JAI GURUDEV,

after fairly going through the recent messages the following are
the...
1)arvind i really appericiate and laud ur new site content
capabilites continue.....

2)what all of us understand is that the new site will always serve as
the complementary to the main site(siddhashram.org)
so the new site has to assist the main site and the 2 purposes are
1)dissemminating knwoledge
2)acting as a forum for discussions

so we will be assiting the mainsite by providing the archived content,
as the mainsite would have a link to this new site

so new topics should be listed with recent few articles in the
mainsite and the archive of it
should be put in new site(all the more info content on the main site
should be handled by this new site)

we see the mainsite(siddhasharam.org) the archive consists of only
few magazines which dont have all the info needed to various people
so we have to get as much magazines as possible and put it on archive
and second thing is that archvie is not only magazines its 1)my
experiences with divintiy 2) my meeting with Gurudev and similar
stuff as present in the main site and additon of new categories as
propesed by arvind

when u look at the experiences they are really few in the website so
there should be lot more
so i think u all understand the archives depth and breadth

so new categories should be compiled and given to Gurudev so that he
can approve as to what can be included and we have to get the content
for already existing categories by looking 1) magazines2)noting down
the experiences of the people by talking to them

besides what i see as per ashish is that he told he has 30 MEGS
avilable i think its not at all sufficient for all the
pdf/video/audio stuff

so we have to plan long term and try to accumulate money for more
space either by buying resource/renting so the current webisite is
really a temprory solution

if we try to register multiple names it becomes messy to update but
its still a good solution if we resources dont permit us
so for longterm needs can any one think of it seriously and give
theri views
i agree that books out of print should be found out and scanned,
and with publications legal issue few essential chapters can be
scanned
so try to find out what are the 600 books and probbaly GURUDHAM would
have info as to what are they and how to get it which books can be
scanned and which cannot and for those cannot what are the chapters
that should be selected only contacting GURUDHAM should solve the
problem
so what we do is to categorise the things that are to be done and
contact Gurudham for further instructions

dissemminating knowledge ( i think people are not thinking much on
this , becos before u want to get into sadhana seriously u have to go
thru lot of content and references and that should be free)
Gurudev told to buy magazines cheaply and asked them to distribute
and that to free(GYAN DAAN) and he never told Diksha free , so when
DIksha is given he will do DHAN DAAN
all the audiences will not be willing to pay for the content
initially, so we have to win their trust.

so magzines have to be given away for free and people influenced by
the articles would start enquiring as to how to start doing it or
start asking questions as to what is x?y?z?
so all of should understand the pattern first
a)by providing the content we are inviting them to take a deep look
if they are influenced the b)the enquiry process starts as to what is
this and that
1)glossary that can be printed serves and 2) starters faq will help
like the glossary can be pretty picturesqe rather than being just
descriptive

so i hope u understand the purpose in the real sense

Jai Gurudev !!!

1. Answers to different questions which a beginner may encounter.

2. Yes its important that we archive the old issues of magazine as well as
the books which are out of print.

3. in order to keep the list active n we be burning with spiritual fire
why don't we start posting messages regarding Gurudev's life n
knowledge and quotes by him and articles full of his love towards us.

4. All the academic qualification, laurels and achievements of Pujya
Gurudev be documented. Rather his life.

5. Keep a section on WebPage which states the latest developments in
Science that confirms the existence of spiritual pratices.

Yes its important that we get the list of 600 books.

Anuragji has raised some very good points about correlation with
scientific developments (eg. audio research, Mantra therapy, Use of
Hypnotism in surgery etc.). Moroever, we can also find, bring in and
put articles on Pujya Gurudev on this. eg. someone once told me that
a leading Nepalese publication had printed an article on
relationship/dialogue/Diksha session between Paramhans Swami
Nikhileshwaranandji & Jesus.

Birendraji is right about more graphical content in FAQ. A picture is
worth a thousand words!

Audio-video & more space. My two cents worth - I think that we limit
our current scope to an achievable standard. We can think about audio-
video in long term, but let us start with a simple, basic thing and
build it later. Let us try to concentrate on simple things first.
Moroever, someone can do a bit of research on latest audio-video
technlogies, and come up with a technical solution on how to
implement this. web speed is still very slow for joe-public , and
very few people (except some fortunate ones with high bandwidth due
to office connections/isdn line) can download audio-video in
presentable format. People are finding difficulty in downloading the
current graphics itself. multimedia is a developing technlgy , and
cool stuff is being developed. An alternative cud be to develop some
good presentation using flash etc. We can keep it in mind as a long
term strategy and check its feasibility.

Similarly, lets start with the 30 meg odd space currently available.
let us fill this space with more personal articles (experineces, info
on Gurudev, scientific correlation, tips etc.) rather than flashy
video! Gurudham is already uploading mags & books. Let us do
something else to complement that, from a Sadhak's perspective. We
can always move to additional webspace or get more space if we need
it in future.

Ashishji, have a look at the www.indiatalking.com They manage various
discussions among multiple people, and it is very convenient, because
a person doesnt need a user id/password to give his/her comments.
What do u think of a uploading structure similar to this. We cannot
limit uploading to a select group of individuals. People give
comments on an impulse. And in future, this discussion list will have
hundreds nay thousands of members, and it will be difficult to manage
allocation of userid/password. What do u think?

Those discussion groups are on general topics, but ours is a special
one. We must also preserve the quality and standard. With no access
control, anyone, who comes across, will be able to post anything and
we won't able to control the transformation of a filter into a junk
yard. Remeber what Shrivastavji said yesterday? We must proceed with
caution.

My current website, www.hostwhois.com, has 226 members with about 750
complicated, huge and hard to manage plans. I handle them
successfully without harming the integrity of the site.

Jaya Guru Dev !

I am from Kathmandu and am not aware of any article published on Nepali
Media, would any one who is aware or heard of this please give me more clue
so that I can avail the article and post it for discussion.

Based on this interaction we should also have a section on Country Report.
Which would include details of the following:

Active Organisations performing Sadhana with Guidance from Guru Dham.
Active Organisations performing Sadhana without guidance from Guru Dham.
(there are many local registered organizations set up in Nepal which do not
directly take instructions from Guru Dham).
In active organizations
Individuals categorised as mentioned above.

Another section should include :
Guide Lines for Hosting Sadhana Camps.
and Reports on such Camps after the shivir.
