Here is Sri Swamiji's Yugadi (Telugu New Year) message as it came on Gemini
TV. I have translated the speech from Telugu to English to the best of my
knowledge. Please kindly excuse any mistakes.

Sri Swamiji's Speech begins:

Jai Guru Datta! Sri Guru Datta!

Yugadi Blessings to all. When wheel of time turned rapidly, year by name
Parthiva passed away and year by name Vyaya came. Time never stops. Vyaya is a
peculiar name. This strange name is also causing fear in people's mind. Vyaya
means expense. On this Yugadi day, many are interested to know how income and
expense are predicted the Panchangam (horoscope of the year). Here name of year
Vyaya, does not point to expenses. Vyaya is the name of unending Time God who
has 60 different names. From this point of view, Vyaya means expending sins.
During this year, pile of sins will get burned for all those who follow
spiritual and religious practices. Devotees of Lord Siva, pray to Siva.
Devotees of Vishnu, Krishna pray to Vishnu or Krishna, chant Vishnu Sahasranama
stotram. Devotees of Datta pray to Datta. Devotees of Lord Anjaneya, pray to
Anjaneya Swami. Devotees of GURU, read Guru Charitra or life story of Guru.
Devotees of Devi pray to Sri Devi, chant Sri Lalita
Sahasranama Stotram and chant Ashta Lakshmi Stuti, pray to Kanaka Durga, pray
to mother goddess Kali. Devotees of Ganapati pray to Lord Ganapati. Other
devotees, pray according to your favorite God according to your Dharma (belief
system).

This year gives a unique chance to burn away piles of sins through prayer.
So, pray well, pray good.

Praying to Lord Siva is very auspicious this year. You can also pray to Lord
Hanuman (Anjaneya Swami) who is incarnation of Lord Siva.
