Default Sanskrit "I am that" help

I am tattooing "I am that" in Sanskrit, which I have had translated. The last two "characters" (I am not sure if they are referred to as characters) have a very small space between them, which over time would touch, as a tattoo tends to bleed. I need to know if this will change the meaning? Help!!!
