Default Vaisnava Yoga Teacher Training Course comes to Radhadesh, January 200

Vaisnava Yoga Teacher Training Course comes to Radhadesh, January 2005.

Join His Holiness Sacinandana Swami, leaders of the Benelux region, England,
Germany, America and Iran this January at the teacher training intensive for
Atma Yoga, a yoga system based on Vaisnava philosophy. Founded by H.G.
Atmananda Dasa, he has begun teaching it all over the world by the order of
his spiritual master, H.H. Bhakti Tirtha Swami. Atma Yoga is hatha yoga and
sankhya yoga infused with the spirit of bhakti, and has been very successful
in the United States as a means of attracting new people to the Vaisnava
community. Some of those people have become devotees of Krsna as a result,
and many of them offer professional skills and help as service to the temple
community as a result of establishing friendship with the devotees. The Atma
Yoga program has been approved by many of ISKCON's GBC, Sannyasis, and
Temple Presidents as offering valuable technologies which can be used by
temples, centres or individuals as a means of attracting people to Krsna
consciousness. Taking advantage of the immense popularity of 'yoga' in the
modern world, Atma Yoga seeks to create an enjoyable and transformative
experience for all who participate, gradually drawing them closer to the
ultimate goal, bhakti-yoga. In the words of His Holiness Devamrta Swami,
"this is a very important program for helping to spread Krishna
Consciousness."

This course will give you the opportunity to:
" Study the philosophical foundations of the Atma Yoga system and it's
connection to our parampara,
" Learn the science and applications of asana, kriya, pranayama,
mudra, bandha, and mantra,
" Study and experience the benefits of the three distinct styles
taught in Atma Yoga: Power Yoga, Slow-Deep-Stretch and Kundalini Yoga,
" Discover how to use yoga as a tool for effective preaching/outreach
work,
" Acquire leadership skills and knowledge of the business of teaching
yoga;
" Gain certification as an Atma Yoga Teacher, recognized by the Yoga
Alliance of America.

The course will be held as a 40 day retreat, from January 10th until
February 19th 2005, in Radhadesh, Belgium. The cost has been kept as low as
possible in order to help devotees take advantage of this opportunity.
Prices start at 645 euros, including dormitory accommodation and prasadam.
Single and twin rooms are available at extra cost. In addition there will be
several books you will need, costing approximately 95 euros. You will also
need to bring your own yoga mat. A laptop is optional but recommended.
