Default Wealth/Prosperity - 11-15-2001, 08:01 PM

Hello, Everyone. I'm delurking to ask a "mundane" question.

Has anyone here done the procedure for prosperity where you alternately
hit the sides of your hands together, and chant "Har"? (This is
described at the Dasvandh.org site.)

If so, I'd appreciate some clarification on the mantra's pronounciation
and it's timing with the hand movements. (A success story would also be
nice.) <g>

I would also like to hear about other ways Kundalini Yoga practitioners
can fatten their wallets, as a recent car repair has somewhat deflated
mine. :-)

Thank you all for your input. -- Thomas

Say "Har" as the hands hit each time. The pronunciation of "har" : the "ha"
part is pronounced like ha, ha, ha, like you are pretend laughing. The "r"
is made vibrating the tip of the tongue on the hard palate behind the top
teeth. Sort of like the rolling "r" in Spanish but not as long in duration.
I have not done this meditation for 40 days, but I did the Green Energy Set
for 40 days and I've never had to worry about money since. The goal of a
prosperity meditation is not to pad your wallet. It is more about being open
to what the universe has to offer you. Open yourself so that you are able to
receive.

Hi Thomas,
I'm not familiar with that exact meditation. I've done a slightly different
version in class and on my own from easy pose, arms extended straight out to
the sides & parallel to the floor, bringing them in and across the body in
an alternating scissors motion on each "har". The tongue presses the roof of
the mouth behind the front teeth on the "r", which produces a sound more
like a soft "d". We chant along with the Tantric Har recording by Simran
Kaur, which has great percussion and very high energy.
I know just enough to be dangerous, so I can't tell you how the meditation
works. I just know how it feels. I almost always feel as if I'm flying, and
pushing away all the stuff that keeps me from experiencing myself as
"hard-wired for power". Probably this is due to the decisive movement, and
certainly because "har" gives me a sense of proaction, of cutting to the
chase and getting on with it, powerfully. That with God and Guru I can
handle whatever is in front of me...not the kind of prosperity that just
drops into my lap, necessarily, but the kind that's available when I'm not
using up all my energy being afraid.
Sat Nam,
Beth

I am working on the green energy set now, and find that I need to relax
before the end, at least once or twice. Is this ok?

This is a very profound statement.

It is about how we use our energy and being available to receive what is
ours to do what we came here to do.

I am reminded to work on the KYTraining lesson on prosperity. Coming up
soon.

Dear Shoshana,

Totally ok. We are supposed to relax or integrate the energy between all
exercises. The more this is needed the more you will be lead to this
feeling. Integration also opens the space to receive. During this time we
simply allow the energies to balance and align.

BTW, the Green Energy Set is in every one of my 5 KY books. (available at
www.yogatech.com) I love this set. Many people all over the world practice
it.

Blessings,

Gururattan Kaur
