Can husband be present during birth of his child ?????
There is no question of a husband "assisting" his wife at birth. It cannot be done. It is not a man's business. It is women's business. You can read about Srila Prabhupada's birth and how his mother went to her parents place to give birth AND in a room away from the main house. In India women take care of the birth. I am still looking for the quote but I also heard this (10 years reduced!) many years ago. ys Haridasa vesyadasa |
