Definition of Sadguru

Dear Friend,

Jay Prabhu Sadanandji !

Definition of Sadguru is broadly confused by many, hence it needs be correcly defined now. The two words in 'Sadguru' namely 'Sat' and 'Guru' imply towards Supreme Turth and Act of Preaching respectively. Every body knows or has now come to know that 'Sat' means Truth and 'Guru' means Preacher (or Updeshak). Thus the preacher of Truth is 'Sadguru'. Now the question arises as to who is there who preaches false. Can you name a person who accepts his preaching as false and continue on preaching by decalaring it false ? No, you cannot find a single person in this context. Every one defines one's own preaching as True. Therefore, it is apparently clear that there shall be innumberable Sadgurus at this juncture of this present black age.

What I say is True and the person who preaches my Truth is 'Sadguru' -- is not the correct definition of 'Sadguru'. What my Guru says is only True, so he is the only 'Sadguru' -- is also not the correct definition of 'Sadguru'. Such definitions are limited to one's blind faith and dogmatic nature of understanding. Hence such definitions have no relation with the real Truth. Such definitions have relations with personal truth only.

'Sat' can be classified in two broad categories namely -- Laukik Satya and Paarlaukik Satya. They are also called Physical or Mundane truth and Para or Meta-physical Truth. Further Mundane truth are in three shapes as conventional or traditional truth, practical or behaviourial truth and scriptural or theoritical truth. Similarly Para-physical Truth are also in three shapes as Realizing Truth, Divine Truth and Supreme Truth. Thus there are six shapes of Truth out of which first three come under Avidya, then next two come under Vidya and the last, the Absolue one comes under VidyaTattvam. So the Bramhandiya Truth is in ratio of 3:2:1 in overall.

Now, let us have an overall characteristic view on all the Truths. Mundane Truths (truths under Avidya) as their name implies are ever changing with the pace of this physical world, hence are unstable, perishable and ever degrading. The next two Truths are not unstable, not perishable but stagnant and lasting till the mergence (or dissolution) of this creation. These Vidya Truths are lasting for a very very very long time, so people having interests in Vidya Field falsely consider that these Truths are ever lasting. They do not understand that these Truths are subject to mergence at the time of dissolution of creation. The third one is Supreme Truth or VidyaTattvam which lasts before the creation, during the creation and even after mergence of creation without any changes at any time. This is the ever lasting Truth, hence this is called the final or ULTIMATE TRUTH. This ULTIMATE TRUTH is the whole-sole and all-in-all, the Governor and the Controller of all the Mundane and Para-physical Truths and is ever beyond the Creation. So IT is never subject to any dissolution. This is the very TRUTH WHO is called Khuda-GOD-Bhagwan-Sat SiriAkaal.

Sadguru is meant for preaching the ULTIMATE TRUTH only. The word 'Sat' of 'Sadguru' doesn't imply the avidya truth or vidya truth even, but It implies the Final Truth which is over and above both the mundane and non-mundane truths. So it is not appropriate to define 'Sadguru' on one's personal liking. Conventional truth, traditional truth, theoritical truth, convictional truth and divine truth may be personal. But Absolute Truth may not and never be personal. So any definition based on one's personal experience, behaviour, attachment, liking, nature or conviction must not be taken as the true definition of 'Sadguru'. Since the Supreme Truth comprises into IT all the secrets of all the down truths, so 'Sadguru' is an overall preacher of the all Existences including the fundamental secrets of the world, body, energy, self, soul, maya and GOD. A preacher of any other field than the Absolute or Supreme Truth is not Sadguru. Such a preacher is named as a Partial Guru with respect to his field of interest only. A Partial Guru may be having a knowledge of Divine Entities too, yet he is not 'Sadguru' as he is not having 'Absolute Knowledge of Supreme Exist. So he may be called as a fractional Guru, not Sadguru. In Tretayuga, all even the Spiritualists were not treated as 'Sadguru'. So their disciples have no place in scriptures. Only 'Shri Ramji' was a Sadguru as HE was an Incarnation of the Supreme Truth. That's why His Disciples like Lakshamanji, Hanumanji etc. have got good places in Scriptures and temples. The same case is seen in Dwapar yuga also when the Supreme Truth was incarnated down in a human form namely Lord Krishnaji. Similarly the same Supreme Truth has presently incarnated down as usual in human form namely Sant Gyaneshwar Swami Sadanandji Paramhans of Haridwar in India.
