Default Re: Rulers of different Rudraksha Mukhi - 03-28-2003, 09:09 AM

These are mostly planetary rulers. Rudrakshas also have numerolgical
associations with certain deities.

One face brings blessings from ParaBrahman.
Two faces brings Ardhanarishvari's blessings.
Three faces brings Agni's blessings.
Four faces brings Brahma's (and by extention, Sarasvati's) blessings.
Five faces brings Sada-Shiva's (and by extenstion, Parvati's) blessings.
Six faces brings Skanda's blessings.
Seven faces brings Lakshmi's (and her son Kama's) blessings.
Eight faces brings Ganesha's blessings.
Nine faces brings Durga's blessings.

April 2nd this year begins the springtime Navaratri (Nine nights of
Goddess Durga). I have a 9-faced rudraksha that I wear during the
holiday.

Default Rulers of different Rudraksha Mukhi - 03-29-2003, 04:53 PM

Hi Len Kalipadma,

Thanks for sharing the numerolgical associations. Wonderful
information, printing it out to keep for reference. Appreciate the
reminder too about the 9 Night of Durga. You lucky boy! You've got
a 9-face rudraksha! Just wondering if you only wear it during special
occasions?

Om Shanti,
Sy
