Most people think they can just drink Surabhi's milk and then have Her slaughtered so they can eat Her. Thank goodness the Lord isn't like that.

When His father Vasudev took the Lord from Mathura to Gokul and left Him there in the middle of the night at Nanda Maharam house, The Lord was feeling thirsty and there he was fed by Mother Cow for the First time.

However, it's worth noting that the Lord loves the cows unconditionally, it's an eternal matter.
