Online Sanskrit dictionary
Is there an online dic., where one can type a word in sanskrit so it can give an equivalent English word? Also, in other dictionaries, how to find the word we're looking for, when there are so many? |

To answer your question, no. The online resources I have come across, do not take the Sanskrit word in Devangari script. You have to convert it into a transliteration code. That is, the Sanskrit script is represented, by convention, an English letter, or combination of letters...so that अ is "a", and आ is "A".....The translation service you use will usually have the transliteration table they use posted near by. |

No, I meant transliteration, it doesn't have to be in devanagari script. |
