Default Conch Shell Carvings - 12-06-2003, 12:39 AM
Are there any rules as to what can and cannot be carved on a conch shell? Usually they have some flowery designs which are nice. However, I have seen them with carvings of Radha & Krishna. They are very beautiful, but is this proper? After all you are putting the shell to your lips. Would putting the Hare Krsna mantra on it be acceptable?
