkatesa Maha Kratu at Tirumala Hills under the

guidance of Sudarsana Sriman S.Venkatesa Iyengar Swami. The yagna began on

Swabhanu Ugadi day and concluded on the last day of Swabhanu Year that is

20.3.2004.

 

 

 

With His divine grace, the Kooti Deepa Aradhana was initiated at Tirumala on

Tarana Ugadi day - on 21.3.2004 by His Holiness Sri Vadi Kesari Alagiya Manavala

Jeeyar Swamigal of Sri Kanchipuram by lighting the Maha Deepam at Akhandam in

front of Srivari Temple at Tirumala Hills and offered special prayer

 

What is Kooti Deepa Aradhana and how it is being organized?

 

 

 

Beautiful bronze lamps ‘Chakra deepam’ like Sri Sudarsana Chakra with the image

of Lord at the center is specially made. These deepams will be distributed to

one crore devotees all over India and abroad. Devotees will lit it and offer

prayer in their houses. The Kooti Deepa Aradhana will conclude on Karthika

deepotsavam day that is: 26th Nov.04.

 

 

 

On conclusion of the Deepa Aradhana, Sri Venkatesa Maha Kratu will be performed

at Tirupathi for 9 days in a very grand manner. During the Kratu, we will offer

special prayers for devotees who participated by obtaining the deepams.

 

 

 

We invite you to be the one of those blessed to receive the deepam. Deepa

Daanam is the great daanam as described in Sastras. Hence you can also donate

deepams as gift to your friends, relatives, and as charity to your favorite
