Music as healing force

I friend at University of Ibadan, Nigeria, is researching on Traditional
African Music as a Healing Force in Esan - Nigeria and wants some resource
material in Music as Healing Force in the general context for reference
but specifically based on the Vedic literature. I have delayed his
request 'cos of my programs thinking I could find time to search things
