When I first saw your post, it was already past July 19th, that is why I did not reply.

Is u of Luke pronounced like u of put?
Or, do you give stress on u as in oo of choose?
I guess ke is pronounced like last k of look.

Default bengali - 07-28-2006, 10:18 PM

Hello,

My new bride's name is Trishna, it is a bengali name. The both of us want it translated to bengali script so i can get a tatt of it. Her Mom wrote it in pen, but it doesn't look too good. There are also some Bollywood movies with Trishna in the title, but I can't find a clean good pic.

If you could translate to Bengali script that would be very nice.

Thanks
Ryan

Default Meaning of 'akshata' - 08-05-2006, 07:15 AM

Sorry, I forgot to put the meaning of Akshata in my previous post. Akshata means something which is not broken or not damaged in any way. Often rice is offered to God in worship. That rice is also known as akshata.
