Mother knows all!! Omniscience (the proof is in the putting) :)

Default Mother knows all!! Omniscience (the proof is in the putting) :)

I just had a most amazing experience.

Both I and my partner were granted names from Mother at the retreat a
few weeks ago. While mine had an obvious translation, we could not
figure out for the life of us what her name meant. We were told it was
a star in Vedic astrology...but what star?...and what did it mean?
Long Internet searches abounded and still we had no idea what the
    significance of the name was.

A few hours ago I got her Jyotish chart. I said to myself, "I just
KNOW that when this report pops up on the screen, the name will be
there." It was. And while I had thought it prior, it nearly knocked me
off my chair when it actually did.

Mother had named her after her birth star! I challenge anyone to come
up with a logical reason as to how Mother knew the exact date, time
and location of her birth so well as to name her after her birth star!
If that does not show Mother is keenly aware of all that is
happpening/happened/will happen to each one of here children, then I
    don't know what is.

I never cease to be amazed each time one of these completely
mind-numbing acts of synchronicity occur (and so, so many of
them)...and I wonder, why are there not scientests, doctors, relgious
leaders, and news stations across the globe shouting about this
amazing avatar who just happens to be gracing our planet at the moment?

Again, I sit....mouth agape in wonder, trying to process yet another
wonderous act of Amma in my limited third-dimensional mind.

How incredibly lucky we all are!

    Jai Ma!!!!!!!!!!!

So what's her name already? And what does your name mean?

The Light of Wisdom is often referred to as the light of a jewel... so
your infinite opulence and never ending light are the Light of Wisdom
and Devotion. Ashwin is the time of year of MahaNavaratri... the Nine
Nights of Celebration of the Goddesses MahaKali, MahaLakshmi and
MahaSaraswati. This is very auspicious for all worshippers of Goddess.

It looks to me like you were truly gifted by Amma with these names.
    Enjoy them in bliss.

    Aum Amriteswaryai Namah!

When i read this mail from Ananthsree, i was reminded of an incident that
    happened just yestrday at Amritapuri.

Yestrday, during the Q&A session with Amma, a little kid came & sat on Amma's
peetham. When Amma saw him, She started saying "Amma.ammma..ammaa.." looking
endearingly at him. She said to us, who were seated near Her that, this kid,
from the moment he wakes up to the time he drops off to sleep, keeps repeating
"Ammma..ammma..ammma..." in this way.... and mimicked the way he says it!! we
were amazed at how She is aware of even what a little kid of 6 months says.

there were other occasions during the day, when Her omniscience was very much
evident. it was no longer a cause a amazement by the end of the darshan.

i am right now typing away the translation of the 75-80min-long Q&A.

dear linda ~ pls sent me the list of members in the group. Swamiji asked for it.
He said, he'll take it to Amma, when he goes to meet Her in Her room. i am not
sure why he wants to show it to Amma... seems like he was impressed with my
account of different emails & devotees in the list.

pls sent me the latest list of prayers. will get it blessed by Amma, when She
    comes for darshan.

i sat near Her during darshan and told Amma how much Her american children were
    missing Her.
    At Her Lotus Feet,
    Her child.

I just had the wonderful experience of working closely with Amma
doing seva at the boston retreat. If you have any doubts about
Amma's omniscience, then begin to do her Seva...it is absolutely
amazing how she guides you and cues you to do what is needed. But
you have to be there. Don't expect the so called scientific experts
or "spiritual" intellectuals to get it.

In Hindu mythology Krishna reveals himself only fleetingly to the
devotees, his play, incomprehensible to most is concealed by our
delusions. But the fullness is revealed to the gopis because he
can't resist their strong devotion. The same is true of our
    Krishna/Amma.

    Aum Amriteshvaryai Namah

    Namaste Anantashree,

Congratulations!! Its wonderful to know that your wife was named
after her birth star by Ammachi, without her even knowing anything
    about Ashwati!!!

    Here's my 2 cents ....

The nakshatra Moon transits during a day is not dependent on the
location of a place on earth. In fact, planetary longitudes
calculated are geo-centric and independent of locale. However, it
    is dependent on the time!!

Nevertheless, it is astonishing as to how Ammachi knew about her
birth time (well not astonishing ... should be a child's play for her
    ... )!!!

One more thing ... you said the name given was Ashwati ...
there is another star which goes by the name Swati ... and this
sounds more like it than Aswini.

It is not uncommon in India/Vedic to name kids after the nakshatra.
Swati, Aswini, Krittika, Chitra, Anuradha, Sravana & Revathi are
    oft used names.

Another practice is to name kids after alphabets belonging to the
rasi(sign of moon at birth) or nakshatra. Each rasi and nakshatra are
alotted alphabets. For example, my name is Narayan ... na belongs
to Anuradha nakshatra ... but my birth star is Krittika ...
    but you get the picture.

    Anyways ... Ammachi knows all!!!

    Have Fun & Congratulations!

    Warm Regards
    Narayan

The name Amma gave me is also directly related to my birth star.
Additionally, my mantra is directly related to the Goddess that I
feel most connected with and have been praying to for many years.

She never ceases to AMAZE me!

    With love,

I thought that Swati, Ashwati, and As(h)wini are all the same star.
It is a dim star in the constellation Ares.

    Namaste Nandu,

Dont wont to get too technical on this list, keeping it short here ...
the constellation Swati extends from 6d 40m in Libra to
20d in Libra, whereas Aswini extends from 0d Aries to 13d 20m in Aries.

    They are both different!

    Warm Regards
    Narayan

You are right, Narayan. Swati is the 15th asterism, and also the
bright star called Arcturus in Bootes. Ashwini and Ashwati are the
same, the first point of Ares. My mistake. (The Malayalam names are
    more familiar to me.)
