Call for educational materials for children, published or manuscripts
Do you have or know about books or other educational materials for
children, their parents, or teachers that teach Vedic philosophy or that
give a scriptural point of view to academic subjects? Do you home-school
and have written lessons for your own children? Our team of educators
starting a curriculum project in London requests a copy of any and all
such materials by December 1st if possible. We are interested in
published matter in any media—books, audio tapes, CDs, computer
programs, and more. We are also interested in unpublished or unfinished
work—electronic or even handwritten. Sketchy notes, adaptation of
commercial materials, or anything you or others have used for teaching
children from age 3 through 18 would be helpful. Please share your wealth!
Do you have or know of materials that support spiritual philosophy but
are not by those familiar with ISKCON? We are probably interested in
having a copy of that, as well. Any information about any educational
materials you can recommend is also greatly appreciated.
While donations of materials are appreciated, the I-Foundation, which is
sponsoring the project, is happy to pay for published works. For
unpublished or unfinished works, we would prefer electronic copies, and
are happy to pay for postage and photocopying if either or both are
necessary. Please clearly communicate, if applicable, any copyright or
use restrictions.
For more information, or if you are unsure about whether or not
something is of interest, or to give information about materials not in
your possession, please contact Urmila devi dasi: urmila (AT) dasya (DOT) com
