After the acrimonious debate on eligibility of Stree for learning or reciting
Vedas, the note on Tripura Sundari by Harsh was a refreshing one. In fact, it
is for these that this Group exist.


On a filip note, I may mention that the Sankaracharyas are the final authority
on Shruti and Smriti and also on traditions. Strangely if it does not suit, we
tend to ignore their wise counsel. Is it correct.
