Consider a potter making a pot with mud. Potter is the efficient cause, mud the material cause and pot the effect. The effect is related to the material cause ONLY. That's why once you break the pot (effect), it goes back into the material cause, mud. But the effect has nothing to do with the efficient cause. The pot, when broken, doesn't merge into the efficient cause, or every pot will become the potter.

Likewise, God is the efficient cause, his shakti the material cause of this universe. This universe can only merge into the material cause. So man is NOT god, this world is NOT god, nor can it become god because the effect is only related to the material cause and NOT to the efficient cause. Man becoming God is tantamount to saying that the pot can become the potter.

Therefore, advaita, buddhism and other SOTs are absurd. Dvaita defines Hinduism best.

Your example holds good only if God and His energy would "ALWAYS" remain two seperate identities like the "potter" and the "Clay" (mud is not the correct term)

However if the Potter creates Clay out of himself and merges back into himself then the example fails.

Pot and Man are not the same ... this is a bad analog.

Man have free will to act and at same time, alive. A pot has no free will to act and not alive. To break itself, the pot will need an exterior force to play onto displacing and breaking it.

While Man cannot become God, it doesn't mean God cannot become Man or that Man will not return back to God.

I will try to give an example why God is not separate from World or Universe.

I feel the relation between a Seeker (Bhakta) and God is like Mass and Energy respectively.
You can transfer the energy from one mass to another mass through some ways/means. That doesnt mean like mass is separate from energy (Potential Energy). You are breaking mass to explode in atom bomb, there you are converting mass to energy (Einstiens priciple). In the same way Bhakta has to explode/evolve himself to reach God.

There can never be Bhakta without God and vice-versa is also true. Energy prevails at every place, in the same way God is Omnipresent.
