Hi everybody

I was told that a home should not to have pictures of chinnamasta on
display.
I would love to hang a picture of chinnamasta in my room.

is there any truth to this?

Thank you for your question. Let me make it simple :

What do you think will happen if you put an outgoing, adventurous and
very active person indoor or confine that person in a room, and
say : this is where you are going to be !

I can think of only one action : she/he will turn bonkers and bring
everything upside down.

If its just to hang, I am not sure, but if you are going to invoke
the energy of Chinnamasta, then it is not adviseable [ in my
opinion ]. From what I am told, there are some DEVI's especially
the
Kali form, is not adviseable to put at home, weather just for
decoration or for prayers.

Few weeks ago a friend visited me. He claim that his grandmother
prayed to Chinnamasta Devi and this is what he have to say :

"This Amman is very powerful. Fierce but powerful. My grandmother
put
her outside of the house near the stream at the back of our house.
Whenever she wants to do her prayers, all children are told to go
inside the house. Prayers only by woman. She would not allow any man
to come near this Amman…… no! no! you cannot bring her inside.
She
will create havoc"

So much about Chinnamasta Devi for now. Maybe when this friend comes,
I will drill him more information.
