Fed up with life!!!

Of late I have started getting tired of life. i do not have
the will or the desire to live anymore. Nothing seems OK in todays troubled times. Can anyone recommend any breathing
exercises to help my troubled mind.

In these days of moral corruption and depravity I find it
extremely difficult to meet people who are non-hypocritical
especially in India

Now would be the right time do athma vicharan. When you say you are troubled , what is that in you is troubled .The mind in you is troubled, you may say. if you identify yourself with the mind, you dont exist in deep sleep because there is no mind in deep sleep. so you are not the mind. Keep thinking on this lines and you shall find the ultimate truth. These points are given by ramana maharishi.

any guna or durguna is not a monopoly of India or any nation.

Dear Chellaramji what I find most appalling is that people
are not at all interested in the real "You" .Every Tom ,Dick
and Harry is after your bank balance. If you are rich people
are ready to lick your feet ,if you are poor people treat
you like a worm or a bug and squash you with their feet!!!

Even at the time of marriage, the bride's parents want to know the grooms bank balance and qualifications .They are not interested in a persons character. Even if he has many bad habits they will still choose him either because he has a fat bank balance or because he is an NRI!!!!

Saketram ,you are right in principle but still one has to live in this world of men and animals and frankly i prefer the animals!!!!

This is all easy for us to see nothing last for ever sukh or dukh
What can be more hypocritical then blaming others for our own shortcomings after all it is our own karma that has got us to where we are. This is not directed to any one in particular.

Especially in this age of kali it is full of quarrel and hypocrisy but there is one quality very nice and easy to follow and that is to chant the names of the lord guaranteed to bring lasting peace within

ive no clue what you are going through of but it's these times that measure your strength of mind and determination to follow gods path. when you say 'tired of life' do you mean you want to take your own life or are you just saying it loosely? there's many people out there with a similar mind to you, but you have to find them, and that means you should make it an effort to go out and join some groups or whatever to find those people. life is difficult without friends, something i learnt over 6 or 7 years of self-imposed solidarity, it's a way of life you need to bring yourself out of. just remember Krishna's words: "do not yield to this degrading impotence. it does not become you. give up such petty weakness of the heart and arise"

greet the sun! take a deep breath and say "hail sun!"

look up at the birds and bugs flying around and say"hail! pretty birds! and bugs run fo yo life here comes a flying beak!"

look up at the beautiful green trees and beautiful blue sky, take a deep breath and say, "hail! beautiful blue sky and green trees!" and marvel at a wonderful creator-God!

people are people, let God sort out the hypocrites!

Yes ! this is the bumpy reality of this mortal world. We use to come in this world to suffer these consequences of our 'praruddha and sanchit' karmas. Everybody is suffering here and doing or misdoing new karmas for the future sufferings. The selfishness seldom thinks about the real karma, for that, person incarnates and reincarnates again and again within this 'wheel of 84'. People calculate the profit of mundane entertainment only. Maya is controlling everybody but nobody is controlling MAYA.
