Nice words here from Prof. Sanyal... Taking them to heart I would like to
quote some words of wisdom from Chanakya Pandit:

"That which will not be believed, even if it is true, should not be spoken."

If those who introduce their "theory", had followed this sage advise before
they introduced it to "ALL" pamho.net account holders, we would have been
spared this mostly contentious exchange.

Shouldn't this be addressed to the US government, the members of
which, I believe are not on PAMHO?

The world political dynamic of the years 1945 - 1988 were dominated
by the capitalist-communist cold war. Srila Prabhupada discussed
communism, took a very aggressive stance against it, and included
discussion of the philosophy within his books.

The world political dynamic of 2001 - date is dominated by the events
of 9/11, militant Islamic terrorism, peak oil and the "war on terror".

To suggest that devotees should not care or be aware of
investigations into these issues is foolish.

No I am addressing it to those who posted this to all PAMHO users.

Fair enough but as has been mentioned he was the Acarya AND he didn't want
us to get envolved on the ground level. He made that very clear when he
instructed us not to get involved in the Vietnamese anti-war movement,
saying that BOTH sides were wrong, and thus we shouldn't take sides. I think
you will have to agree that this point is certainly valid today as well, or
do you see one side as actually fighting on principles of religion?

Naturally we will care and many may have personal opinions but if the
organization is going to speak to these issues, which I won't advise, then
it should be decided by the whole Governing Body Commission.
